Although he was scheduled for a later date he managed to get someone here to remove the dead bird at an earlier date. He stayed in touch with me throughout to see how things were going. He was professional ane courteous. I will definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

Their website says no job too big or too small, this job was too big for them. Had to cut my losses after only a small percentage of the work was performed. I received a quote to have 12 different woodworking / exterior home projects performed on my house. The first project was rebuilding some external stairs. This one project ended up costing almost the entire original quote for the 12 projects. The labor and material costs sky rocketed from the beginning and portions of the project had to be redone as they were not done satisfactorily. Shane (the owner) attempted to rectify some of the problems, unfortunately the helper he had was not up to par and my project suffered.

Great - the door was in rough shape and didn't seal -- now it seals well and has saved me on my heating bills!

I had to go behind and reclean all the areas that he romoved caulk from. I know it is hard to clean old caulk but I thought it would be cleaner. Not sure I think the current job is better than what was already there. After Shawn read my review he contacted me and offered to refund my money or come and redo the work. I told him I appreciated the follow up. Since I already had cleaned up there was no point in him coming back out so if he feels it is the right thing to do he can refund the fee-- it is up to him. His follow up, professionalism, and attitude to correct what was not pleasing will make me reconsider and possibly use him again in the future. In his defense, when he left my house I did not tell him I was unhappy with the condition of the house as I did not really know I was unhappy until after he was gone and I went into the rooms to put stuff back. Thanks for following up.

Shane and an assistant arrived on time and proceeded to work on the items noted above. They accomplished everything for which I contracted in an efficient and workman like manner. Everything was completed in one very long afternoon. I would highly recommend Shane and his company for any jobs like this, or other handyman tasks. I have used him for other jobs and will again.

We had a fence that had been left half-stained. We hired him to stain the rest of fence. He did the work great and efficiently in the time expected. Thanks!

Though I had specifically told him what the job was to entail, he showed up at my home without insulation. He went to the store to purchase the insulation strip, but it was not long enough for my 9' door so there is a gap in the insulation two feet above the floor. I could have done this myself. I would assume he would have long enough stripping (professional grade I can't purchase at a hardware store for myself) so that there would not be a gap. oh, well. He was polite and wasted no time doing his job. Very nice man, but I don't feel as if I received what I would hoped for: a seamless insulation strip. He asked me at the time if this was fine and I told him, 'yes'. Update: Shane has called me since reading my review on Angie's List. He was dismayed that I was not pleased (and I'm not happy with myself that I was not pleased and had not told him up front) and he has offered to fix the insulation at his own expense. He will be out today. I will update my experience review once he's finished with the job. I'm sure it will be an A and not a B. He is a very nice man and takes pride in his work. Update: Shane came out and replaced the stripping. He made me feel comfortable even though I feel I am the one who wasn't 'professional'. He claimed that through his research in finding extra-long insulation he 'learned something about his business' that he hadn't known before and called it a learning experience. I will definitely use this service again.

Shane and his helper were great. Got right to work, knew what they were doing. We had several items in need of some expert handyman service and Shane did them all. We've had him out 3 total times to fix all the issues and will probably have him back out soon to fix out back gate once we decide what to do with it.

They were very gracious and said no this is what you need done and we will continue to finish the job. I would hire them again in a heart beat. Thank you again!

All went well. He did a great job and he was very friendly. He fixed the door quickly. We've had no problems with it since then and everything is working well. I would definitely recommend him.

As soon as we purchased the deal, we received an e-mail and we set up an appointment. He showed up a little late for the appointment but I was okay with that. We discussed what we wanted for our deck. He said he would have our designs to us within 3-4 days. After 15 days, I e-mailed him asking where the designs were. He wrote back saying that I should have already received the plans and that he would look into it. Later in the afternoon I received a message from another company that I was recommended to them by Eager Beaver Handyman Services. We received an e-mail a couple days later from Shane stating that he was unable to fulfill the coupon as it was outside of his expertise.

They were very quick to respond via email and scheduled an appointment within a few days of my returning from vacation. Unfortunately, a little over a week later they emailed me saying they were too busy to do the job. Furthermore, they recommended another provider and forwarded them my contact info. My ratings are not reflective of any services, as none were provided. Instead they result from my dissatisfaction and concerns for having my contact and email information shared without my consent. Eager Beaver should be more mindful in protecting their customer's privacy.

We contracted Eager Beaver Handyman Services by purchasing a voucher during one of Angie's List's specials. Shane mmeditely got in touch with us to arrange a date and time, arrived as scheduled and did all the work quickly and neatly. We have contracted him to do additional work, replacing flooring in our laundry and utility rooms and to realign and seal our second floor gutters. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. His work is of very high quality, he works fast and his prices are very reasonable. We would recommend him without any hesitation and have indeed already hired him to do additional work for us.

Shane was on time, he was professional and he responded on time. He was not able to complete the job it was too much work, I have already scheduled another appointment with him. I would recommend him to anybody how needs some work done.

Shane arrived on time and proceeded to inventory all of the hardware that I had purchased. He then, very professionally and methodically, changed out all of the hinges, door handles and other hardware. Because this took longer than anticipated, Shane came back the next day to finish. He completed the job, including the sticking door on the next day. He did a very good job and did not waste any time.

We called Shane and he came out and gave us an estimate. While there he fixed our folding door in a few moments. So we decided to book him and discussed several things inside and out. He said he had a couple days and could he come immediately to take paint off our front and side porch railings. He worked for several days, first using chemicals, then a sander. He sent someone a week or so later on a bad weather day and had to stop in ten minutes. After with the expense already and still not ready to paint, we are making other arrangements. Shane is a nice person, busy juggling many jobs and we wish him the best. We wish he'd come later and done it all at once rather than piecemeal. So after several weeks of no contact from him we are moving on to other arrangements.

Purchased the Angie's Deal front door maintenance. Shane contacted me immediately to set an appointment. He was on time and did a great job. I spoke with him about several other handyman jobs that I needed and he was able to get to and handle quickly. On top of that I had a guest bathroom that needed to be updated and needed it quickly because we were expecting company. The bathroom was repainted and all fixtures were changed out (lighting, faucets, toilet, and bath/ shower fixtures. He also had to remove an old shower door, repaired the tiles and freshened the caulking. Shane stayed late until the job was completed and did a fantastic job. Can't say how much it was appreciated! I am already working on a second round of repairs needed. Highly recommend Shane - pricing was fair and quality of work was excellent.

They did door repairs. I had 5 doors that needed various adjustments and repairs. He is a good communicator. He's very responsive, shows up on time, and he's quick. He doesn't dawdle, he gets the work done quickly. I would say if you need a good handyman he does a good job with doors, he's very efficient and he also does a variety of other things. He's responsive and communicative, no language problems. All around ideal.
