Eager Beaver Handyman Service

It went very well. Mr. Walt's Pluming Company was very professional and courteous, a job well done. I will use Eager Beaver Handyman for my near future projects.

They were very easy to set up an appointment with. Shane was on time and very professional with some questions on our needs and schedules. After a couple of emails, Shane came over again without me being around and made sure that estimate was accurate. Overall it was a great customer experience all around.

I was interested in buying a big deal offer. The company info shows that they work nearby but my country was not listed. I sent an email to ask if they would work in my area. I never received a response.

We had recently moved into our house and needed some differnt work done. They werevery responsive to come put for the consultation and then scheduling time to come for the actual repairs. There were some steps on our back deck that needed to be replace, and upon inspection we realized there was too much wood rot and they would need to build a whole new set of stairs. They also replaced some lighting fixtures around the house.

After moving into my new home I went looking for a couple good sized kennels for my dogs. After purchasing and installing 2 8 x 8 kennels I realized that the sloping ground underneath them was causing issues for my older dog. I decided to have the ground leveled underneath and ultimately gave the job to Eager Beaver. They were courteous, timely and did an excellent job. The only issue I had was price. The job started out simple (level out the area either by building up or digging down) but in the end became significantly more complicated (they built a sub-floor with concrete anchors, steps to get into one of the kennels,etc). The price jumped by at least 50%. Not good. Also I'm fairly sure the additional work was done without clear approvals. I say "fairly sure" because my mother-in-law was there that day and she would have no problem approving additional work. The additional costs should have been discussed with me (the guy writing the check) up front. Again, the quality of workmanship is outstanding and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The only thing keeping them from a perfect score was the "surprise" jump in cost.

I was impressed by the attention to detail. With an older house there were challenges with installing the ceiling fan and the team took time to do it the right way. I appreciated their honesty and hard work.

He did a great job. He was very professional, on time, and the price was exactly what he quoted. There were no surprises.

They didn't bring the materials to caulk the granite, and didn't seem to know how to do it. They put some clear silicone down, but it wasn't really what I expected. I had some shifting between granite countertops and I wanted a colored grout or caulk to bridge them.

The breaker for my heat pump kept tripping. I checked the breaker box and everything looked good. It was a Saturday and I hesitated to call a heat/ac company due to weekend costs. I called Shane and he responded quickly. It was a busy Saturday but he came over late that afternoon. He and his electrician quickly diagnosed the problem, went to Lowes for the part and had me up and going in a short time. I was very please with the service, price and flexibility.

Arrival promptly at stated time. A walk through was completed to determine the supplies needed for all the jobs. The two men worked steadily throughout the day until the jobs were all completed. Only one item could not be completed and we rescheduled for that one to be completed. Very professional and easy to talk to. They took the time to answer my questions . The only suggestion I have is when the power is going to be cut off the electrician should advise of this . We needed to reboot our computer a couple times due to not shutting it down properly because of the power being cut off. Would definitely call this company again for future work. These people work hard and steady.

The workman was on time ,pleasant and did a wonderful job.

They went out of their way on a Sunday and fixed our shower. They fixed it the same day.

I was impressed that he was honest about what he could do and willing to refer me elsewhere when it made sense. I would certainly call him again with another issue!

The work was contracted through Shane (owner) and performed by Stephen. The work went well except for having a difficult time acquiring the right color siding to match what was on the house. It took almost two weeks for Shane to come up with the color match, but, to his credit, he stayed with it until he did! Stephen arrived on time to do the work and stayed all day, on the first day, to try and get it all done. When Shane found the right siding color match Stephen was back out in a timely manner to install it. Both Shane and Stephen were professional and friendly and easy to work with given the hassle of color matching my vinyl siding to my liking. All their work was done to my satisfaction. Thank you both.

Shain, the owner of the business, came before the appointment to check out the work that was supposed to be done and then gave me an estimation. He was flexible and open to discuss problems with the customers and does his best to keep them happy. Sal was more than punctual since he arrived earlier than the appointment time. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. He worked continuously, moving promptly from job to job. He even went to the store to buy new batteries since the ones I had were expired. He did a very good job and completed the work in time.

I had a TV wall mount installed for a 32 inch TV. Job was done professionally, promptly, & Customer care.

Shane arrived promptly as scheduled to provide an estimate for repairs needed on our home. We walked the exterior and then the interior going over each item that we wanted repaired. He took photos of each item and made note as well. At the completion of the walk around he said that he would have our quote to us within "forty eight hours". This was on 3/24/2014 at 1:00PM. We had not heard anything from him by 3/27/2014 and at 3:15 PM I sent him an email saying that if he was going to provide a estimate, I needed to have it sent to me. Shanes' response, "it was a big list, you'll have it by tomorrow", that was his response at 6:15 PM. It is now 2:00 PM on the 31st and still no response or more importantly NO Quote. All that being said, if he did not or could not preform the services required, he should have said so. So as it stands, unfortunately, I would not use his services nor recommend him to anyone for anything. He may be the best there is as far as handyman work, but when he can't do what he says he will do , when he says he will do it, sorry, just not how I do business.

Workers were courteous and pleasant, and the work was done quickly and well. They cleaned up and removed all garbage/debris, and overall I'm very satisfied.

This is the second time I have used this service any they were prompt, professional and respectful. They came to estimate the work and there were no surprises once they completed the work. I will be using them again.

Very well, mounted the bracket to Stucco and it was done very well.
