Description of Work: I bought a coupon for 4 hours of housecleaning. We setup the appointment and two people, D & J, at the desired time. I had never used a housecleaning service, so wasn't sure what to expect. Well I could not be more pleased. They came and spent a little more than the 4 hours and did a FANTASTIC job. So much so that I have retained them on a monthly basis. They are very thorough and willing to do more than expected. I have a large house, a dog and small grandchildren that visit from time to time. So what they encounter differs from visit to visit. They work very hard, bathrooms done very well, vacuum, dust, do mirrors, etc. Since using their services on a regular basis, I have had to change our appointments from time to time and they have worked with me very well. They are very pleasant and want to be sure you are pleased. I am very happy with the price for the services performed! ! !

Description of Work: First of all, I am a fairly new member to Angie's List, and this was the first 'Big Deal' I had purchased. It was for one room of painting for $99. I was actually wanting more than one room painted and had gotten a couple of estimates from other Angie's List recommended painters, but I wanted to try out this 'Big Deal' coupon and D&J Services had excellent reviews and ratings so I decided to give it a try. I didn't really read all the fine print associated with the Big Deal as far as room size and other limitations, but I had already bought it when I contacted Jose to schedule the time. When I told him what I was wanting done which was having a media room painted a dark color ( walls, ceilings, everything ) he explained that the Big Deal didn't really cover doing the ceiling, but that he would be glad to come and give me an estimate and asked me to email him the specifics. I didn't hear back from him for about a week so I called back to see if he had received the email. He acknowledged that he had and apologized for not contacting me, but we set up an appointment for him to come out and see what I wanted done. Imagine that when these Big Deals are offered how many people take advantage of them, so I really had no problem at all and was not in all that big a hurry to have it done anyway. The day of the appointment he was running a little late, but he called and told me when he would be there which was very courteous. It was actually within 15 minutes of when he originally said so most people wouldn't even have bothered, but I appreciated it. He looked over what I was wanting done and gave me an estimate which I found reasonable. So much so that I asked him to provide a quote for painting a bathroom and laundry room. He did so and so my wife and I agreed to get all three rooms done. The price of the Big Deal was just applied to the total. Jose estimated the amount of time and scheduled the painting date right then.

Description of Work: Overall, I was not 100% satisfied with the work performed. We had two bedroom ceilings painted with a basic ceiling paint that was a little lighter than the existing paint. These were normal sized ceilings, no vaulting but both ceilings had ceiling fans. We had tried painting the ceilings ourselves but they didn't turn out very well so we reached out to D&J to fix the job. We expected that she would fix the sections of the ceilings where the paint was overapplied. But no, she just painted over them without sanding or doing anything to smooth it out. It doesn't look like the work of a professional at all. The price seemed good but I still feel like it was a waste of money. We will probably have to get the repainted. I would be skeptical to call on them again for painting, especially for ceiling paint. They provide many other services however, so I can't say I would never use them again for something else. I would just be sure to provide very specific instructions.

Description of Work: I believe that they would do a good job--however, I was very turned off by the attitude. They were punctual and seemed pleasant. The emailed estimate was a bit higher than others that I got but it wasn't horribly expensive.

Description of Work: They came in assessed what needed to be done- asked if we had any plastic bins- asked if we could purchase a $39 shelving system from Lowes, and then went to town.

Description of Work: I tried to reach several times by phone and email and recieved no responses. I was not impressed with this company. when I recently called both numbers had been disconnected.
