Description of Work: Dulin replaced my upstairs furnace and A/C unit plus some old duct work. Dublin did a good job all around and I have no issues at all with what they did for me. They were very professional and prompt. I would use them again and recommend them to neighbors.

Description of Work: Replaced heating and a/c system in home. From the initial meeting with Andy Dulin through the installation everything was done in a professional manner. |I had contacted several contractors for quotes and was impressed by Andy's knowledge and explanation of the various options, and the cost was the best value for an upgraded system. They were able to accommodate my schedule and everything was done on time, as promised. I couldn't be happier with the experience and have been most pleased with the resulting lower electric bills from a more efficient system.

Description of Work: I feel A-list is as much at fault as the company performing the service b/c the small company now gets more business than they can handle at a deeply discounted price. If I have to book and pay through A-List then they are as much responsible for shoddy services being provided as the company actually providing the service. A-List should be working with and better screen smaller companies to make sure the provider can perform the job - Bottom line is that a bad service experience reflects poorly on BOTH the provider and A-List! |Purchased my last "Big Deal" through A-List! Paid $99 for a routine 20-Point Air-Conditioning Tune-Up on 98 degree day. |Technician shows up and begins checking diagnostics on our CURRENTLY WORKING LENNOX AC-System. After turning the system off to place the algae pucks in attic air handler (condenser box) unit the technician informs me he has to run to the store to buy more condenser coil cleaning solution - here's where it goes downhill. |After returning he performs the remaining service. In addition he recommends adding more 2-lbs of refrigerant to the system, which he does for around $230.00. After leaving the house will not go below 77 degrees over the next 3-hours. After persuading him to come back out that same evening he immediately goes back to the condenser box in the attic which now has multiple air-leaks. He explains this and the loss of refrigerant are most likely the cause of the problems. Solution, go to Lowes/Home Depot and buy HVAC tape and re-seal the box - Which I ended up doing the next day and why I added the $4.00 to the total. |HE JUST HAD THE COVER OFF TO PUT THE ALGAE PUCKS IN AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY TAPE ON THE TRUCK! So now this is my problem? Regardless, when I asked him to put his gauges back on the system to make sure it was properly charged, (shocker) the initial charge didn't take. I was not going to pay for anymore refrigerant to be added and later the company agreed. So I still paid $125 for 1-lb of refrigerant b/c I felt bad for the tech that had only been with the company for 2-weeks and had to come back out at 10:30 PM.

Description of Work: Put in new central air conditioning. Owner himself made the sale. He was much more knowledgeable than the salesmen I talked with at other companies.

Description of Work: Evaluated first floor HVAC unit which was not cooling. Determined that capacitor was not working. Replaced this part. Checked both units for refrigerant. I am satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: Out of all the estimates that I received for a new HVAC system, it was clear to me that Dulin Mechanical was the best. Their estimate was very similar to the other business that I contacted. My biggest reason I went with Dulin was because of the time that Joey Dulin took with me to discuss what would be the best system for my lifestyle and energy efficiency. He checked out my old system thoroughly and took pictures so that he could show me what my main problems were. We also discussed uneven air flow inside the house. I had my biggest problem in the master bedroom. He showed me an air duct that had been disconnected under the house, and said he could add another vent in the bedroom and connect the closed off duct to the vent. He was the only one out of all my other estimates that saw a problem that could be remedied. That was a definite selling point for me. The day of the installation, I was called to let me know that they were on their way. They arrived promptly, and completed the installation including adding the vent to my bedroom. Everyone that I have had contact with at Dulin, from Joey Dulin, himself, to the installation crew, and the office, have all been exceptionally professional and courteous. All the paper work, rebates, appointments, etc. were taken care of for me, so that I have had to nothing but sit back and enjoy my new relationship with Dulin Mechanical.

Description of Work: Installed a 2.5 ton Trane AC/Furnace...This is the second time I've had to replace a system. The first was upstairs - last year, and this month we did the downstairs unit. Both times we've had numerous quotes submitted and both times Dulin came in with a much better price. The system upstairs included redoing all of my duct work - up and down. This time it was just the system. | |On the first install we had to go back and fix a few air leaks, and make some adjustments to the amount of return, but that could happen with any company. Dulin did it without a fuss, no extra charge - they made sure we had everything working the way we wanted it. | |This install was much easier - but everything is great on both systems and we saved a ton of money. They guys on site were friendly to my family and allowed my sons to observe the work. Joey Dulin was easy to get in contact with when needed, and their site manager Steve was excellent to work with. | |I would highly recommend going to them on your next HVAC replacement project!
