They were also helpful in color selection, as we were painting over knotty pine, aiming for white, and the advised Queen Anne's Lace white as a softer white to pair with bright white trim . That room, plus our living room and hallway, look great!

Description of Work: We were thrilled to have them paint our apartment. It was an uphill battle since the doors, moldings, and walls were dark, and we wanted to brighten things up with lighter paints. This required attention to detail and more coats than anticipated; however, that did not change the original price quote, and they did a MARVELOUS job. I have used many painters, but in Charlotte, D&J are my go-to people!

Description of Work: This was one of the big deals offered. I contacted D & J initially, and Jose came to my home to look at the area I wanted painting. My walls were in bad shape so I had to have drywall repair done first, by a different company. I got to use their paint contractor's discount for purchase of paint. I told them the color ahead of time, and Dinorah picked up the paint. Dinorah painted two large rooms, a living room and kitchen. She really did a great job and it looks great. She did this alone, and it did not take her long, about 4 hours for both rooms. Her work was very neat. I have used other painters, and she has done the neatest work of all of them. Paint was not on my floorboards or on woodwork around windows, doors, etc. I have contacted them for additional work, to remove popcorn ceiling in two rooms, and paint.

Description of Work: Great Angie's list deal for 3 room painting, got deal with Sherwin Williams Paint. Great quality of work and efficiency, much cleaner and faster than I could do and very nice people. I would recommend to anyone!

Description of Work: Painted three rooms. |The painting was done by one lady. She did an excellent job. Very professional and attention to detail. The work was completed in about 7 hours and looks fantastic. I'm a very happy customer !!

Description of Work: The "Big Deal" was 3 rooms for $286. The owner was very kind and communicative, unfortunately he was not the one who did the painting. What should have been a one day job (small bedroom, master bedroom, master bath), turned in to a two day job. Cloudy water in commode where (I think) the painter tried to clean the brushes. Paint was spilled and left in the garage, in the driveway, on the bathroom floor, on window sills, etc. Nail holes filled but not sanded. Overall sloppy. Won't use again. Wouldn't recommend.

Description of Work: I contacted Jose to schedule the appointment and he was very prompt in getting back to me. Dinorah actually did the painting and I cannot say enough good things about her and the work that she did. She is extremely personable, was extremely careful in doing the job and the work that she did was outstanding. Very professional and will be doing business with D&J Services again.

Description of Work: Painted ceiling, walls and trim in master bedroom and bath. A followup visit was necessary to fix some areas and I subsequently touched up a few areas.

Description of Work: Suppose to clean and arrange garage. They were very friendly, but did not do a good job. It has been so long now that I'm not sure about the date, and the time it took, but I'm guessing took about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs to do the work and guessing the date of service 11/2013.
