They did an excellent job. Eric was present the whole time . We had two issues appear after pulling our fridge out in kitchen and finding water underfloor and in dining room we discovered dog stains that had been u see our rugs. They took care of both problems and the floors look amazing. Highly recommend EM Hardwoods!!!!

Eric did a great job, was punctual, and very conscientious. He ended up having to rent extra machinery since the old carpet pad was stuck to the floor! Also there was a section of flooring that had to be replaced where plywood was covering up an old intake vent. Eric installed wood to cover the hole and matched the existing wood perfectly. He did a wonderful job despite the extra challenges. Would definitely recommend Eric!

Our floors look brand new. We we had them refinished in walnut and it looks fabulous. Erick is very professional and communicated with me throughout the process. The finished floors look better than we could have imagined. They were cupping in spots and this had disappointed me since the builder installed the floor 11 years ago. Now they look beautiful and better than they did when they were new. Erick’s quote was understandable and the final price didn’t change. We received 4 different quotes and believe we chose the right contractor for our project. Erick was very flexible and he and Junior worked with a complicated schedule, coming back after we had the interior painted to apply the last coat of sealer and shoe molding. The dust was very minimal and they managed the process without much mess and disruption. He showed us different stain colors on the floor so we could see what he believed we were looking for (“dark brown, not red, not too dark, no shiny finish”) We chose the dark walnut stain and a satin oil sealer and the floors are so beautiful i can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner! My husband didn’t think the floors needed to be refinished and now that he sees the difference, he definitely gets it. We unequivocally recommend Erick as a trusted and talented contractor. My new floors look wonderful. They are sanded very even and smooth and the staining is very even. They applied a water based polyurethane that was high-quality. Very low odor and I got back into my house within a few days. Erick was prompt courteous and very professional. There was very little dust and they cleaned up after their work. I did have to repaint baseboards but that's expected with anyone who would refinish floors

The process was extremely smooth. It started on time and was competed exactly when he said it would. I would use him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Excellent. They refinished my floors and stairs. They even removed the wooden spindles on the stairway to create a perfect surface on the stairs. And I was amazed at how little dust they created. My wife and I could not be more pleased.

We wanted to "modernize" our house and decided that changing the color of the floors was a big part of achieving the look we wanted. Erick was great to work with from the time he gave us the estimate to final completion. He called to keep us up to date on the progress and was VERY patient when we struggled to find just the right stain color.
