They coordinated with some of the subs and pulled all of the permits necessary to have the work done correctly and professionally. The entire crew is a joy to work with and they are so very responsive to any requests that we have. After they depart, I am thinking about what project we can undertake to have them return!

They were very professional and were excellent in laying tile. They even made sure that around the fireplace that the various colors in the stone were mixed properly around the fireplace. Both projects were completed promptly and look awesome. We use Eager Beaver for everything we can!!

Shane and Michael from Eager Beaver were on time every day, pleasant, professional, and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. They explained what they were doing on as the project progressed, and did an excellent job overall. The project entailed replacing a bathtub; new tile in the shower; new toilet; new flooring; and painting the vanity, walls and ceiling. I am very pleased with the quality of the project and will be using Eager Beaver again for future projects.

+ -1 moreChris arrived on time and was very courteous. He let me know what was needed to mount the tv and that he would need another employee to help him (he was also courteous). I needed to purchase a tv mount and he would need to purchase a drill bit but what he didn’t tell me was that I would be charged if he was going to the store to buy these items. I would say that I was not happy, I called Shane the owner and informed him on what had happened. He quickly called me back ( which I greatly appreciated) and apologized for what had happened and offer to refund me back $100. That, I was really grateful for because he didn’t offer up any excuses, he just gave me great customer service! I will definitely hired this company again. Thank you Eager Beaver Handyman Service!!

+ 11 moreOverall our experience with Eager Beaver has been excellent. They are prompt at responding. They are professional at letting one know about scheduling. If there is a problem, it is dealt with quickly. When I've had a problem, I've talked with them about it and gotten an immediate solution, sometimes at no charge when it was their mistake---and were very pleasant about it, too. The workers are experienced and expert. The guys work hard. They are pleasant to be around. They are helpful with suggestions and solutions to problems. The guys are generally respectful of us and our property, as well as kind. We have had so many experiences with contractors who were dishonest, did shoddy work, charged for work (and materials) not done, made appointments and didn't call or come, were not respectful of us our of our property, that we now only deal with Eager Beaver with any jobs we need done that they can do.
Description of Work: We have had so many services done by Eager Beaver, off and on since 2013. We chose Eager Beaver because they would do just about any kind of job, odd or not. They have cleaned out our basement in one house where we lived, to help us prepare for listing the house for sale. There they also washed flower pots, plugged holes behind a downspout, painted lawn furniture, cleaned a chandelier, washed the spaces between windows and storm windows, washed windows, caulked a place in a bathroom where the wallpaper was torn and refastened the wallpaper, repaired a rotten threshold on our back porch floor, cleaned and coated a terrazzo front porch floor, installed light fixtures, vacuumed in our attic and basement. Beginning in 2017, when we moved into a house that had many problems, Eager Beaver has repaired holes in kitchen shelves, leveled our stove, repaired large holes in walls, installed ceiling light fixtures, installed a bathroom faucet set, installed a utility sink, built shelves in our garage, sorted out a LARGE truckload of items put in our garage when we moved, taken many items to Goodwill and Habitat Restore, as well as to the city dump, installed new, insulated steps in an attic access, painted several rooms, repaired and sealed then stained our deck, installed 4 new storm doors, fixed doors that wouldn't close properly, installed and painted outdoor shutters beside windows, removed a plastic coating from kitchen cabinets that was bubbling and painted the cabinets, built a double handrail from our yard to the deck. They repaired a split rail fence that had 12 rotten posts, 3 broken rails, and, broken wire, plus a broken double sided fence gate. They have put together a media cabinet, fixed a broken closet door, filled holes in the foundation from faucet removals, installed smoke/fire detectors, repaired woodwork around doors and thresholds, built thresholds over cracks and uneven floor installations, lubricated window and blind hardware, caulked around fixtures. They have cleaned out our gutters and fixed a couple of problems on the roof while they were at it. They have cleaned our deck and our large waste containers. I'm sure I have not listed everything because Eager Beaver has helped us with so many projects.

+ 4 moreEager Beavers did the following: Demolished old deck and built new one. Pressure painted house. Replaced crawlspace door. Painted all wood trim. Removed old sliding glass door to replace with new French door. Discovered rotted joists under old door, so took extra time to replace with new wood. Installed new French door and painted it. The crew was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. They were at my house several days and always showed up on time. They made sure everything was up to code and that I was satisfied before they left. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Shane Halpin of Eager Beaver brought in his crew and plowed through the extensive list of changes (and I kept adding tasks as well). Imagine not being present for such extensive work - upon my return, what a wonderful work product awaited me!! They continued for a few more weeks and I continue to use their services regularly - whenever I contact them, they are responsive, professional and meet every challenge I have thrown their way!! I would never consider using any other company - I trust them and know that whatever they tackle will be done to the highest standards!! Thanks so much for making my house look beautiful!!!

+ 6 moreWhat professionals! As Shane and Chris demolished part of the shed to rebuild, they discovered termites (which had caused the problem). Other companies would have covered up the problem. We were able to get to the source of the problem and then proceed with the restoration. They reframed the shed, put in appropriate materials for outdoor use, rewired and added lights and then did a terrifc job painting the final product. They are reliable and particular about the work that they do. So responsive and checked with us to ensure that the work was performed to our satisfaction (and it was more than we expected!). I have recommended them to friends and neighbors. Top quality, Eager Beaver!!

They have always been honest, professional, and punctual. Shane has even gone out of his way on a day off while he was with his wife and kids bc I had a little issue with my garage. Currently, Shane and his team are renovating an apartment complex we purchased last year. Since I can't be at the project everyday it's comforting to know that I can trust Shane and his team to get the job done. With Eager Beaver, I know I am NOT dealing with an exercise in smoke and mirrors like I have with other contractors and handy men in the past.
