They did a decent job. It was my first time using a house cleaner and I decided I would definitely stay away from cleaning services where 2-4 people come in and do what they can do in the allotted time. I'm now using a woman who comes by herself and will thoroughly clean my house each time - and the price is actually better.

The husband & wife combo did an amazing job! I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. They are professional, friendly, responsive, and did excellent work

I have to express my disappointment. About a week ago, I called Jose to set up an appointment today for 2pm for him to come to a house I am purchasing to paint the entire interior and scrape the popcorn ceiling. At that time, I told him that I did not yet own the house but had arranged with the seller to get access for us at that time. I texted him yesterday to confirm the appointment. Today at 11am, he called and told me he would be unable to come at 2pm, and asked if he could instead come at 4:30. I had to say no, because I was only able to arrange access with the seller from 2-4 today (my small window being the reason I set this up a whole week in advance). Therefore, I will not be able to get an estimate from Jose, and will not be able to consider him for the work today as I had planned. If Jose had called me earlier than today to change the time, I might have been able to arrange an extended window with the seller. By calling only 3 hours before we were scheduled to meet, Jose really put me in a position where I have wasted the day of access I was able to get from the sellers. I will say that Jose did return my first call promptly, and that he is very nice and courteous on the phone. I also want to stress that I have no familiarity with the actual work of this company, which could be great as other reviews seem to indicate (and which is why I called in the first place). I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid this company (under different circumstances, a 2.5 hour delay would have been no big deal, and at least they called and as opposed to being a no-show). But, I wanted to write to encourage them to better manage their schedule. If you're running a professional business, you really can't move an appointment on a customer the day of and expect that it's always going to be okay.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and friendly while visiting. I was pleased with the service and would recommend this company to others.

It was a man and a woman came out, and my son wanted help in the garage, and they helped him out, and organized it. They were very professional, the man was very nice, and the woman didn't speak much English, but they did a good job. I saw what it was like before and I saw it after, and it was a world of difference. The big deal had expired, but they still honored, and came out and did it.

It was good. They did an excellent job with painting. They did a very good trim work. I would definitely consider using their services again.

I contracted with Jose Morel of D&J Services, 980-229-0143, after reading an excellent offer in Angie's list to paint 800 sq. ft. for a very good price. We did contract a bit over the special price, but I had more square footage than 800 and high ceilings, but he included the special within my order. Every communication with Jose and his wife, Dinorah was very pleasant and professional. All I had to do was buy the paint and he and his wife brought everything else. We contracted up front and Jose even emailed me the firm contract prior to his visit. They made my condo look brand new. Dinorah even showed me how to remove some adhesive that I couldn't get removed from the windows. Both were super pleasant to work with. I had never contracted before, but I trusted Angie's List. Jose and Dinorah made me feel like a pro. It's all the little extras and listening that made the difference. These are super people. If you are not pleased with your painter or unsure who to choose in Charlotte, go with confidence that DJ Services will do a fine job! I'm very pleased with the finished work, their price, their on time service and professionalism. Very highly recommended.

What went well: The painting they did was very good, with only minor drips, etc. which are to be expected. In fact, you have to look real hard to find those. They took the time to do enough coats to make sure our walls were saturated with color. The painter even stayed longer than expected to ensure we had proper paint coverage on the wall. D&J is not a "fly by night" painter looking to cash in quick. They take pride in their work. I would rate the service an A for quality. Timeliness As mentioned in a different review from another member, only 1 painter comes out. The job took well into the evening. With that being said, the painter was very professional, courteous and did not bother us while we were at home (for the last few hours of work). They came to our house the day of the big snow. The painter was late in arriving, and I had to call to follow-up. HOWEVER, to be fair, they probably didn't call because of the timing. It was around 8am. I was expecting them between 730-8a because of my work schedule. Once I called them, they answered immediately, explained the situation and I had no problem with having to call them. As I said, it was early and they were probably being courteous not to call so early. What I wish I would've known before buying the big deal: The one thing I did find interesting was that I had to pay an upcharge of $60 to have them switch colors between the rooms. I wish the big deal coupon would have said it was for one color only. I didn't mind paying the extra $60, as I understand they need to use more supplies for this, but I would have loved to have known that before buying. I still would have bought, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall Rating: A I do recommend the service and feel you would agree they do a good job at a very fair price.

She was on time, professional and pleasant.

I have a 5 bedroom/4 bath house and they only sent 1 person. I thought they would've at least sent 2. When I saw that they only sent 1 person, I knew right away that the service will be lousy. So of course, lots of areas weren't dusted. Some areas were not vacuumed. My blinds were not cleaned. There was just no way she could've done it all by herself. Plus the person's attitude was lousy and she acted like she didn't want to be there. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. If you use this company please tell them your expectations before buying the coupon or agreeing to their services.

They are slow to respond to emails, but completed the service on time, as promised.

The wife did the painting and was great. I was under the understanding that I had bought the service to have my sitting room done. I was waiting on it though and hired them for every room except that one so I could use my coupon on that room. When I called later to use the coupon I had bought through Angie's list the husband said he use that coupon for my daughters room but when he was here if went over each room that I wanted done and he gave me the estimate. He showed me no proof of that. I gave good rating above because of the wife. It saddened me that the husband acted this way. I had recommended them to a lot of people. I still thought his wife did a great job.

D&J promptly replied to my calls and emails. They arranged for a date and time and arrived within a few minutes of the agreed upon time. She was courteous and worked quickly to complete the painting. There was an issue with a slight difference in the paint of the second gallon used - not because of D&J, but because of the mixing of the paint at the point of purchase. As the paint dried, it became more obvious. D&J returned that same week and corrected the differences so that it was no longer an issue. She also made some helpful suggestions about ways to upgrade certain features in the home to update its overall appearance. I would use this service again and plan to call when I have additional painting to be done.

It appears this company, even with their superior Angie's List ratings, is getting a little too busy for small jobs. We are disappointed.

I have been using D&J Services for quite some time to do a monthly house cleaning. When I decided to list my home, I used D&J for a deep clean and whole house organizing. Once again, they did a great job. They take a lot of pride in their work, often going above and beyond and even offering practical suggestions regarding more efficient of space, etc. I have always been impressed by their work ethic; they are consistently reliable and professional while maintaining a very cheerful attitude and managing to complete their work in a timely manner. I've noticed that the list of services the company offers has increased over time. Unlike some. though, who tend to be a "jack of all trades but master of none"; Jose, Morel and Dinorah really are outstanding at everything they offer. I've used them for house cleaning, interior organizing, interior painting and garage organizing and was always pleased with the final result. I would highly recommend D&J to others and hope to continue to use their services in the future.

Their service was good and it went fine. She's a very nice person and arrived on time. They did the agreed upon service and there weren't any problems at all with it and actually she was able to do more cleaning than what I had thought she'd be able to get done in that amount of time. I really wanted my downstairs cleaned because I just had surgery and I wasn't able to do it and I had people coming to visit. In the 4-hour period, she was able to do the downstairs and the upstairs and it was great.

I contacted the provider, and was able to get an appt. within a couple of weeks. They were prompt, polite, and fast. I will definitely use them again! In fact I did they came to paint my laundry room. Good people to use. Thanks D&J

Setup appointment with D&J for 9/3 the female member came out and said it was to much furniture in the house for her to paint and she left. I text her back and ask for a second appointment and that I would have as much furniture removed as possible. I have not heard from the company since. I texted them numerous times and got no respond. My home is in disarray waiting for them to come and I have had it I just want a refund so I can get my home painted. ( in my opinion there was not to much furniture in the room the room was almost empty)
