Performed operation without much aggrevation. It went quite smoothly and finished before estimated time. Cleaned up well after completion.

I had been interested in getting a mini-split system installed and had previously looked at the Samsung unit, because it was rated as a 20 SEER. With the stimulus tax credit plan in place now, I learned that one of the small Samsungs qualified for a 30% credit. This apparently isn't a widely used brand locally, but I was able to get a few dealer names from the distributor- and then checked these out on Angie's list. I received a quick response and quote from PJ, and we set up the installation date. The installation went very smoothly- and included a new dedicated electric line run from the main panel. This was handled by Dulin's subcontractor and was done in an efficient and competent manner as well.

I had been given estimate previously by Dulin for installation of 2 Trane thermostats for $750. After some research I found Honeywell thermostats that were comparable and asked Jesse if they could install these. He gave me a date that they would come. He quoted price of $500 and said I could also use $35 off coupon from Angie's List. The only glitch was that no one called to confirm that they were coming and at what time. I called Dulin at 8 AM to confirm and Jesse told me Dustin would be at my house 8:30-9AM. Dustin came and installed the thermostats. One was defective so he quickly went out and came back immediately and had them up and working. If I purchased a $275 1 year (2 visit) maintenance agreement they would take 15% off the $500 thermostats, but would not let give me the additional $35 off coupon, which I think they should have because of how much I was spending (I love a bargain!). I decided to take the maintenance agreement because I knew I was going to be needing service in the coming year, and I was so happy with the job that Dustin did and how knowledgable he is.

It took them one day to complete the work and get our heat running. They came back and finished up the details in one more day and then after the inspector had a couple of issues they completed that in one day. We had one delay involving a new thermostat that revolved around a couple of mis-communications and in no way held up our use of heating/AC. They are all pleasant people, from the estimator to the installation crew. They do what they say when they say and are very professional. We have retained them for on-going maintenance on our old upstairs unit as well as the new downstairs unit.

The workers came on-time and worked diligently for two days removing old ductwork and the old units. The weather turned cold quickly here in Charlotte and the company was able to come to our rescue and in record time install our heating system. Our air conditioner still worked but was very old so we decided to replace that as well. We received several quotes from other companies but none came close to the quote we received from Dulin Mechanical. We are are so pleased we chose this company, they are very professional and they do outstanding work!

This is the kind of company you want to come out and service your HVAC; on time, professional and courteous. Dustin took apart the air handler and checked it thoroughly. They did the same for the heat pump. Gave us good advice, but never tried to sell us anything - or tell us to replace anything. He gave us a truthful report that the system is working well and that we didn't need to worry, just keep getting it checked. Gave good advice on how to relocate a few lines in the basement. We'll have them out to do that next year.

The gentleman who came out seemed to know what he was talking about. He did find some minor problems that I was not aware of. He found some mold in the air blower. He was very helpful.

They seem to be very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had about the units. They were very friendly and professional. They always do a good job.

Absolutely fabulous. We were very frustrated with the situation. Joey promised they would fix the problem, and they did in a timely manner.

When we moved into our house we got the home inspected. One of the things the inspector noticed was a "squill" in the A/C unit. Since the unit was still under the builder's warranty (new home) we called up Dulin Mechanical and they came out to diagnose the problem. They confirmed that the compressor was faulty and that it needed to be repaired. Since the work was covered under the builder's warranty, we did not even have to pay a deductible. They came out two days later with the new compressor and replaced the old one. Our A/C has been running fine since then. Dulin was excellent, professional, and responded to calls/questions in a timely manner. I'll definitely be calling them for future service on our Heating and A/C systems.

Before he came out, Rob called to let me know that he was on his way -- which I really appreciated. He was friendly, professional and courteous. He took the time to explain how everything works. He answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was silly for asking. He explained what was wrong with our unit and suggested that we might want to replace it. He talked to me about some of the options and asked if we would be interested in having someone to come out for an estimate. There was no pressure and no hassle! Also worth mentioning -- they were considerate enough to try to work-in my appointment so that everything would be finished by the time I needed to pick up my child from preschool.

I had both their project manager as well as the owner of the company come out to my house. They do Geothermal as well as HVAC. They were very polite, very professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. I thought they knew more than anybody else I'd had come out. I'm strongly considering using their service. They always got back with me in a timely fashion. Their proposal was very neatly done.

I called Dulin (along with several other vendors) to get an estimate to replace a 30 year old, badly corroded air handler. Their project manager, PJ Raulerson came the next morning and examined my entire system. He explained how the system worked described the Trane equipment, gave me quotes on various combinations of different models, and the advantages and disadvantages of each. His approach was very forthright and no pressure. After reviewing his quotes(and others from other vendors) I called PJ with some questions and, upon receiving satisfactory answers decided to go with Dulin, and to go with a new heat pump and thermostat as well as the air handler. We scheduled the installation and the installers (Dan and Dan) showed up right on time and proceeded to do the work. They seemed very friendly, competent, and industrious and completed removal of the old equipment and the installation of the new by early afternoon. The electrician then completed the electrical work and I had a new, operating system by 4:30 P.M. The area was left clean and orderly. After everyone left, I realized that I had some questions regarding the new thermostat and the air filter in the new air handler. I called PJ and he came to the house the next morning and resolved the thermostat questions and scheduled a tech service person to look at the filter. The Tech Service person, Chance, was there the next morning and, upon examining the installation, he and I agreed that there were no problems. The Mecklenburg County code inspector checked the installation and commented that it "was a very nice job." My experience with Dulin was excellent! PJ did a great job as well as the installation team. I would certainly recommend Dulin to anyone who wants excellent customer service and installation at a fair price.

The quote was very competitive. The installers showed up on time and finished the work according to plan. They were very responsive throughout the process. We are very satisfied customers and would recommend them to others.

We really were very pleased with the experience. When we called to request an estimate for replacing our system, Dulin sent over a very nice project manager who carefully sized up our house and thoroughly explained our options. Later, while we were still trying to reach a decision about what we wanted to install, I contacted them several times with questions about various system configurations. Each time my questions were answered thoroughly and cheerfully. When we finally decided to go with their system, they were able to respond very quickly, scheduling the installation at a time that would be convenient for us and completed all of the work in two days, just like they promised. The quality of the work was excellent, and the system that they sold us (a hybrid heat pump/gas furnace model with an electronic air cleaner) is spectacular. Weeks after the installation was completed, the project manager called me to make sure that we were happy with the system, and that I had received the manufacturer's rebate without any trouble. I really appreciated that follow up.

They were very nice. Their price was very competitive, definitely grabbed our attention. The quality of their work was great and we have not had any problems with it yet.

I was very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism, and integrity - the technician provided some suggestions on how to prevent the issue rather than try to sell me something, which was very refreshing! I will definitely call them first in future!

Due to a cancellation, they were able to install the unit within 2 days. All members of their team were professional, punctual and left the premises nice and tidy.

The work was scheduled for one day but instead took three days because Dulin decided to replace the entire supply ducts instead of wrapping them. Although we were not happy about the time delay and the increase in noise volume due to the increase in system tonnage, Dulin made up for the inconvenience and gave us the top of the line thermostat as an upgrade and checked out the increase in noise volume thoroughly. Overall we are very happy with the system and Dulin's service commitment.

When I called Dulin, the female who answered was very professional and friendly. She was very helpful and informed. I scheduled the service a couple of days ahead of time because I was heading out of town. I could have had them come sooner. On the day of service, Dustin called me and told me he had finished a job early and asked if he could arrive earlier. Dustin listened carefully to my concerns, he went up in the extremely hot attic and returned rather quickly with a diagnosis. He told me the drain was clogged and asked me how often I changed my filters. I told him every 3 months, he gave me a "lecture" (not really) on changing them on a monthly basis. He showed me where one of the dirty filters had been almost sucked into the intake. He cleaned and blew out the line, cleaned the drain and cleaned up after. Dustin was polite, respectful and professional. I felt bad for the kid because he had been bitten by a dog from an earlier call. I was horrified, but he just laughed about it and said everything would be OK. Hope this guy gets hazardous duty pay! Seriously, it was a great experience and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone.

We bought a foreclosed house in Charlotte just at the beginning of the June heat wave and a day after someone stole the outside A/C unit! Dulin quoted us a great price for replacing the unit so we asked them to check out the whole system, including replacing the A/C unit and furnace, replacing the 2nd floor ducting, and installing a dual flow system with new thermostats on 1st and 2nd floor. They did this work very promptly and professionally, and (very helpfully!) arranged zero interest financing. They were a pleasure to work with and we are delighted with the system they installed.

It went great! I did extensive research prior to purchasing my units. Joey was very helpful speaking to me about my options when I considered a geothermal system. Ultimately that proved too expensive and not physically feasible. At that point, Landon took over and helped me price and compare various SEER ratings and combinations of system set-ups. This helped me be confident in my decision, that what I was purchasing was the most economically and environmentally advantageous. We had many of their people at our house over the course of a month and all were professional, neat and courteous. I highly recommend them and would use them again for future work (but pray I don't need any for quite a while!).

I called Dulen to look at the AC of an investment property I was planning on purchasing. They were able to schedule me in within 2 hrs. That was just great. They came right on time and checked the AC and found couple of loose wires which they fixed right on the spot. I even got $35 off because of Angie's List coupon. I am very pleased with their service.

I have used Dulin for years. Yet again, I was not disappointed in their quality of service. They serviced my A/C and replaced a computer board and their cost actually came in under the estimate. Their techs are friendly, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy.... (they are "good people"). You cannot beat these folks for their honesty and business practices.
