I wasn't real happy about the guy that did the work here.  He was okay, but he left a bit of a mess, and it's little things, like some of the parts that he used left on the floor, scattered about.  And all of the stuff that he replaced he threw in my recycling bin, which meant that I couldn't empty the bin in the house.  That kind of annoyed me because I know normally, contractors will take their stuff to the dump.  That annoyed me.  I won't use him for that.  And one of the other things was, originally he was coming to relocate electrical for my washing machine and we didn't do that.  We ended up deciding against doing it, but I got charged for it anyway.  So that annoyed me.  It's just that the $150 bothers me; that's dishonest.  I wish I could say all good, but it just annoyed me; it just did.  I did have two that were a little bit cheaper; I went with him because I just had a good feeling about what he knows.  When we set the price, when I was about ready to make the check I kind of detected a hesitance, which later on I realized he was going to probably say, oh well we didn't do such and such, but he didn't do it.  My feeling is it was on his mind, so yes, we have to be concerned about honesty.  I know a lot of people would do that, but I know I've dealt with people that were absolutely up front and honest, and so I'm making my assessment on top quality, and so I take it from there.

Maynard is joy to work with - he's calm, professional, flexible and efficient - he worked seamlessly with my other contractors, despite delays/issues caused by others.  He also has a nice aesthetic eye and is experienced with high-end designers, bring that experience into each job, ensuring beautiful lighting placement.   Maynard is also exceptionally patient - he willingly assembled a multi-tiered crystal chandelier impeccably.

He is also willing to take on small jobs - he has come to the house on short notice (on the weekend if needed) to perform small repairs for me.

Maynard arrived on time. Completed the work promptly and then went above and beyond to help solve a 15 year issue that no other electrician was willing to tackle. He got on 30' ladders, crawled through the attic and crawl space to locate and service the problems. He also offered to change all the outdoor flood lights to ensure all were operating properly and connected to the right switch. I would highly recommend Maynard and will certainly use him for all of my electrical needs.

Maynard was very professional. Showed up on time and performed all duties in a timely manner. I am very pleased. I think his pricing was very fair and I would definitely use him again should I need any electrical work performed. I would recommend him to anyone who wants great service at an awesome price!

I was satisfied. They exampled everything before doing the work. The price was right in line with the market rate. I am happy. I haven't had any problems with the work since.

Maynard solved the "puzzle" with a logical diagnostic approach.  The hard part was figuring out what was wrong, the repairs were relatively straightforward.  Maynard also pointed out some issues with the external wiring that will need to be addressed at some future time.
Maynard was responsive (came 2 days after contact) and punctual.  I found his fee to be very reasonable.  I will definitely use him again for electrical work.
