Dennis came out quickly and provided an acceptable quote. Due to the location of the room, there were a lot of complex angles that needed to be addressed, and Dennis and his crew did a fantastic job! They showed up promptly, and most days left after 5 oclock. They handled the "messyness" of drywall well, as we had no drywall dust show up in any of the other rooms of the house. Original job was expected to take 4 days, but they fininshed in 3 days, which was a nice surprise. Everyday they laid out new dropcloths on the hardwood floors to protect them, and cleaned up everyday. We really had no visual clues that there was work being done on our house after the crew left. I did need to raise some of the electrical outlets b/c they were flush with the edge of the new drywall, but it wasn't really a problem. They also added all of the window trim, baseboards and door trim, doing a fantastic job dealing with some of the angles they had to work with. I'd use them again for ,y next drywall project.

Never could get them to do the work. We have used them before and all went well. This time they took a look and offered a solution and then never showed up or called or anything. If they did not want the job all they had to do was tell us. We have called them back on several occasions to no avail. We have wasted time with them trying to figure out if they are going to do the work or not.

Ceilings looks great! Dennis came out to give estimate the day after we spoke on the phone. He arrived on time and gave an estimate that was fair and in line with other estimates we had gotten. He was able to start the job quickly so we went with him. We ended up changing the start date on him due to the closing date change of the new house and he was very understanding. Just 3 guys removed over 2000 sq ft of popcorn and repaired and painted the ceilings. They did all this in just 5 days. The ceilings look brand new! They worked long days to get this done so quickly for us. Dennis and his brother David were wonderful to work with. Will be using them again soon to do additional painting in the house.

I hired D & D on four different occasions, all of which were excellent experiences. The first job was mudding and sanding a couple rooms, which was completed on time and with desirable quality. The crew laid down plastic and taped off everything. The next year I hired D & D for skimming and painting 2 bedrooms and a hall way, from the ceilings down to the shoe molds. When the job was completed I could not find one blemish - exceptional work! After that I followed through with two additional jobs, one on a large ceiling and one for a small master bathroom. The last project they completed for me was just as professional-looking as the first. Do yourself a favor when scouting for a drywall and painting crew: Wait for D & D to provide their services and you will be impressed with their delivery of quality craftsmanship. If you are REALLY interested in a service, follow up and ask good questions. Should the project require more than the scope of the contractor's craft, collaborative with someone who's better-fitted for the in-depth task. Being a good scout on the front end and a collaborative manager throughout the duration of your project will help your contractor provide the best service and a more enjoyable hiring experience for the both of you.

Dennis and his crew are the nicest most polite group of people I have ever met. Gave me a quote in less than 10 minutes and had his crew there the next week. Keep in mind I am more picky than most and hold contractors to a high standard. In all they did a nice job on my house. They went to great lengths to project my house from as much dust and debris as possible. They wrapped the entire house in plastic and taped all the a/c vents closed and worked the entire time with no A/C. They moved as much as they could into rooms that they were not working in and covered the rest in plastic and tape. With that said there are a few places where I wished they had done a better job even after I made a list and pointed them out. They are very minor details that most people would not notice but I do. I would use them again as their price was fair and they worked really hard.

The vendor employees showed up on time, did a professional job on all of the work they were contracted to do. The vendor was responsive in addressing any concerns as well as polite and courteous. They certainly deserve an A rating for the work they performed at our residence.

I called in an emergency situation. He was very responsive and was able to come the same afternoon, actually within an hour or so. He is very professional and did a great job. I would definitely use this company again!

Company did not respond to message or call to schedule or refer me elsewhere.

Well, we never got a call back, or a quote, or a reference to use someone else.

Denis was responsive and came out to provide a quote. He said it would take most of the day to complete, and quoted $495 for two ceiling repairs, which I thought was reasonable. He and his partner arrived on time and got to work. I have three complaints: 1. For the work in the hallway, they needed to patch a hole and respray popcorn. The tape they used pulled paint from my wall near where the wall meets the popcorn ceiling, and when I asked about it, he told me he was responsible and I should just touch up if I have extra paint. This seems to be something he should have done, or at the very least he should have pointed it out and apologized. I had to note it and in trying to touch it up myself, I've done a less than professional job and it doesn't look great. I ended up getting some of the paint for the wall on the popcorn ceiling... ugh. 2. For the garage, we had discussed that I didn't want the drywall to look different than the rest used as I had a leak and am preparing my home for sale. He used a completely different color drywall, and when I asked about it, he said the other drywall was "old." This wasn't what we discussed, with my goal of not drawing attention to it. So now I'll probably have to disclose. 3. He didn't remember how much he'd quoted me for the job, and just appeared to be sleepwalking through it. Just not a very professional approach to this job. This is the first time Angie's List has let me down.

We called him last minute, on an emergency repair need. He came out in the evening after his last scheduled job and fit us in. Really appreciated how he fit us in last minute. He did a great job, the wall had a huge hole in it and when he was done you couldn't even tell it had been there. It was pricey, but I believe because it was last minute and an emergency situation. We will definitely use him again.

Denis gave me a quote the same day I contacted him. He was very reasonable with his prices. He put me on his schedule within the same week. He arrived on time and was very neat. I will definitely use him again!!!

Dennis is terrific to work with. We have used his crews at least three times over the past 4 years to do interior painting, exterior painting, drywall repair, and crown molding installation. He's great - on-time, patience, and very wiling to work with you.

The owner/part-owner came to our house to give us a quote on painting the majority of our downstairs. He was going to give us a couple of quotes - one for painting, the other for sheet rocking the walls and then painting. The paint on some of the walls has cracked and sheet rock is a long-term remedy from that happening again. He told me that he would give us a quote within the next couple of days, but hasn't been in touch since then. I took time off from work to meet him at our house. If following through with a quote is indicative of the quality of work or professionalism, then I'd stay far away.

D and D sent an estimator out right away and gave me the quote, starting day, and time. The drywall guys showed up at 8:00 am on Monday and went right to work. They covered all the furniture before beginning and worked all day on the repairs. After they finished the repairs, they cleaned up the area. On Tuesday at 8:00 am the painters arrived and worked most of the day painting. Since the ceiling extended into another room (that did not need repair) they took a sample of the paint and matched it. I can't tell where the old and new paint meet. The painters also cleaned up their area when they were done. I am very happy with their work, the manner in which they kept me informed, and their overall professionalism. I would use D and D again and highly recommend them.

Overall it went well. Dennis is so awesome to work with. Lots of patience. Handled everything with a smile. I would definitely recommend him. He is very innovative and experimental. He is confident and knows what he is doing.

Dennis was great with communicating. In the beginning the homeowner did not have a phone. Dennis went to the house, gave me an estimate and within 3 weeks total the job was completed. I heard from the homeowner who was ecstatic. The homeowner said Dennis was totally professional and the job could not have been done any better.

Went well, some hiccups, but D&D corrected the issues.

So I usually do all my own drywall and painting; i've done a lot of drywall and am a stickler for making it look perfect so I hate contracting that out. But i was in a situation where I had to have some work done quickly and had no time to get it done myself so I contractect D&D given that they had good reviews on Angie's list and they were one of the few places that could meet my tight time-line. the drywall work they did was very good. surfaces were smooth. however they didn't do a good job of protecting the surrounding surfaces and left drywall on wood railings and hardwood stairs and embedded in numerous places in the carpet in a couple of rooms. Also, they was paint dropped and left on the tile and carpet in multiple spots throughout multiple rooms. they also for some reason replaced a joint tape line that was not a part of the job resulting in me having to repaint the whole ceiling in that small room to get it to match. In one room they spontaneously decided to fix some other drywall areas that weren't part of the job (which would normally be welcome), but then painted them all with the wrong paint (and did not request the correct paint) meaning i had to repaint portions of several walls in that room. overall their drywall skills seem good, but painting is questionable, and overall their inability to take the time to protect the walls/floors/etc resulted in a mess! They offered to come back and fix all the issues, but i refused given how badly the job was botched due to not observing the fundamentals (i didn't want to keep compounding the problem). So i had to spend many hours resolving all the problems from the job. It definitely didn't save me enough time to be worth the money.

Denis was great! Our concern was not having to repaint the walls (popcorn ceiling removal is messy) and Denis's work was quick, thorough, and impeccable. We didn't have to repaint anything. Also, I was particular about the paint that I wanted on my ceiling and he was responsive and accommodating. I would definitely use him again. I gave him a C for price because, while I think the price for the work was fair, the original estimate was far off of the final estimate.

Dennis listened to my request and came up with a better solution that cost less, and provided a better end result. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

The provider showed up on time on the date scheduled. The crew did an excellent job removing the popcorn ceiling, repairing and then painting. Unfortunately, the walls that were painted, as part of the order, left much to be desired. Light fixtures and towel bars, etc were not removed prior to painting, so when we changed out any, we had to sand and paint ourselves. The walls in the large dining room were done without care and we ended up repainting. The garage entry door was not properly prepped because the paint ended up literally peeled off. We called the provider to request the door paint be fixed, Dennis came to inspect, stated that they would return to fix it and never showed up or were heard from again. We ended up sanding and re-painting the door ourselves, as well. The popcorn removal was well-done, however. We were most disappointed in the lack of responsive to repairing the peeling paint on the doors.

I called after doing search for drywall repair and called D & D and spoke to Dennis to arrange the repair. Dennis was able to come the next morning after I called and gave me an estimate for the work. He texted me that he was on the way and arrived shortly after. After the estimate Dennis left to get his supplies. He came back within the hour and I also met David his brother and business partner. They broke for lunch a little before noon and returned not too long afterwards to finish. I received an estimate for painting also. I'm probably going to use them to paint this same room a deeper color to see how I like it and would consider them for other work. Dennis also told me they do other remodeling, home projects. The cleanup was thorough also and they took more care with my wood floors than the last contracter did.
