Description of Work: It did not go well with this contractor, Done by K. I called Eric, among others, to come out to my home for an estimate to renovate my deck. He had good reviews from previous customers and I also received a recommendation from a friend who was also friends with him. He showed up and checked things out and seemed very professional and indicated he would e-mail me his quote. After 7-days I had received everyone else's quotes but his. I called his mobile number listed on his business card and had to leave a message. Basically I related that if he had sent/e-mailed his quote over to me that I had not received it and to please call me and let me know what was going on with it. After another 6 days passed (Now at 13 total days with no response)I e-mailed him to give him one last opportunity to get his quote to me by the next day or that I would move on. Again I received no response and no quote. |So this morning I'm posting this review with the following comments regarding my experience. While he may be a good builder, he appears to be, at least in my experience, a low energy businessman. Or perhaps just too busy to take on my project. Whatever the case, if he did not want to do the job, that is okay; just do me the courtesy, pick up the phone and do the ethical thing and tell me and I'll move on. His manner of action or lack thereof leads me to believe that if this is how he treats a potential new customer them I am better off not to have gotten further involved with him.

Description of Work: Lisa came and cleaned my house. She did an excellent, thorough job, and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again.

+ 1 moreEric and his team are very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them and hire them on my next project.
Description of Work: Eric was very responsive when I requested a quote. He was the first one to arrive and go over all the things that I needed to get done at my home. His estimates were also very reasonable and acceptable. I had the interiors and exteriors painted, a couple of fence posts replaced, drywall repair, 20 ft high fixture replaced, door jam fixed etc.

+ 1 moreWe first contacted Eric @ Done by K for the door situation. We had messed up the frame and couldn't get the replacement door in so had a gaping hole. He was able to come out very quickly, given the situation, and the worked well past normal working hours to complete the job. He designed and built the replacement gate that was dragging and not locking. For the leak he came out twice as the first time the leak couldn't be detected (several days past last rain). His pricing is beyond reasonable, so reasonable I normally end up paying extra!
Description of Work: We've used Eric for three jobs so far and I'm getting ready to call him for a 4th. Eric and his crew replaced my front door (after a poor self-attempt), replaced the gate on my privacy fence and patched a small leak in my roof.

+ -1 moreResponded in timely fashion. Gave accurate quote. Discussed all options with me, from low cost to complete warranty service, and was honest about all of the pros and cons. Completed various projects on time and on budget. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I will use him again and again, for all my handyman needs.
Description of Work: Various small projects, from installing quarter rounds to replacing various ceiling and attic fans, in addition to other small projects such as caulking and sealing.
