+ 0 moreFrom the moment I walked in I knew I had the right place. Sales person I worked with Rebecca was great. I told her what I wanted and she gave me a quote using my measurements which was great. After she measured it was a little cheaper than the original estimate. Installer arrived on time and completed the job in one day. One small problem was followed up on and correctly promptly without any hassle whatsoever. There are multiple Carpet One franchises in the area. Make sure you locate DECOR Carpet One. One of the others I tried and that experience was not good at all.
Description of Work: Installed new carpeting in my entire upstairs.

+ -1 moreFirst, this review is belated, so my apologies to the staff at Decor Corp. Totally professional staff from the Rep to the installers. Very pleased with Decor's followup to my slow selection of tile to the actual installation date. They persevered through my 'getting it right' and corresponded back each time I sent them requests for information. That gave me time to check out their work, get referrals, and get a good feel for what other installers were charging. Their professionalism coupled with the best price hands down, made choosing Decor Corp as my installer really a no brainer decision. One item of note: other installers charged by the square foot ordered, while Decor Corp only charged by the square foot actually installed -so that in itself made a small difference between bidding companies. The process was easy, the installation went smooth, the installers communicated as they progressed, and we couldn't have been happier with the time it took to schedule, complete, and are totally satisfied with the tile installation. The installers did a remarkable job, and the Rep made a special trip to deliver a transition piece, so the job could be completed in contiguous fashion. There were no surprises other than being awed with our new tile flooring! We were totally pleased with our experience with Decor Corp and would not hesitate to utilize their services in the future. Highly recommend their services!

+ 0 moreThe installation of the carpeting was ok. The installation of the wood flooring was average at best.
Description of Work: Decor Corporation is the sub-contractor for Pulte Homes of Charlotte, Inc. at Sun City Carolina Lakes development. They install hardwood and carpeting on slab or base wood floors. While the flooring work in the models at Sun City Carolina Lakes appears excellent, the actual flooring results in my new house were mediocre. The ends of at least 19 floor slats had gaps between 1/16th of an inch to 1/4 inch in the great room, dining room, bedroom hall. Representatives from Pulte and Decor said gaps of 18th inch or less were acceptable and not subject to warranty. Additional slats came loose from the floor and required replacement, around floor light sockets and granite bar areas. I had Decor return two times to my new house to make corrections -- the first time, within the first two months of moving in and eleven months after moving in.
