I have used them before but I found them initially through Angie's List. I really like them. We have used them several times now and they are always very professional. They do a good job compared to others we have used and they tend to have better prices too.

On a Monday, I scheduled Dulin Mechanical Svcs for a service call and maintenance for home air conditioning. and was given a Wednesday morning appointment. By Wednesday morning my air conditioner fan motor had completely died. The service rep ordered a new motor and scheduled to return Thursday morning to install it. When he went to install the new motor, he found it impossible to remove the old fan from the old motor. Dulin then ordered a new fan to be brought from Greensboro, and the service rep returned later that same day to install the new motor with the new fan. I was impressed that they could get a new fan delivered from Greensboro and finish the job that same day. The service rep was professional, prompt, and knew his business. I would recommend Dulin Mechanical to anyone, and will certainly give them my repeat business.

They workers who came to do the service were very nice and cleaned up before they left. I also got a year of free maintenance.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE from beginning to end. At 8:00am on 7/18/2012, we utilized our Angie's List membership and found Dulin. We were overwhelmed with the level of professionalism, respect, service, and help. The service person, Rick, called to let us know that he was able to service our A/C unit 1 hours ahead of schedule. He diagnose our A/C problem within seconds and fixed it within minutes. We are l o v i n g Rick. We also have to mention the price to fix the unit was cheaper than the cost of Anderson's service contract. Our infant son can sleep comfortably tonight based on such superior service. Exceptional service is NOT dead. Bless the name of Jesus!! Our service contract with Dulin will start immediately.

Dan showed up right on time at the beginning of the scheduled window. He was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He tested and worked on the condenser unit outside first. After adding coolant, cleaning the coils, and testing the capacitor he went into the attic and inspected that part of the system. It took a little over an hour to do it all and the whole time he communicated what he was doing and answered all of my questions. I used this company because of the recommendations on this site. I am very satisfied. The reviews are accurate. This is a company that cares about customers. Thanks!

When I arrived home, the AC was running and it was hot. Since I just moved to Charlotte, I went to Angie's list to find an AC company. I chose Dulin Mechanical Services and the technician called me back immediately. He said he had 3 other customers waiting before me. I told Dan that I just started a new job yesterday and I can't sleep when it is hot and I can't call in sick and I have 5 dogs at home that I need AC in the house. Dan came out right away and put refrigerant in the AC for which I am really grateful since the AC in the house I just bought is from 1997! I am so happy that I chose Dulin Mechanical because of their outstanding service and helping me when I needed help right away. You need to call Dulin Mechanical for your AC needs. You won't be disappointed. Dan, the technician, was very knowledgeable about his business and answered all my questions. This is a company you can trust.

I originally had gone with a different company for a Spring Service Deal on Angie?s.When they completed they stated there were issues with our system and that it would need to be replaced for 4-6k.They were supposed to call us back to discuss options and we never heard from them again, which happened to be very fortuitous. Went back to Angie?s to choose someone to look at our system and chose Dulin Mechanical Services after reading the reviews. Called at 8am and they were at the house at 10am same day. Tech stated he believed our issue was loose caps on valves and recharged system. $238 after he reminded me that, as an Angie?s list member, its $35 off of repairs. He reviewed additional scenarios if future problems occurred, none by the way included replacement. I have had Arctic Air for about 3 weeks now with no other issues. It is great to have our upstairs colder than it has ever been.Would definitely recommend.

They're a very intelligent and respectful group to work with. Everyone was fantastic. Their price and quality of work were excellent. I would use this services again in the future.

Excellent! Joey Dulin came out for the estimate. He thoroughly inspected the roof unit (it's a condo) and the interior mechanisms and offered several choices. Their price was a little lower than the other estimate, and I know the company from several years of heat pump maintenance. Installers arrived exactly on time and they dealt with all the details. It's always nice when installers know what they are doing and are prepared for what they find at the site. They did. They finished early that same afternoon, tested the unit, and cleaned up thoroughly. A few days later I found that it was hard to change the filter in the new unit and I called Dulin. Next day two technicians came out and moved the unit and re-plumbed the condensate drain line with a smaller overflow alarm. It's exactly as I wanted. Dulin is great at making everything trouble free. They filed with Duke Energy for an energy rebate for me (the unit qualifies), and they also submitted a rebate coupon for me to the manufacturer. Everything works fine and I'm looking forward to at least another ten years without problems.

The techs that came out were great people and worked with me as much as possible to cut costs and fixed the unit.

It was fine. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

This is a great company. The overall experience from start to finish was terrific. I have a very old heat pump and have been dreading the day it decides to keel over. So, as life would have it, at a very inconvenient financial time, the compressor outside started to make some very scary noises and the fan would stop spinning periodically. Dreading the concept, I started the process of calling around. Thanks to Angie's list, I found this company after calling a couple others; one of which could not come down from Charlotte to York County for a week, and another who was trying to convince me on the phone without even seeing the system that I needed to replace it. My next call was to Dulin. I spoke with Lisa who was both very professional and very friendly, a rare commodity these days. She was able to schedule me for the following day with a time frame of between 2 to 4 o'clock (call me a cynic, but I was highly suspicious of that being the case but went along pretending to believe her because she was so nice). So low and behold the next day, as I sit on my couch waiting for the time I think will arrive much later, I get a call at around 3:30 from a very polite Andre letting me know that he will be there shortly. Upon his arrival, I explain my problem with appropriate sound effects and my current tale of woe regarding my financial situation while Andre listens politely. Of course once again the cynic in me is thinking he's just listening until he can say the dreaded words of "you need a new heat pump". So we turn on the air conditioner and Andre listens intently while I'm doing financial calisthenics in my head and coming up with squat. Then Andre tells me that it is the fan motor and he's not sure if he can replace it because the system is so old, but he will check to see. So, while he goes back to his van to check, I get out my trusty computer to search the "internets" for my model number in a desperate attempt to stave off the inevitable. However, before I even have a chance to adequately get Google warmed up, Andre comes back telling me that he can replace the part and tells me he can do this for around $650 total; which is much better than the replacement of the compressor that would probably run about $2,000 ++ or heat pump that would be $5,000++. After enduring me proclaim about how much I loved him, Andre proceeded to replace the fan motor in the matter of around 45 minutes or so (it went pretty fast but that just could have been my elation). After he was done, Andre explained to me that I really needed to clean out the coils, and he would be happy to do it for me for $99 if I wanted. I, of course, refused due to financial issues. Andre then was kind enough to explain to me how to do this and how often to do this. He also suggested I do it soon because it was pretty dirty.(As a side note, I have to admit that although taking the thing apart to clean it wasn't too bad, putting it back together took me longer than it took Andre to replace the motor. I think they may design it that way on purpose, which really p***** me off. So, if you can afford it and don't need to curse a lot, you may want to shell out the 99 bucks). But anyway, one he was done, the compressor purred like it was brand new and it's still going strong 5 days later... I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will last me until I save up enough money for a new one. One other thing that I need to mention that impressed me was that while figuring out the bill, Andre was kind enough to remind me that since I was an Angie's list member I could use the coupon for $35 off of repairs... is that great or what?? So overall, I have to say this was the best home repair episode I have had, and would recommend this company to anyone and everyone. Thanks to both Dulin and Angie's List (and especially Andre and Lisa) for such a great experience!

They gentleman that come out were very courteous, neat, and clean. They left my place spotless. One of the supervisors came out during the installation to make sure everything was going well. After the installation they even came back out to make sure it was functioning properly. I felt that this was going above and beyond. Overall I was very happy with their service.

The first time we used them last year they only charged us for the part and not the service call since we elected to go on contract with them. They come out twice a year to check the vents, clean the system, etc. They do an excellent job for a good price and the service guys are nice.

Overall the service was great. To call for service on a weekend and receive service and repairs so fast was great. In addition to the repairs I requested a Preventative Maintenance Agreement on both of my A/C units which I signed. I have already told a couple of my friends about Dulin Mech.

The serviceman arrived on time and was extremely punctual and professional from the beginning. He described in detail what the basic maintenance package consisted of and what specific tasks he was going to perform that day at my house. He was very respectful of my personal property - leaving my backyard cleaner than he found it (wound up a garden hose I had out, put up a lawn chair that was askew). He also asked for my permission to use water or electrical or whatever he needed for the job - which many other repair personnel who have come to my house from other companies have not. He kept me up to date through every step of the maintenance and repair. He also did not try to sell my anything that I did not need - parts, warranties, etc. - simply did the job that I requested and did it well.

I got them off Angie's List. I would recommend them.

The entire team were efficient, clean, polite, ontime. Looking to use Joey and his team for a whole house air filtration system in the next few weeks. Worked out the contract with Joey on a Wednesday and the team was ready to install on Thursday morning @ 8AM. Took longer than expected but was quite o.k. with this as I wanted to make sure everything was done properly since I was replacing a 1 year old Carrier Heat Pump on a new house which is only 1 year old. They checked airflow, balanced the system, had a couple of issues with the new XL950 TSTAT but they were able to resolve everything. This was done in Huntersville, NC. Some reason Angie's List is not having my correct address location.

I called them today, but they charged me for the visit and they came out and tightened something. My experience has been good. The guy repaired the upstairs and its working. I don't know about the price because I didn't do any research on it. I trust Angie's List and I found him through Angie's List. He's good.

They came in and gave me the best price. They scheduled the installation and came out quickly. I don’t know if it was because they sent a new installer but they messed up with the drainage. That caused major water damage to the house. However, after the damage, they came out; they identified the problem and took care of it. They did all the repairs. The water had leaked through the upstairs where the unit was, through the downstairs ceiling. They did everything to fix the problem. That was good. However, it did take a long time. I had to continually call them and make sure that things were getting done. Their price was good. They did everything that they said they were going to do, even though there was a mistake. They were good in terms of coming through and making sure that everything was okay, even thought it took longer than expected. Since, they fixed everything, I can see using them in the future, but I was not a hundred percent pleased.

They were very prompt. Their price was a little bit higher. It is broken again. We would probably use them again.

They wre quick, easy, and responsible. It was a wonderful experience.

Our old system was inefficient and starting to have problems that were costing us money. I called three different Heat/Air companies and got three estimates for a new system. From start to finish, Dulin was thorough and professional. Joey Dulin came to the house and looked at the space. Our old system provided almost no heating or cooling in our bonus room. Joey came up with a plan to bring more air to the room, suggested a cover for our obsolete attic van to minimize energy loss, and recommended an attic tent for our stairs. He gave me a written estimate while still at my house and explained three different options to me. The crew was prompt and worked efficiently. Installation took 2 days. A few days after installation, I called Joey to report that I thought the humidity was a little high. He sent someone out that day to tweak the system and bring down the humidity. His plan for the bonus room worked so well I feel like I added a room on to my house. We can actually use the room now without sweating for freezing! When we need a system downstairs, I'll definitely call Dulin again.

I have used them in the past and the cost and service were good. Prior service was with me present to discuss what was wrong and the work, this one was with my wife at home. Not sure if that makes a difference in the cost of repairs or not. However, the cost for adding refrigerant seemed really high compared to prior work I have had done (about 3x the cost). I made an appointment for a quote on a new system for the next week(earliest available time). They arrived on time and discussed the options. He stated he would email me the estimate. No estimate was ever received. I contacted them after a couple weeks and got no response. I guess they have enough business that they didn't need the sale.
