I selected a few dates after the New Year. ELITE GARAGE DOOR SERVICE INC. contacted me and was able to schedule the service on one of the dates I requested. The tune-up and roller replacement was done quickly and the garage opens much more smoothly. The company is an installer of the Amarr garage doors and I will call them soon about replacing my insulated vinyl garage door with an Amarr insulated steel garage door in the near future. The $99 Angie's List offer was an excellent value for the money.

They did a great job, very professional and show up on time.

After purchasing this deal on Angie's List, they were able to schedule and come perform the service less than a week later. The guy who came to do the work was super friendly and helpful and did great work. I will likely use them for any future needs.

Service was excellent. Technician was very professional. We had this same door replaced 2 years ago and the company that did the replacement and install wanted $189.00 just to give an estimate for the faulty repairs that they did because the install warranty expired after a year. Elite came out the next day and did everything requested and more. Would highly recommend !

I talked with Frank about my garage door spring issues and he provided extensive information on what it would take to fix it. He had Erik and Chad come out the same day within 1 hour of my initial phone call with him. He is very passionate about customer service and providing products that last. I would definitely use him again.

I have used Elite Garage Door for all my door needs for some time. Frank is very knowledgeable and responsive. I don't even think about calling another company. Be careful that you are dealing with Elite Garage Door Service, Inc. and not an imposter sounding similar. Be sure to talk to the owner, Frank.

Great, Elite helped with the design of the 18x7 wood door to match the description my wife and I had in mind. The quality of the door is awesome and the install worked out really well. Elite's suggestions were right on target and we are very pleased. In fact, neighbors keep commenting on how good it looks!

We contacted Elite Garage Door first thing in the morning when our garage door broke and Frank was able to send Charlie out that same afternoon. He determined that a bolt had come loose due to the door not being installed properly (by our Contractor, NOT Elite). Charlie fixed it and greased and checked other areas of the door. I asked him to check the other door just in case it wasn’t installed correctly and he was happy to do so and determined it was about to break loose as well. Charlie was very nice and professional and I appreciate him taking the extra time to check our other door. We would definitely recommend them and use them in the future if needed.

Frank did a great job and was easy to work with. He weighed my door which is solid wood and weighs almost 1100 pounds. The springs that were on it were a little too small so he recommended a heavier set of springs. He also pointed out that my rollers were worn out and rattling very loudly, and that I had 5 broken hinges. Even with all that, his bill was still a few hundred less than other companies I talked to who were ONLY going to replace the springs with the same thing I had on there. He didn't have the springs on his truck the first day he came, so he temporarily repaired the broken spring so we could at least open the door, then came back 2 days later to make the repairs. Now with the right springs, my opener isn't working as hard, you can lift the door by hand much easier, and it runs so much smoother and quieter than before. I highly recommend Frank's company and his integrity! He quoted us a price up front, and then when it took several hours longer than he thought it would, he stuck to his original quote.

Each time when I call, I get a recorded message saying that the business is closed and that in case of emergency to call a certain number which will charge an emergency fee. When I did business with them, I expected to be able to contact them in case of a problem with the garage door which I purchased from them and installed by them. This is totally unacceptable.

Everything went very smoothly from initial contact through the installation and clean up. I was looking to replace an outdated garage door opener that was beginning to fail and I communicated with Frank over email about my options. He made a great recommendation that I decided to run with and was able to get somebody out to my house the next day. Jamie (the installer) arrived within the two hour time window that I was provided with and did a great job getting everything installed quickly and professionally or a reasonable price. Overall, I had a great experience and I will likely be looking to replace my garage door in the next two years and will plan on calling Elite to get the job done then. Thanks again Frank and Jaime.

A spring broke on one of our garage doors. The door was not "stuck" in an open position, so this was not an emergency. I called late in the week and they scheduled us for Saturday morning to look at the problem. Our old garage door openers were over 20 years old and did not have some of the current safety and convenience features available on new openers. In addition to replacing the broken spring, we decided to replace both garage door openers. Bryan was able to do the work that same day. My husband and I are so pleased with the new garage door openers. We especially like the convenience features. A big thank you to Bryan and Elite for their responsiveness and fast, friendly service!

It went very well.Took care of the job when he said he would.

I spoke to Frank and explained my issue. He was professional and scheduled me for that afternoon. Bryan (Technician) was on time. He was friendly but professional. He completed the tune-up and reprogrammed the keypad. I asked him how to disconnect the motor and he showed me how to disconnect the system if I needed to manually open the door in case of a power outage. I'd recommend Elite highly. Thank you. Helen

Got the job done the same day I called him. When I got home from work and tried to close the garage door I found it would reverse and open again. I called Brian and he had his guy come back within 20 mins to make the necessary adjustments. Now working fine. Seems the problem was, although they tested the door after replacing the springs, I added in the weatherstripping at the last minute which through off the adjustments. Very satisfied with the work and their responsiveness to come back out that night to get it adjusted.

He took his time with us and stayed on the phone with us until my husband fixed the problem, He was very polite, knowledgeable, explained everything to us, and helped us right over the phone. He told us where to go and what to look for if the pin continues to fall out. He really didn't have to help us and he did. He was very friendly about it. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

I called in the am and was able to schedule Brian that afternoon. Our 22 year old garage door opener quit working the night before and Brian was able to repair it as well as replace both torsion cables. He did a complete tune up of the door which included checking the springs, resetting the height of the safety electric eye as well as making adjustments to give the door a better seal. We were extremely pleased with his approach and great customer service. We have a quieter door and a more secure door for sometime to come. We HIGHLY recommend this company......very, very impressive.

We talked on the phone. Made an appointment for Tuesday. He never showed, never called. UPDATE* Customer called back to apologize, I appreciated his candor. He mentioned somehow paperwork got lost for the appt date. He is coming out today for a quote. Want's a chance to make it up. Glad he got back to me! Want to give him a chance for my business!

It was AWESOME! I called on a Friday night after they had closed and they still answered the phone! It wasn't an emergency so we setup an appointment for the next day. I was promptly called 30 minutes before they came to give me a heads-up. They were on-time. In addition to replacing the spring that broke he also checked everything out to make sure my other door was working fine, greased everything that needed it and even re-anchored the wall buttons since they were loose. Great job overall. I would highly recommend!

THE OWNER, FRANK, WAS HONEST WITH ME WHEN I ASKED IF A NEW GARAGE DOOR WOULD KEEP WATER OUT OF THE GARAGE. HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME NEW DOORS, BUT WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT THE DOORS WERE NOT OPENING AND CLOSING AS I FELT THEY SHOULD, HE SUGGESTED A TUNE-UP. HIS TECHNICIAN, BRIAN, WAS AT MY HOME IN APPROX 2 HRS AND DID THE JOB PERFECTLY. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR WORK TO ANYONE.

The garage door has a pull string and a manual setting so I tried that but could not get it to work. The guy came and did the same thing I did except he let it run a little longer and opened the door a little so that it would catch. I did not know to do that. That is literally all it took. He was going to charge me $75 for the visit. I thought that was a little high, but his boss said no. He had to charge me the full price which was $125. So I was not happy with that garage door service. They did the job and they did fix it, but I don't know what made it cost that much. I certainly did not think it was fair and I did not want to get the young man in trouble. From the service provided the guy was excellent. He was friendly, quick and was willing to cut me a break. I would say he was good. The service was great but I would never use them again. The quality was good.

Even though I wasn't a customer, Elite added me on to the already full schedule to provide same day service. I was very grateful as the alternative would have been that my garage door was left open all night. The service team assessed the situation, explained what the issue was, why it happened, how they would fix it and the price. They also tightened the cables on the other (not needing repair yet) door and were done in a half hour. I couldn't have been happier with Elite.
