Great job. We will use them again

All contact with the owner and his workers has been professional, courteous and the workmanship has been very good. Although this is the first report, we used him in the past and would use him in the future. His estimates have all been reasonable and, in some cases, much less than others, but quality was not sacrificed.

Dave is exactly the guy I want to take care of my home. He and his team take care of everything -- including removing items from closets before they paint and putting things back when the paint is dry. They move bookcases without a book falling. They even moved my china cabinet full of antique china without damaging a thing. Their work is excellent and Dave is a careful supervisor. He provides a guarantee, though I have had no cause to use it. There isn't anyone else I would call for this work. Three years ago, I had people quote the work, but they were difficult -- wanted me to move the furniture, didn't want to paint trim and closets, and all sorts of ridiculous restrictions. There is no provider of any service in Charlotte that I would recommend more highly.

I found Dave from listings here on Angie's List. When I called we made an appointment for an estimate. Dave was on time and gave me all the information I needed. He then gave me the written estimate with a packet of references and other company information. I was impressed that he provided so many references. He was able to schedule my job very quickly and I was very pleased right from the beginning. The crew was very professional and very polite. They were hard working, did a great job and cleaned up afterward. And nobody complained when I kept adding things, like an additional double door, shutters, utility boxes, crawlspace door etc. They even drilled a hole for me so I could change doorbell plates. I already plan to use them in the future for interior painting and concrete staining. Try them and you will not be disappointed.

I have been using his services for the last seven years. I have been extremely happy with his work and never even tried any other painter. He is very knowledgeable, very conscientious and punctual. He had the same staff for the last seven years who are very neat, trustworthy and I have no problems having them in my house without anyone of us being here. He has done great jobs for me and I never had any problems with his work. He is always available when I need him and the price has always been very fair.

Not only do they do an outstanding job, but also are very fast and efficient. It is always a pleasure working with Dave and his crew.

It went great. Reico worked hard and quietly and even stayed until 7:30 p.m. the last day to make sure the job was finished on the date promised. He left everything neat and clean. It is great working with a company who delivers what they promise and also do quality work.

These are the neatest and cleanest painters I have ever used. Not one drop of paint on the carpet! The quality of work is impeccable. Dave does what he says he will do when he says he will do it even it requires getting in there himself to help finish the job. It was a pleasure working with this company. We will be hiring them again for additional work.

Outstanding! They left our home clean everyday during the week long job. Reico and Wato did a great job and quietly worked hard everyday.

I thought the prices were fair, and I plan on using him again.

I recently moved to the Charlotte area and was in need of a painter. I received Mr. McAleenan's flyer in my mailbox, so I gave him a call and left a message with his voicemail. Four days had passed until I finally heard from Mr. McAleenan on a Saturday. We set up the day and time for an estimate of the interior painting, which was to be the following Monday at 1:00 PM. Mr. McAleenan showed up at my home at 11:00 AM. I was in my backyard making calls at my patio. Apparently, he could see me through my front door window through to my back patio door that I was out back. He proceeded to come to my fence and announce himself. I was a bit startled and found this odd and explained that I wasn t expecting him for another two hours. He indicated Oh, I thought it was 11:00 AM, did I say 1:00 PM? I was instantly put off His early showing was very inconvenient to me; however, since he was at my home, we proceeded with the estimate. I showed him four rooms that I wished to have painted and he measured. He then advised he was going out to his truck to write up the proposal. He was away quite some time and I found this odd as well. He came back in with his written proposal. I looked over the proposal and although I found one medium size room estimate was $300 and I was to purchase the paint (no experience with painters), I asked him if he'd be available to paint just one room the following week. I explained that my young daughter would be out of town visiting relatives and that this would be an ideal time to paint her room as she has asthma and the paint fumes wouldn't be good for her. He told me he would be able to start the job that following Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM. I did not hear from Mr. McAleenan on Wednesday. I called and left a message explaining that I was very disappointed that he had arranged to do this work and was a no show / no call. I had wasted practically the entire week and only had two days to accomplish the paint job. Mr. McAleenan called me back the following day and advised he had been busy and then ill. I explained the convenience of him doing the job the previous week with my daughter out of town and that I was disappointed and dissatisfied with his professionalism and inconsideration of my time. Mr. McAlleenan's fly purports to have a long list of local references, provides the necessary insurance, extended warranty on labor, puts everything in writing, has a business license, experienced painter, owner of the company, and uses quality material as well as "We give the extra touch." Ironically, the title on his flyer states: "TIP'S (possessive on tips? - certainly needs tips on punctuation!) ON HIRING A PROFESSIONAL PAINTING SERVICE" Please do not bother calling this painter - there are so many other reputable painters in the area! I wish I'd joined Angie's List before I contacted this unknown from a flyer...

This is an excellent company, very neat, very professional. I would highly recommend them!
