Eager Beaver Handyman Service

He did a great job. He was punctual and did a very good job. He replaced the screen to my front gable to my house and replaced the screen on my backdoor screendoor.

I have used Eager Beaver twice in the past month - each time they were on time and got the work done very well and in a very reasonable time. They are professional and I will continue using them - Shane runs a good group and his folks are excellent.

Outstanding provider of services, excellent communicator, friendly manner and respectful in all interactions, provided complete and thorough estimate anticipating possible changes in needs, arrived on scheduled date at scheduled time and worked diligently to complete the work. Did excellent job on all items addressed. Cleaned up so that I would not have known he had been in the areas unless I recognized the work completed. Excellent in providing suggestions to address future needs. Recommend to anyone needing good, reliable, cost conscious, capable handyman services and desiring interaction that is professional and personally pleasant.

I was easily able to schedule a convenient appointment. Shane arrived on time and let me know he was on the way. I had originally planned for him to switch out several light fixtures, but was only able to find one I liked for one of the ceiling lights. He also looked at a smoke detector we were wondering about and said we were fine. He looked at the garbage disposal which wasn't working and got that going. It was SO loud. He said it sounded like one of the rotating pieces inside had broken. He suggested I call the 800 number to find out when it was manufactured. I did so and found it was under warrant. They came and replaced it 5 days later when the new one came in. I also had him measure and give me an estimate for tiling the laundry room. I will be calling him when I am ready to do that project. I was very pleased with the promptness, price, and professionalism.

The provider used a co-worker to do the interior work. He did more than what was agreed to and ran into problems because of it. A one day job turned into several and we were charged accordingly far above the estimate. The men did a good job but seemed inexperienced.

I called Eager Beaver Handymen services and Shane was able to schedule the service on short notice for within a week of the call. I needed the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors installed since I didn't have a reliable smoke detection device. I also didn't have lighting in half of my garage and had a problem with grubs in my lawn with hungry moles tearing up the lawn. When we discussed the work it was estimated to take up to two hours. Interestingly, Shane and his wife was scheduled to prepare food for a wedding the same evening....now that is multi-talented! Shane arrived before the scheduled time....which was fine and completed all of the work in a much shorter period of time. He was very professional and honest, two of the most important qualities in service providers. I plan to have some painting done in the near future and will absolutely call Shane when I've purchased the paint. Excellent service and I highly recommend to others and especially if you have several different types of work to be done.

I first asked for a quote and was blown away. At $60 an hour that is more thqan some surgeon's make. When I questioned him on it he revised the quote. Very nice man. Problem was that when the man who came to do the repairs had to go to Lowes's twice to get what he wanted. If I had known what he went for I could have given him the one that had already been bought. Overall, he was professional, fairly quick and did a goodjob. If they weren't so expensive I would use them for everything I have to do, which is seveal as I am trying to get the house ready so I can move. Overall they are a professional outfit, willing to work with you, but their prices do not match up with the quality of their work.

Shane was wonderful. He was always quick to respond and very thorough. Our bathroom shower grout was moldy and disgusting and it now looks brand new!

He was good. He didn’t finish everything in the 3 hours but he finished everything that important.

This was a great experience...from making the appointment to getting things fixed! He arrived exactly on time and worked steadily, effectively completing the things on the list and working hard to find solutions when we encountered any issues. He completely cleaned the work area when he finished. The focus on customer service was very apparent. I'm already working on a new list when I will call them back for another job! Highly Recommended.

Very well! Shane and his crew are very responsible and professional. I gave him a list when I met him, within a day I had an estimate and within another day, we had the work scheduled. I will be using his services for other maintenance around my house.

Celestino Moya, from Eager Beaver Handyman Services arrived promptly at 9:00 am. He spent time adjusting a back gutter to flow toward the downspout. It was always filled with water and thus not properly leveled. In addition, the gutter did not completely back up to the house, so he constructed a metal diverter to rain on the roof flowed into the gutter instead of down the side of the house. In the kitchen, he needed to adjust a newly purchased floor cabinet to fit next to current cabinets. This also required removing a bit of the bottom of the cabinet and installing molding. In the bath he installed two cabinets under the current sink shelf. The work was very well done and precise. I have used Handyman in the past and will be using them again after kitchen counter tops are installed.

They were very professional and responsive and came out within a few days to give me a quote on the small repairs. When they came back to do these repairs, they finished promptly, under the estimated time, and checked on the rot damage in the bathroom. He gave me a quote for the repair and we discussed retiling the bathroom. When they came back to do the work, they were on time, as usual, removed the old linoleum, removed and repaired the rotted wood, then placed the tile. The tile expert came back the next day to do the grout, and then they returned again a few days later to replace the moulding and bathroom fixtures that had to be removed for the work to be done. The tile looks great, and everything was put back in its place and cleaned. Shane checked on the work to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely use this company again for future repairs and improvements.

He was on time and when he did not find anything wrong with the water pressure or master bath toilet, he let me know.

ilson RoadShane was very professional and showed up on time the day I called him for an estimate. He even brought his top carpenter, Jorma with him for the estimate. He gave me the estimate by phone the next day. We agreed on the price and he told me that he could schedule me in 1 week. He and his crew were there on time on the scheduled day and they got right to work. Shane left after he was sure that his crew understood the job. Jorma and Celestino did a beautiful job. Their work was first class and the windows look great. Both Jorma and Celestino were very professional and very nice men. They were great to have there. They cleaned up everything and were so detailed that they even puttied the finish nail holes so you couldn't even see them. I would very highly recommend them.

Came back to fix a prior repair and now corrected.

I contacted Shane on a Saturday morning when my contractor did not show up to help put up blinds and curtain rods in our newly renovated house. Shane called me back within the hour and set up a time first thing Monday to come help. (He actually offered to come on Sunday but it wouldn't work with my schedule). Celestino, one of Shane's employees came on Monday to begin work. What I liked most about Celestino was his attitude, professionalism and his ability to work through any issues. He did so well on Monday that I I had him come back on Wednesday to complete the rest of the work. He even stayed late on Wednesday installing the fireplace doors when they would not fit with the original parts. He was able to work through the issue and get it done. I appreciate all of his hard work and would reccomend Eager Beaver. I will definitely use them again in the future!

The kind of work I was interested in was not what he did. He does door adjustments, but we were thinking of removing the door and rebuilding the threshhold. He seemed quite capable and willing to do most kinds of work.

On time and on schedule with reasonble price.

Overall it was a good experience. We did not have a lot to get done but it was cheaper to go through this deal on Angie's compared to paying someone separately for installing fan & light fixtures and cleaning gutters. The only thing is that we had a board hanging out probably because of nail pop....not sure what it is called exactly but this board is right below the gutters and above siding where the end of roof is. The handy man was able to fix it since he described it as just a nail pop. But a month after that we saw the board pop out again. Now this might be because they were not installed properly initially or because the handy man was not able to fix the nail pop. I am going to give a overall good rating!

The group was on time for service. They were persistent in making certain that the specific project was completed properly. Projects included door sealing, both front and back; kitchen lighting, double window curtains adjusted to open completely; installing appropriate lighting in offices and closet.

Fabulous service! Responsive (came the next day to estimate work). Professional (called to say they would be 20 minutes late and arrived only 12 minutes late). Honest about limitations ("We need to bring in a tile expert for this job. I'lI bring him on Thursday"). Good work ethic - no standing around. High standards for work. Called to check in after repairs done by his crew when he wasn't on site. Came back twice - including on Sunday - to adjust drawers that didn't work as well after the clothes were put back in them as they had when tested by carpenter empty. Cost was reasonable and in line with other estimates I got from people who didn't follow through. When the cost of what we requested was likely to be high, Shane offered lower cost options for repair. I can't say enough good things about him.

Shane came out and reviewed the jobs to be tackled. One of the qualities I immediately like about Shane is that he knew what he was confident he could do and told me the one task that he was not confident of taking on. However, he provided me two referrals for people who did that type of work. On each work day he and his helpers arrived as scheduled and went immediately to work. They were very efficient and worked well as a team. During the work, they recommended that I consider a small additional small job to make the walls look fantastic. I took them up on their recommendation. They did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves nicely. The price was reasonable for the work performed. The quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely use them again. I was very impressed with Shane, the owner, as well as the workers he brought with him. The workers were selected based on the actual task being completed.

This was a Big Deal for 3 hours of door maintenance. Shane was punctual and professional. He communicated clearly with me in advance and did the work very efficiently. He followed up the next day to make sure everything was OK. I would not hesitate of recommend him. I definitely plan on using Eager Beaver Handyman i the future as the need arises.

He finished a little early so he came back another time because I had a little time left. He said he would come back when I have something else to do and he did that. I was pleased.
