Dennis was great. His quote was much lower than the other one I got. He was nice and friendly. He finished the job on time and you can't even tell there was a hole in the ceiling anymore. The work was seamless. He was also careful not to make a big mess.

Great job. Our neighbors say our house looks brand new! I plan to use D & D for some future improvements.

I was satisfied with everything except for a few hiccups along the way. My garage door was broken, I suspect by the workers, but they denied having anything to do with it (it was functional when I left, and not when I returned). I had to have a repairman out, and there is still a large dent and hand prints all along the outside. I did get them to agree to pay for the $115 repair, but it was still a hassle having to deal with it all. There were a couple of mis-communications; the paint cost wasn't included in the quote, which I didn't realize, so I was surprised a bit when they mentioned I needed to pay for the paint. He did offer to pay for half though, as a compromise. Also, I realized later that the color of the bathroom wasn't what I wanted. I didn't originally ask for it to be painted, but they said they needed to because of the ceiling work. So I asked to leave it the same color, but they painted it the same color as the master bath instead. The ceilings looked fabulous, and the paint job was good for the most part. There were a few spots I had to point out and ask to be fixed on the walls. And after they were done I found a couple of other spots. One thing I was disappointed with was the cleanup. I have found plaster/drywall mud spots on doors and floors in several areas. Also, there was a large amount of dust on the floors and other surfaces. I would have expected the surfaces to have been covered better to prevent the dust build-up. I am still trying to get dust out from between the hardwood floor boards. All in all, I have a mixed review. The work was satisfactory (ceilings look great), but there were a few things along the way that I was not satisfied with. But I also take into account that the estimate was cheaper than others I received.

D&D Drywall did a fantastic job on my ceilings. When I called to get an estimate, Denis showed up the next day. He was on time. He was very thorough in explaining what his crew would do to remove the popcorn ceilings. He estimated it would take 3.5 days and he was exactly right. I scheduled the work for a few weeks later. His crew showed up on time each morning. They were very careful to cover the walls and floors each day. I moved all of my furniture to the garage to give them an unobstructed workspace. I did stay in the house each night (slept on an air mattress), so the crew made sure to clean up one of the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the kitchen each evening before they left. They even moved my TV back inside each night - that thing probably weighs 75 lbs! The ceilings look great. In one of the rooms, you can still see the joint tape line, so he is going to come back in a couple of weeks and re-mud and repaint it. On the final day, the crew spent about 2 hours cleaning the house. They did a great job. It takes time for all that drywall dust to settle, so I did have to wipe down the walls and fixtures again a few days later. This is NOT because of their poor workmanship. They were great - the place was clean when they left. It's just due to the nature of the work. I just want to point that out as an FYI. I was very happy with the work that Denis and his crew did. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Dennis was a total professional. He was the first one to give us an estimate and when we agreed to have him do the work, he was here within days. He and his crew were friendly and considerate. But most of all, the work is true craftsmanship. My only complaint is that it makes the rest of our house look bad!

Dennis and his crew did a fantastic job. The most amazing part of the work was their ability to perfectly match the popcorn on my ceilings in 3 different areas. You can't tell I had any holes in the drywall or that any repairs had been done -- you can't get any better than that! I highly recommend D&D Drywall & Painting.

Total professionals. The ceilings turned out to look as good as new...even though a different contractor had suggested texturing the ceilings because he could not make them totally smooth. Always arrived on time. Paint job was first class as well. I already have D&D scheduled for additional work in a few weeks.

Everything went well. They were able to get started right away, and finished within the estimated time frame of 3 days.

The overall experience was excellent. I had a deadline to meet due to hardwood installation and he worked the weekend to make sure it was completed. His company did a much higher quality job than a previous drywall company I used last year.

Our 2-year old upstairs A/C unit leaked and damaged the popcorn ceiling in our foyer. The A/C company agreed to repair the damage. The first company they sent did a terrible job of replacing the damaged drywall. The second company they sent did a terrible job of spraying the popcorn texture. After 4 weeks and 4 days of having workmen in our home, I told the A/C company that I would get my own person to do the job right. I found D&D Drywall on Angie's List. Denis Garcia came out to our home, described in detail what needed to be done, and provided a quote, which the A/C company agreed to pay. Denis came out on a Thursday, scraped off the bad texture, prepped the underlying drywall, and re-sprayed the popcorn texture. The next day he painted the entire foyer ceiling and now it looks as good as new. Not only was the work done as promised and in a timely manner, but Denis is a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommned D&D for this type of work.

It wasn?t outstanding but it was just okay. They were professional.

Mr. Garcia came out to give the estimate the same day I called. He and the crew were on-time, courteous and professional throughout the job. The job was scheduled for the next week. Mr Garcia and two crew installed the drywall and mostly mudded it by noon. One crew stayed the afternoon and finished the mud and did an excellent job of cleaning up. They used drop cloths. In a few days, two crew returned to sand and the job was done. It makes the rest of my house's drywall look bad. I am really pleased with this company and would use them again.

Excellent work. Classy fella and very open and honest. We wanted our garage done right away. Dennis came by the same day we called and looked it over was very open and honest. He asked us specifics about what we expected the final job to look like. He gave us a quote we accepted on the spot. We made arrangements to start work in 2 weeks. 3 days later Dennis called and said he could do the work that weekend. We gladly accepted. He arrive on time on a Saturday worked through the day as my kids and I worked in the yard. He let it dry on Sunday and had his painter come by on Monday. The painter did a very good job sanding and painting. The end result was just as we wanted! I was so impressed with the entire job I "overpaid" for a job well done.

They painted part of the front of the house, replastered/painted kitchen ceiling, painted one bedroom, one bathroom, and entrance hall. Painting and clean up were great - no complaints. Would definitely use again!

I couldn't be happier that I selected D&D Drywall and Painting to do my basement project. Dennis was professional and courteous. He listened to the scope of the project and performed the service on task and as agreed upon. The work was done correctly and follow-through was as expected. D&D Drywall and Painting did a really good job. He came up the same day I called him, so very responsive. The work was good, and he was very clean.

Dennis was found in Angie's List and was in my kitchen the next day. He gave an estimate and went over all he was going to fix. He showed up on time both days and was well-prepared. He was professional and friendly. He had me check his work as he went to make sure it was what I wanted. Dennis is a hard worker who seems to enjoy what he does.

From the initial request for a quote, Dennis was professional and on time. I requested a quote on repairing drywall, fixing several nail pops and finishing the garage. He returned my calls quickly and provided a fair price(received the same quote from another company). Dennis arrived on time, was professional and completed the work to my satisfaction.

Dennis repaired all the walls in my bathroom that had been badly installed by another contractor. Dennis used ready mix to smooth over the poor installation and make the walls even and give them a professional look.

Very satisfactory. Dennis came to give estimate quickly and then rearranged schedule to complete the work the same day. This was important since other kitchen renovations were scheduled. Price was fair and outcome was good. Only issue was that Dennis' assistant failed to protect the drywall from getting wet in rain when bringing it into our house. He would have installed the damp drywall if I hadn't asked him to delay so we could dry it off.
