Ronnie, his son Ryan and brother Gary are all amazing. We first used them when we had an emergency back up in our basement and have used them for every plumbing repair since. They've done some major jobs for us- replacing the majority of our pipes in the basement (we live in an old house with cast iron pipes we replaced with PVC) and the line out to the street and small like changing out the fixtures in the shower. I think they are equally great at both. I feel very comfortable that they are doing the job right and have very reasonable pricing. They definitely go above and beyond- in explaining the issues, the options you have to fix it and getting it done right. They are also very professional so I feel 100% confident having them in my home.
Description of Work: Replaced sewage line to street, replaced piping in basement, replace shower hardware and added access box.

They were terrific. I had a terrible problem and they just took care of it with thoughtfulness. They took care of the technical part really well. They were careful of our landscape and shrub. They planted grass afterwards. There wasn't anything I would have liked them to do that they didn't do without asking. I thought the price was reasonable. They were timely and careful. They did exactly what they needed to do. The price was pretty good.

Called on Sat evening emergency. Promptly got a Sun morning appointment. Ronnie Parsons was on time and gave a call ahead to let us know he was on the way. He immediately went to work and solved the problem in just a few minutes. Very pleasant and professional. He was very concerned about helping his customers. We found him fair, honest and to be highly recommended.

Our basement bathroom stopped working, found out it was a broken sewage ejector system. They came out and checked the pump and said I needed a new one. I ordered one and they put it in. I am pleased with the service and our bathroom is working again with no problems.

My sewer line backed up into my basement, and we worked with multiple companies to diagnose and estimate the cost of fixing the underlying problem. Plumber #1 charged us to unclog the line, then left us with an estimate of $4500 to fix "a dip in the line" they thought had caused the clog. We then had Plumber #2 visit to prepare a competing estimate. Eight days later, while we still were waiting for the second estimate, the sewer line backed up AGAIN. I called Plumber #2 to escalate our case, and they finally told me they were not comfortable providing an estimate and already had called a different plumbing company on our behalf. I was a very unhappy camper by the time Ronnie and Ryan from Drain Express appeared, as they were the third plumbing company we'd dealt with in less than 2 weeks ... and they weren't even plumbers I got to choose! The Drain Express guys showed exactly when promised, ran a blade and camera through my line, and pulled out both once they encountered some resistance. Then they used a half-blade to get several feet farther down the line and ran the camera a second time. They found gravel, trash, and cement chunks in the line, used a detector to locate the corresponding spot above ground, then ran the camera back and forth several times until a much darker spot became obvious on the camera monitor. The darker spot turned out to be an old cleanout line, which apparently got uncapped or cut during 2002 street and sidewalk construction .... allowing debris to get in my line before the evidence was covered up with pavement. Ronnie and Ryan postponed another appointment long enough to be at my house when a city sewer crew arrived. They hung out still longer, until a city field operations supervisor came and verbally committed to replacing the buried cleanout and flushing the construction debris from our lateral sewer line to the main line. Once we had that promise from the city, Ronnie walked me through what to expect when the city did that replacement work over the next two weeks. He told me that we indeed had a "dip in the line" ... but he thought the "dip" would be a non-issue once the city did their repairs, and recommended no further action at this point. As far as I'm concerned, the guys at Drain Express now are my plumbers for life! They could have taken the easy way out like my first two plumbers, but were the only plumbing crew of the three companies I used in that ten-day period who went the extra mile to figure out the real problem and make sure I was not saddled with repair expenses that were not my responsibility. I give my highest recommendation to Drain Express!!!
Description of Work: Drain Express visited to unclog my sewer line, but ended up using snake blades and cameras to diagnose a problem that is the city's responsibility to fix.
Very pleased with how they approached our issues. Would highly recommend them!
Description of Work: Drain Express dug the front yard to locate our sewer line and water line. They installed new pipes for both and ensured the slope was corrected to allow for proper drainage. Additionally they investigated the pipes in our home (under the slab) and replaced a bad drain line. Wonderful job and so helpful!

Excellent service.
Description of Work: Excellent service! Ronnie came on time, on budget and fixed the drain problem quickly. Prior to that, he gave me suggestions to see if I could address the problem so I could save money, before enlisting his services. After the service, he gave helpful preventive measures on how to avoid having the problem again. Price and quality was better than expected. Will definitely recommend his service to anyone.

Ronnie was punctual, easy to work with, and took time to explain the problem and possible solutions. He kept cost in mind and was fair in his pricing. His price was lower than another quote, and Ronnie seemed to be much more knowledgeable. We had to move out during the work and have two small children. Ronnie worked quickly so we could get back into our house as soon as possible. I would recommend this company to others.

UPON SEARCHING FOR THE LEAK, WE SUGGESTED THAT THEY PUT IN A NEW LINE FROM THE METER TO THE HOUSE, RATHER THAN TEARING UP THE DRIVEWAY. IN THE COURSE OF SEARCHING, THEY ALSO TORE UP THE FLOWER BEDS AND SHRUBBERY, AND REMOVED A STUMP. THIS TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND HE NEVER FOUND THE LEAK. HE FINALLY DID AS I SUGGESTED AND DID THE BYPASS WITH A NEW COPPER LINE FROM THE STREET TO THE HOUSE AND EVEN MENTIONED THAT HE DID NOT NEED TO TEAR UP THE DRIVEWAY. AFTER ALL THE WORK WAS DONE, WE CONTINUED TO ASK FOR THE INVOICE, IN WHICH HE WAS UNWILLING TO PROVIDE. WE DID SEND A CHECK BECAUSE WE RECOGNIZED THAT HE DID WORK FOR US, AND HE SHOULD BE PAID. THIS DID GET A RESPONSE, IN WHICH HE SENT AN INVOICE OF $2,132.85 WITH THE RETURN CHECK. WE DID DO SOME RESEARCH AND LEARNED THAT THE AVERAGE COST FOR RUNNING THE LINE FROM THE METER TO THE HOUSE INLET IS BETWEEN $800-$1,000. WE ARE SIMPLY NOT WILLING TO PAY FOR THIS BECAUSE OF THE DAMAGE WE ARE STILL PAYING FOR AS A RESULT OF HIS WORK.
Description of Work: CONTRACTED HIM TO FIND A LEAK THAT WAS IN THE YARD.

LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR LATER, THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. I HAD A CLOGGED DRAIN. I HAD CALLED AROUND 11 IN THE MORNING, AND HE WAS ABLE TO COME THE NEXT DAY. HE TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY HAD SENT OUT 2 OTHER PLUMBERS FROM DIFFERENT COMPANIES THAT COULDN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I FOUND THIS ONE THROUGH MY GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
Description of Work: MY WASHING MACHINE WAS DRAINING INTO THE SHOWER IN THE BATHROOM.
