Deaton Gutter Service

Deaton came out to my rental house. and did a very great job. Absolutely rave reviews about Deaton. Originally talked to Vicki Deaton, I believe that she is the receptionist, and she was able to send a crew out to do some work. The crew did a perfect job, and have not encountered any problems. Have a renter in the house, and she loves the new gutters. We had a problem with a big tree in the yard, constantly spreading saplings into the gutter, and they needed cleaned 4 times a year. There was a big need, and they were able to give me nice new gutters. I called her back, and expressed my concern to have gutter guards installed, and they were happy to come out and do that work for me.

I contacted Vickie by telephone and we discussed replacing the gutters on my 2400 square foot two story home. She came out that day without my having to be there. She then e-mailed me a quote and texted me photos of the two leaf guard options. We scheduled the job for the next week, however it was scheduled to rain the day it was scheduled and she called me the day before and told me they would have to come out the next day. They showed up early and began work. I went to work and when i returned the job was complete and the site was cleaned up and the invoice was in my mail box. The whole process could not have been easier and the new gutters look great.

Service was excellent from first phone call to execution of service and product. There price was half of what everyone else's was and I got 3 other quotes! I don't understand why they were so much less, but they out their money where their mouth is!!!! Was extremely pleased overall!

Vickie Deaton & crew gave me great consultation on what kind of replacement gutters made sense. Installation had a few hick-ups that in the end got resolved to my satisfaction but all the back-and-forth leads to an overall "B" vs an "A".

Deaton's is completely professional. We were getting another quote and I decided we should get a second quote. I called Deaton's after seeing their reviews on Angie's List. Mrs. Deaton assured me that they would give us the best price, and she was completely correct. After telling her that we were going to go with them on Monday, she scheduled our gutter service for Wednesday. They arrived early, and by the time my husband had come home for lunch, they were finished, cleaned up, and had already left. I am very pleased.

Totally professional company in all respects. Punctual, began the job on time and finished early leaving a clean job site. Their price was fair and the tear out, and cleanup was great. The new gutters/downspouts were professionally installed. Some wood had to be replaced which they did, primed, painted and finished the job. Well coordinated team - and no work was subbed out.. Ed was exceptional in explaining the job. This is the only company I would use for any such work in the future.

It went great. They did a great job, stayed in contact with me via email and phone and answered any question I had. The workmanship looks amazing and I enjoyed working with them.

Process went great from beginning to end. Vickie, the owner, was accessible and easy to work with. She sent Ed out for measurement and discussion of scope of work. Ed patiently answered all questions and helped us pick out color. Ed and crew arrived promptly on day of job. They got to work right away and didn't stop until job was finished. Everybody was extremely polite and respectful of my property. When they were done they hauled off old gutters. No one would ever know they were here except house looks great.

The work was quality plus. There were a few more parts they needed not listed in the quote that was added to the job with the quote staying the same. I applaud their professionalism and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were on time for the appointment. Their prices are very reasonable. Scheduling was easy and they were able to come out the next week. Their response was very quick.

They did a great job. They were very professional as well. We were away from home and they did a great job with the look and installation of the gutters. The experience was very good. I had received a quote from them a year previous to the service and they still honored that rate that was quoted on the initial visit.

The service turned out really good. They were friendly, professional, and they provided a great service. They came out after the service as one minor leak occurred and they reinforced everything with no questions asked. They came out the next day after calling, they told me they would come out with any issues in the future. They stood by their word with any needs for the gutter system and the warranty. I would refer them to anyone needing gutter work. Their craftsmanship work was very good as well.

This is a great company. Made a phone call to them this morning about problem with gutters, explained the problem and asked for a quote for new guttering. Vickie took my call, gave me some good advice and then returned with an estimate that was a very good price. I had gotten a couple of estimates many, many months ago and was hesitant to proceed because of the prices quoted and over all bad experience with the companies and their representatives. Vickie was not only courteous and very informative about what was needed but said they could come out today to install the gutters. Lo and behold, they came out on time and did a wonderful job installing the gutters. Very professional and a very nice clean job. Gutters look great and, most of all, when the rains come later tonight, there will be no water problems! I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone that needs gutters. They are a small family run company so they are very concerned with your satisfaction and provide a high quality and reasonably priced service. I had a small problem with one of the downspouts a year later and they came out and repaired it the way that I wanted for no charge. Great service and responsiveness and reasonable prices. They are honest and professional people.

Deaton Gutter Service promptly returned my call with an estimate for new gutters. They showed up quickly and performed a professional installation. I have used this company in the past and would definately recommend them to anyone needing new gutters.

The crew arrived early and did an excellent job. In addition to resetting the covers, two 4' sections needed to be replaced. The price charged seemed high to us - $385 for a crew of three for about an hour's work plus the two 4' sections.

They came out and gave an estimate first and then came back and performed the work. They listened to our concerns, advised us about some things and overall did a good job. The price was good/fair (as we had quoted the job out with others).

I had called and left two messages on two different days wanting to set up an appointment for a estimate. They never returned my call.

The company was very quick to come out and give us a quote. This was a commercial job. The price was much better than most we received. They matched the gutter color with the building trim very well. The job was completed in less than a day. We are very please with the job that they did.

My house is 23 years old. I used to have the gutters cleaned 4 times per year and that wasn't enough... It seemd that the gutters, either because of debris accumulation or the small size of the downspouts, would always spill over. The gutters were in good shape but needed to be sealed at the joints (caulk after 23 years cracks and fails). I searched online for a vendor using primarily Angies List. Deaton's Service was local and had a great rating. They came out, surveyed the job, and I talked with them. I decided that my goaI was to obtain a quality job, that Deatons would provide a quality job, and that price was secondary. Hence, I did not 'shop' their quote. So the truth is, I cannot say their price was high or low. I can say it was fair - - we both got what we wanted with no regrets. The job was done on time by all the Deaton's and was done professionally. The gutter leaf protection system was a solid black coated aluminum cover over the top of the gutters and was obviously a quality product. The new 3" x 4" downspouts carry a whole lot more water than the small 2" x 3" gutters that were there. The big question was whether the gutters would only fill with water and sluff off the leaves. I did not write this review until I could conclusively report on the leave guard effectiveness. They work superbly. Why didn't I do this years ago? I guess becasue in the past, I had talked with people who did the install-your-own leaf guards that fell apart after a couple of seasons and never really worked in the first place. There is no doubt in my mind that these gutter guards will last a long, long time. I'm very pleased, can't object about the cost, and appreciated Deaton's honesty and integrity.

This was a down-to-earth company and provided great feedback on several things to consider when repairing and replacing our gutters. The price was very good as well.

I called this company as it has a very high rating and was very disappointed......i was initially impressed as they did actually answer the phone compared to several other companies but when i asked to schedule an estimate she told me " i lived too far for someone to drive all that way for just an estimate." i was a little confused since the company report list lincoln & gaston counties as areas they serve....the only reason i did not give an F rating was because they did actually answer the phone.

I received quotes from several companies and theirs was the best for the price. There were no complications.

Unbelievably fast. These guys came out for the quote the day I called. When my husband called to schedule service, they were out that afternoon and completed installation in a couple hours. Amazing!
