Decorating Den Interiors

The service turned out great. We were really happy with them. The decorator that came in to do just the windows, also provided tips on decorating and she did that at no charge.

Carolyn is my kitchen fairy godmother. My kitchen had won second place in an ugliest kitchen contest at a local home improvement store. And after a couple of epic failures picking paint colors and contracting with the wrong people, I hired Carolyn to help me. Carolyn designed my draperies and my tile backsplash. She chose flooring, granite countertops, and draperies all according to my taste. She found the perfect light fixtures, faucet, and sink. She helped pick the paint colors and the type of trim work that would work best in the project areas, which included the kitchen, the breakfast dining area, the laundry room, and a hallway. I described to her what I wanted and she did the rest. It saved me from going store to store. She also helped find some of the contractors who executed her design. Carolyn was so down to earth and personable, and when things got stressful as they sometimes do during a home improvement project, she was very soothing. Everything she did turned out so perfect that I feel like Cinderella in a castle now.

From beginning to end, the redecorating project with Carolyn was wonderful. She was always on time as were her Independent Contractors. Carolyn watched the budget and used as much of my existing furniture as possible. Carolyn suggests colors, designs and styles, she doesn't make you use her selection. If you don't like something, that's not offensive at all to her!! Carolyn will find something you do like. I had a lot of fun working with her. When it comes time for her to reveal the completed room to you, just wait. It's just like on TV. I cried!! I still look around my room and think how ingenious she was in arranging the furniture and selecting the particular momentos for the shelves out of the dozens I have. I couldn't have done a better job!
