I CALLED DULIN- HARRISBURG LOCATION ON 10 APRIL FOR TUNEUP/NEW THERMOSTAT. AC NOT WORKING DO TO FAULTY THERMOSTAT. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED AT 0830 TODAY AND PUT THE NEW THERMOSTAT IN, CHANGED MEDIA FILTERS AND PERFORMED TUNEUP. SYSTEM WORKING GREAT WHEN HE LEFT. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, EFFICIENT AND POLITE. WOULD DEFINATELY USE AGAIN. I HAD A ANGIES COUPON- SO ONLY PAID $25 TO HAVE THERMOSTAT INSTALLED .

We are extremely pleased with all aspects of our experience with Dulin Mechanical Services, Inc. Owner, Joey Dulin, is very knowledgeable, personable and conscientious as are all of his employees that we worked with. Dulin Mechanical worked with our schedule over a three month time period while we were having work done by various contractors that had to be coordinated - they were always there on their scheduled day. They do quality work and it is very apparent that customer satisfaction is very important to them. Mr Dulin and his service techs went the extra mile to get the two touchpad controls set up with our wireless network and Nexia Home Intelligence as well as teach us how to use them. We value the relationship that we have established with this excellent company and plan to use Dulin Mechanical Services for all our HVAC work in the future.

The technicians came on time and they were very respectful and nice. They put shoe covers on so they wouldn't track any dirt. They explained everything they were doing in detail so I understood. I would recommend to anyone.

Things went very good over all. I purchase my electronic filters online and he installs them at no charge. So far no problems with the system.

The technician arrived promptly and correctly diagnosed the problem. We were then quoted an outrageous price and I had to call the office to discuss the price. An adjustment was made and although the price was still much higher than it should have been we proceeded to have the work completed rather than having to call another service provider.

We were very satisfied with Dulin's services. The technicians arrived on-time and were very professional and courteous.

Crew of 2 arrived on time for a routine winter tune up. Checked & cleaned outdoor (heat pump) & indoor unit in approx 45 minutes. Found no problems. Spent $64 on service call with Angie's List coupon for $35 off, and purchased 1 year/2 visit contract for $175.

They are very professional and have great follow through. They stand behind the quality of their work and have always been very thorough.

Responded quickly and was at my house in no time. He check all pressures, pipes, fittings, etc. Identifed the fresh air pipe being blocked and fixed.

we called Dulin, and from what wedescribed over the phone, they had a good idea of the problem. they had someone they sent over immediately between calls. He determined the part that was the issue, went and got it and and he had the whole thing fixed and running in 30 minutes and we havent had a problem since.

It was a very pleasant experience, and it's good to know that anytime I have a heating or air problem, I know who to call.

Joe Dulin responed to my inquiry quickly and was very helpful. His estimate was about $1000.00 lower than the others. I was very pleased with his crews and their professionalism. I will use them again for future tune ups etc.

I contacted three companies to give me estimates on a new system. Dulin was the most affordable for a top quality Trane system. Joey explained all the options good, better, best and informed me of the Trane and Duke power rebates available. In addition, he even gave me a $250 discount for being an Angie's List member. The install went fine and after about a week I kept hearing a whistling noise when the heat would come on. Dulin immediately sent someone out and explained because it was a higher efficiency heater than I had before they needed to add another vent to solve the problem. They added it at no charge and were eager to make me satisfied with the new system. I like working with a small company where you don't have a different person come every time they send someone to your house. Great experience.

Joey Dulin is honestly one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Unfortunately, Dulin Mechanical is an example of a very good small business that has grown beyond what their infrastructure can handle. While Joey and his team are very knowledgable about their field, we felt the estimates and timelines were grossly underestimated - In order to recoup some of their lost time due to poorly scoping out the work, we ended up receiving double labor charges on other services that clearly had not taken as long as purported. Joey is clearly too busy to have a real handle on the work his staff is performing, his project manager Steve, was rarely available. It's with conflicting emotions that I share our concerns, as we recognize Joey and his team very much wanted to make things right before leaving the job. That said, for a service that was initially supposed to take two days, the work ended up being almost three weeks before completion. Even with the additional ductwork we added to the scope of work, this was grossly misjudged. Had we actually needed to live in the home during this time, we would have been without heat for much of the time. We continued to experience heat issues in the home for a week before one of the service men realized a larger gas line had never been ordered. This was a basic request that was never scheduled for whatever reason, so it was difficult to properly test much of the work that had been done. All in all, we were very grateful for the Trane financing offer that allowed us 5 years at 0% interest, and thank Joey for making the financing possible. That said, due to their poor planning, I had to drive to meet their office manager to sign paperwork on the day their deadline occured. Given that we had been at the home every day, this could have been a smoother transaction. Two of Joey's staff, Derrick and Andy were tremendously helpful - very great to work with, and we are very grateful for their support during what was, at times, a frustrating experience. Honestly, given their knowledge of our home's many quirks, we'd likely use them again.

It went very well. The technician arrived on time. He started on the inside of the house (putting on shoe covers to keep the carpet clean). After servicing the unit in the attic, he serviced the unit in the crawl space.

I will absolutely recommend Dulin Mechanical to every neighbor I have! And as for that other well known company I used for the last 13 years...never again will they get a dime from me.

When I moved to this brand new house, the A/C system downstairs gave me trouble. The A/C was under warranty, yet that company (not Dulin) did not properly fix the problem. I grew to mistrust them more and more (especially when I had the ducts cleaned out and they found all kinds of junk in there, including fast food containers (drinks and food). This (bad) company had told me I needed a new compressor, but I didn't trust them. I explained the situation to Dulin and they sent out a very professional person who checked everything out and attempted to seal the unit (the Freon leak was not obvious) and filled it will Freon. Unfortunately, that was not successful, so they sent someone out again (at no charge) to make sure the A/C was at least operational. The A/C become non-operational after a couple of months and Dulin delivered the bad news - the unit would need to be replaced. They filled it with Freon which lasted for the remainder of the hot weather, and I have a reasonable quote for a new A/C unit. Though I have not had it installed yet, I trust Dulin and will almost certainly get them to replace the A/C unit before next years hot weather!

The serviceman arrived on time and did a complete inspection of the equipment. He explained in detail what he found and make valid recommendations. I would use this company again.

They were the lowest quote out of 6 I received for the job so I gave the work to them. They showed up on time and started work. The technician couldn't get the replacement board to work and came to found out the parts house had given them the wrong board. You could tell by the technicians reaction that it was the parts house. He left and said that he wouldn't charge me for the visit because of the issue. They ordered the correct part, came and switched it out and everything works fine.

We received a very throrough quote and were given an awesome price on our systems that we replaced. The workers were very professional and didn't make a mess! I would recommend their service!

Existing Goodman units were 10 years old, and were installed by the builder. I am the original owner, and pampered these systems from Day 1 knowing they were not great quality. These units were starting to "nickel and dime" me. aka $200 to $500 repairs every time a service tech came for a routine service. Last visit in July was a $350.00 capacitor and the warning that the compressor could go any day now a $2,000 to $3,000 repair... So we bit the bullet and started shopping. The incumbent HVAC company (large well known, lots of TV commercials) came in and did a "wink and Nod" type inspection, proposed replacing just the AC portion of my main unit with a Comfortmaker 13 Seer unit for a "mere" $8,800. !! The entire process, did not "smell"right. Next step, and best $30.00 bucks I ever spent, Joined Angie's List ! In about 30 minutes, I zeroed in on Dulin Mechanical. I was impressed by their qualifications on the Trane Corporate web site, and the dozens of reviews by customers spending a lot of $$$ on their projects. Joey came out next week, and performed a very extensive inspection. His expertise was impressive. Here is a guy that has passion for his profession, and enjoys redesigning the ductwork in the house to maximize the owners comfort. (A Trane Comfort Specialist) He researched the feasibility of replacing the two smaller systems, with a single "monster" 5 ton -16 SEER trane system. He gave me the green light, proposed a redesigned ductwork system to improve the airflow and save energy by running a single larger more efficient unit vs. 2 smaller has beens. The cost just $700.00 more than the other guys partial replacement! We went full speed ahead, got a $250.00 Angie's List coupon, 60 month 0% interest Trane Loan. 8/31 we had 6 guys show up. They jumped right in removed the two old units, and almost all the ductwork. They were here almost 10 hours that day, but by 5:00pm the new unit was humming along quietly and cooled us down quickly! I would recommend Dulin for any home or business owner without hesitation. They are honest, and committed to excellence. I would also highly recommend to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their system to get at least three quotes. It is amazing the differences in skill, training, and expense between HVAC companies. I'd used Dulin before and called them out after confirming that they still had strong ratings here on Angies List. I e-mailed Dulin thru the Angies List website on a Monday, got a call back within a couple hours and was on their schedule for first thing Wednesday for an 8-10am service window. Their tech Rick called around 8:30am to clarify my address (our neighborhood is almost 8 yrs old but still not on many GPS systems for some reason) and was onsite by 9:15am. He took time to listen to my concerns, ask some questions to make sure he understood my goals for the ending air balance and then got to work. He took time to explain what he found as the present state of the air balance and was patient with me to fine-tune the balancing to get the air flow to each room to just the right level. He even took the time to help me label the duct work and point out the damper locations for each zone so I could make future adjustments on my own. Start to finish I was pleased with Dulin, from the initial callback to the completion of the job.

They sent a guy out who was messed up on drugs or something. He could not even find our house, and he was parked in front of it. He comes in and we just wanted him to leave because he was so messed up. I called Dulin, and they sent another guy out. They were okay, but they really did not fix the problem. We ended up calling the gas company who came out to fix the problem. I would absolutely not recommend them.

After he left, I looked up a replacement part on the web and found a local supplier that had the exact same part for $21 plus tax. I called Dulin back up and told them as much and asked if they would reduce the $162.00 price of the capicitor they were going to order to something a little more reasonable. They basically said, "nope, that's the price". I told them to cancel the order and that they could come back and get their temporary part. I went over to the parts place on Monroe Rd., paid less than $23 and put the capictor on in 4 minutes. I never heard from again. The only two positives I can say are that they came on time and got my A/C unit working within 30 minutes. The 700% part markup was ridiculous.

Both of our hvac systems effectively died on 7/24/2012 and the timing was not great (in terms of weather AND finances hah hah). We quickly got three quotes from A-rated Angie's List contractors and made a decision. Dulin had the most competitive combination of scope and pricing, and they were able to schedule an installation the next week. The Dulin crew showed up at 8am sharp on 7/31 and got to work. They were friendly and professional. By 4pm they had the downstairs unit replaced and working. They showed up at 8am sharp again on 8/1 and had the upstairs unit replaced and working by the end of the day. They put protective tape strips down to protect our carpet and cleaned up when they were done. The county inspector came by on 8/13 and said everything looks great. Even though we bought the cheapest package Dulin quoted, they got the work done quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
