D & J Services and More

They are very good. We have had them a couple of time and they are due to come again. We have been fortunate to be able to use some of the Big Deals. So that is what we have used them for. It was one lady that came and she is dynamo. She comes in and gets started. She gets things that I would not have even thought of. She is very very good. The quality is tops. They have been real good about working with us in the scheduling and rescheduling. They are very good. I will use her again.

They were prompt, efficient and did a good job. They were there when they said they would be and they cleaned it up very nicely. They were great. I would use them again.

They vacuumed, washed floors, and did other standard housecleaning. They were excellent and very conscientious in their work.

I had to leave and was not there when they left, though my roommate was but as she was not the one who spoke with them or hired them, so she did not go back and check behind them when they left after the two hours (which we had to prompt them the two hours were up). When I came home, I was very disappointed. When I left, the young lady was vacumming the steps. When I returned and looked at the work they had done, I was sad to see the bathroom in the master BR had not been mopped, the sinks needed to be recleaned as they still had marks in them and in the guest bathroom, I had to reclean the sink as well and mop the floor. There is still dust around the top of the shower that I will need to clean and the tops of the shelves in the bathroom were not cleaned. I also had to vacuum the steps again as they were not done well at all and still had dog hair that was visible, you could barely tell they had been vacuumed. I am not sure why the young lady cleaned downstairs when I explained the priority was the bathrooms upstairs and they were not completed. I had too much to do that day to get ready to go out of town and did not want to spend my vacation time calling and explaining all this. I had looked forward all week to this as it was going to save me a few hours cleaning and while it did save me some time and they did do a lot of work, it was not completed in the way it should have been and they did not prioritize their time in a way that would allow them to complete the specific work I needed to be done. They were very nice and got there promptly and I did appreciate their professionalism in this respect.

I had D & J services do 2 hours of housecleaning. My husband and I have 4 young children and as anyone knows cleaning with little ones around is never easy. I have never had professional housecleaning done before. I left at 9am with my kids and came back at 11am to a beautifully cleaned house! It smelled great too! I loved how they also straightened and organized my clutter! My bookshelf was neatened and even the kids rooms were organized. They were punctual, efficient , friendly and were very attentive to detail. I am VERY happy with all the work they did and will definitely be using them again.

I found this company by buying one of Angie's List's special deals. I had been needing a housecleaning company for a while and so far after 3 cleanings I have been very satisfied. They come on time, are very polite and courteous, and do a very thorough and careful job in about 2 hours. I like them very much and feel confident having them in my home. The crew has varied from 2-3 people and is coming every 2 weeks.

She is very responsive. I never worry about security. She always takes care of my things. She treats my house like it’s her own.

The person who I dealt with, Jose, was very courteous and professional. We were quoted three hours and $120 for the cleaning, but they finished in 2 hours. However I found that the kitchen counters were not completely clean, and the floors were not completely clean after the mopping.

The young lady showed up promptly on time. I went through what our expectations were and what the priorities were. I'm extremely fussy about bathrooms and kitchens and that is where I wanted her to focus. My wife and I were cleaning other areas of the house for our 1 week visit for our out of town guests. We had already had the carpet cleaned thoroughly by Carpet Pros, and they did a great job 3 days previous. I wanted a SUPER cleaning job on the 3 bathrooms, showers, tubs, sinks, etc and the same thoroughness in the kitchen. During the afternoon, I asked if she needed anything or had any questions. I was told everything was going good. When our time was up at the end of the afternoon, I asked if I could have explained things better or if she had any problems or concerns. She stated she had none. I did walk the house before she left. She did miss a few things such as glass streaks, not cleaning baseboards in all the bathrooms and super cleaning of the shower. Again, I am a neat freak so may be other people are not as picky as me. If I do have her return, I will be more specific on the bathroom and glass items as mentioned. It is tough to find someone who cleans the "old fashion way." However, I also like to give people another chance on items like this.

They never called me back until a month and a half later and by that time, I’ve already got another company.

As usual, Dinorah did an amazing job. She went over and above what we asked, several little things were in a much more organized state than when we left them! We hope to have her back many times.

aI purchased the Angie's List deal of 4 hours of cleaning for $89. As part of this deal, I received the 2 cleaners for 2 hours rather than the 1 person for 4 hours. The entire experience with this company was very pleasant. They were very prompt for their appointment (they actually arrived 15 minutes early). They began cleaning the house right away with all the supplies and tools they needed. I was surprised at how quickly they worked from room to room and how good of a job they did. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

I was satisfied with the work done and have hired Dinorah and Jose to do a number of other jobs, including carpentry, housecleaning, punch lists and extending my outdoor patio. Both Dinorah and Jose are very handy and have a lot of knowledge to offer that is practical and saves money.

Dinorah has been cleaning my house for about 6 months. She mentioned that she can also do painting.She gave me a reasonable quote so we arranged for a date and time to complete the job.She did an excellent job painting and did it quickly.On one of her cleaning visits she brought color samples for me to see. As we discussed the various options, she provided valuable suggestions about an appropriate color considering the furnishings and other adjacent living areas.Whether you are looking for painting or house cleaning, you can't go wrong with D&J Services and Dinorah.

Excellent house cleaning service at a fair price.

Purchased an Angies List Big Deal for 4 hours of house cleaning. This is the first time I have used D&J Services but will defintely be using them more. I have used several other Angies List house cleaning services and have been satisfied with the results but D&J has clearly been the best. I didn't expect the whole house to be cleaned (approx. 3,500 SF with 5 bedrooms and 5 five baths) but after the 4 hours I was so pleased with what they had done I asked if they would be able to stay to finish the rest. They were able and more than happy to accomodate me and finished up at a very reasonable extra cost. Excellent results.

D&J Services were great! They arrived promptly and as scheduled and worked the hours I paid for. They were very polite and responsive to my needs. They did a great job cleaning my house and even amazed me by making the bed and folding the laundry!! I would definetely use their services again in the future.

She was terrific, i cannot say enough good about her. She was very prompt and on time, she worked very quietly. I was concerned she would overstay her alloted time of 4 hours. She told me to not worry, if she had to work a little overtime it wouldnt be a problem at all, but she did not have to. She did everything i asked her to do in the allotted time frame.

Jose' and Patricia cleaned our home for the first time and we are very happy with the quality of the work and the attention to detail. They arrived right on time and went straight to work. They spent almost three hours cleaning our home and worked very hard the entire time. The house is new construction so dust is a big concern, but they got most of it on the first trip. Jose' and Patricia are very personable and speak very good English. We had no trouble communicating whatsoever. We've hired them to now do a twice-monthly cleaning and look forward to a long relationship. I will plan on updating this reference as the relationship matures and they have more of a chance to get used to the house and our priorities. Well-done and I would recommend their services.Bill

"I got the Angies List deal of having them clean for 4 hours at $89, I added a $20 tip. I overall appreciated them coming in and cleaning and checking many things off my list. Overall I found they did a decent job, everything appeared clean when they left but I had not had time to do a thorough walk through of the house. Once they left and I was able to do that I found that many things were clean and great and done well, however several were not. Mainly the kitchen, the microwave was not cleaned out (now they say they don't do inside of appliances- but I somewhat assumed this did not include the microwave that was my fault and I would have done it before they came had I thought about it). But the stove and counters still had stuff on them and the floors just had the dirt moved around on them. I grabbed a paper towel when they were still damp from mopping and came up with a dark brown towel covered in dirt and dog hair. Not exactly what I wanted to see after spending $100 getting my house cleaned. Many of the other areas do appear to be cleaned however. Overall its a toss up between hiring them and going with a chain. I usually like using local businesses but I usually expect it to be the same or better than the chains. They were both very nice and professional and I did feel comfortable with them cleaning in my home. Also they bring all their own cleaning supplies, this was ok with me as I don't stock many typical supplies, but I prefer less "chemical smells" in my home as well.

I could tell instantly that Dinorah knew exactly what she was doing after watching her just get the masterbath ready to clean. She started right away and she was fast and very thorough doing a deep cleaning as requested. In the process she came across my "hidden" good watch that fell on the floor when she was cleaning, I was in another part of the house and she brought the watch to me explaining that it had fallen. She could have easily tucked it in her pocket and kept it or put it back in it's hiding place never mentioning that she had seen it at all. I immediately knew that she is an honest person that can be trusted in one's home. The bathroom was gleaming when she finished. She did the same meticulous job in the other areas she cleaned as well even requesting a step stool in order to reach some high areas that needed dusting. She does not clean around things and goes so far as to move furniture that she can manage alone to clean the floors underneath. I would definately like to have her back to clean again in the future as she was pleasant, eager to please, comfortable with and kind to my large dog and overall very professional and good at what she does!

Overall we were very happy with the services that were provided.

They were punctual and very friendly. So far it’s good. I would use them in the future.
