The crew was very professional and accomodating. I am very pleased.

I called a couple of contractors and many would not take the job because of the textured ceiling and others didn't seem to have the expertise. Denis came 3 times. Once for the estimate, then for the repair, and then to apply the texture. He was always on time, professional and friendly. He did a fantastic job on the repair and also did a good job cleaning up. I would absolutely hire Denis again.

Dennis came to my house 2 hours after I contacted him to give an estimate for some mudding and taping. I had another quote that was considerably lower and had a faster turn around time. I wish I had used D&D because the other provider gave me a horrible product, took much longer than promised and was the worst customer service ever. I wish I had gone with these guys.

Dennis took my call personally and we set an appointment for a free estimate. Dennis was very prompt and professional. He seemed to be very knowledgable and provided us with a fair estimate. He was honest in that he will not be able to start for another three weeks. We plan to use Dennis to do our project.

I had a pipe leak and it had cause damage to the ceilings in my office and a bathroom. Another company had already removed all floor and ceiling material that was wet and punched several holes in the popcorn ceilings and drywall during the drying process. Received quote one day and crew was able to be onsite next day. Very reasonable pricing. The crew from D&D did an excellent job patching all the holes in the walls and ceilings. They also re-sprayed the popcorn ceilings in two rooms. They protected the floors, walls, and did not leave a mess when they were done. All work was done in one day and a month later it still looks great and I can't tell where the holes were! Would definitely use again for ceiling and drywall repairs.

Previous Renters had trashed the house. They had put up 2x4's and dry-walled in an open loft area, left multiple pallets in back yard, and did other general damage/theft to house. Dennis and his team, repaired the ceiling and walls from the damage. They also painted the inside of the house. Dennis was also willing to remove about 15 large pallets that the renter had left laying in the back yard. The team did a great job for a fair price. They cleaned up well at completion of the job.

Why we Chose them.... We were not feeling super confident about anything when we interviewed 2 other companies, as we had built 2 homes in past and know what to really expect about big projects like this in general. However, Dennis made us feel very comfortable with what to expect, how it would be done, and that it would be done to our satisfaction. We felt comfortable about working with him, especially because he had done so much more than just painting....and we had ceiling tape issues, and also wanted to change our Sunroom trim work from dark brown trim to white trim. Punctuality The crew arrived pretty much on time Mon - Fri of the week they were here. I always had coffee and donuts, or Pop Tarts for them, and also supplied lunch 2X to be nice, and to help with expediting the work flow as we live outside the city limits. The work experience Although they did all they possibly could to keep my home clean, popcorn ceiling removal is a very dirty job that left remnants of white dust in my home for about 6 weeks after the work was completed. We purchased Sherwin Williams Cashmere low lustre paint for walls and Sherwin Williams semi-gloss Super paint for trim work. They did a good job applying the paint, although they did have to return one day to fix some things in my kitchen, which was the last room done on the final day of work. I felt it had been rushed thru as they maybe got behind on the 5-day project, and should have allowed a 6th day to complete all work. They did an excellent job on days 1-4, then day 5 was TGIF and the last day....they did return and fix all that was wrong. Cleanup Well,, I am a woman...they are men...so, ladies? Although they do cleanup, you will still need to clean up "your way" after the work is done! and with popcorn ceiling removal, we are talking white dust settling on everything for about 4-6 weeks. Now There are some "settling" issues, just as one would have with any new construction or big remodel job....and we are willing to wait for about 3 months before having Dennis and his crew return to finalize any of these issues.

We called Dennis on a Tuesday asking if he could paint a room the next day before our family arrived for Thanksgiving. He asked me the approximate size of the room and gave me a quote over the phone. The quote was very reasonable, we accepted, and he was here the next day to paint. He finished the same day and did an excellent job painting and touching up the trim.

Overall we were happy with the result. There were a few small details that could have been finished a bit more cleanly that we didn't notice until a few days later - a dent in the steps and gaps where the drywall meets the steps - but for the price it was still a good value. The only other small complaint was the condition of the floor when they left - drywall is a messy job and the floor was swept but not much more when they left. Not sure if this is normal or not after a job is complete. It took about 10 floor scrubbings to get off the thick layer of drywall dust.

Experience was good as they were professional, prompt and cleaned up once completed. The price was a little high as it took them less than one hour to complete all areas. Will probably use them again, but will shop for better price.

Denis and all the guys did a spectacular job. I was so impressed with all the gentlemen and their work. I have recommended them to my coworkers and neighbors.

Dennis came out and said he could fix all the cracks in the plaster walls and could even fix the plaster ceiling, but that I may experience more cracking in other areas as time passed. After some discussion about different options we decided that he would go over the ceiling with thin drywall and replace the picture frame molding with a 5" crown. Because of his low price I was also able to have him drywall over the paneling in the kitchen, which I thought I would have to put on hold for a while. He also painted all the ceilings in the house, 7 rooms in all, which looked stained from someone smoking in the house at some point. He said he could start on Wednesday and be done Saturday. He called me Friday to let me know they were done. They also cleaned up very well after themselves after they left, leaving the house as clean as when they arrived. I only found one place that I was not 100% satisfied with. I called him about that Saturday afternoon and he had someone out there Monday morning to fix it. They fixed it just as I asked with no issues. Dennis is very professional and he and his workers are very trustworthy. I left them in the house while I was at work during the days and had no worries that anything in my house wasn't 100% safe. For quality and price D&D can't be beat.

We did not employ Mr. Garcia to do our repair work. He did come and look at the job, however, he needed to talk to his finishing man to see if he would be able to duplicate the pattern we have on our ceiling. We received a call about a week and a half later from Mr. Garcia who informed us that his finishing man didn't feel he would be able to duplicate the pattern. He did say that they would be able to replace the drywall but we wanted to hire the person who could do the drywall and the finishing.

I called D & D for an estimate after I found them on Angie's List and read many positive reviews. After my personal experience with this company, I have to agree that they deserve high praise. I called D & D and left a message to set up an appointment for an estimate. Within a few minutes, Denis called back. On the day of the appointment, Denis showed up exactly on time to assess the work needed and gave me an estimate before he left. The price for the job was very reasonable. I had contacted two other companies, which were under consideration, but Denis impressed me the most. He is personable and I felt he is a man of his word. Initially, I planned to do the painting myself and have D & D do the sheetrock only, but after meeting with Denis, I decided to have them do the painting also. They started promptly on Monday morning and worked diligently throughout the day. Screws, rather than nails, were used for the installation. The quality of their workmanship did not suffer despite their speed finishing the first phase of the job. They are extremely hard workers and accommodating. Early the next morning they were back to tape and prepare the walls and ceilings before painting. On Thursday they primed, painted and finished both rooms. Friday afternoon when the paint was completely dry, I noticed some imperfections in the paint work which were not apparent earlier. I called Denis and left a message. Within 20 minutes, he called back and I explained the situation. He made an appointment to return on Monday morning to look at it. Shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday he arrived with one of his workers, looked at the work, and agreed that it could be improved. First thing the next morning, the problem was corrected and I could not be happier with the results. Thank you Angie's List!

I contacted D&D Drywall and Painting for an estimate on Friday, and we set up a meeting for 5:00 pm on the following Tuesday for them to come to my home to evaluate my needs. Dennis was kind enough to come after hours so as not to interfere with my work schedule. I was pleased with the quote, so I asked Dennis how soon he could perform the work. He had availability on Thursday, which coincided with my work schedule, so that is when we scheduled it. Dennis and his team arrived promptly on time and got right to work. It took them approximately six hours to complete the work. As most people know, drywall is extremely messy and creates a lot of dust. I was extremely pleased at how well D&D contained the dust and cleaned up after the project was complete. In addition to the great cleanup, the work is flawless. I am very glad I chose D&D Drywall and Painting for this job. I will certainly use them again for drywall or painting needs.

The service was excellent. They came in and were able to complete the job very quickly, and they did a great job of it. The workers were all very personable, and the clean up was great. They had a very reasonable price as well. I would recommend them.

They came exactly when they said they were going to and did the work faster then expected.

The morning before we were due to leave for a romantic getaway, my husband went to the attic to retrieve one of our suitcases. All of a sudden I heard this tremendous noise downstairs to run upstairs to the second floor and see my husband's foot and leg protruding from the ceiling. After calmng him and getting him on his feet and back down the ladder I checked Angie's List for a drywall repair person. I thought that perhaps we could just get an estimate before we left and then have the work done upon our return. I called D & D and Dennis Garcia was at my door in less than an hour. He knew I was frantic and took a look and asked when I would like it done - obviously I wanted it done now which he was able to do. He and his crew were working another job in the area but he said he would run to Home Depot and get some materials he would need and then do the job himself, This was around 2 p.m. and by 4 p.m. the job was complete, including the spackling and painting. It looks like nothing ever happened in that area - he blended it perfectly with some paint I had on hand. We had only been in the house for a few months. We were ecstatic as we could now go on vacation and know that our hole was fixed. We will use this company again for any of our repairs as they do stucco as well and our entire house is stucco.

i liked the way they finished the job in time. Drywall and painting are done very neatly. within a week one room was finished including painting drywall.

i would not be interested in working with this company.

After an hour from the time we mentioned had passed Icalled him but only got voice mail. After texting him about this appointment he said it would have to be next week! I told him NO, that was not acceptable. I never heard back from him. No text, no phone call, nothing. He essentionally quit the job.

I spoke to Denis with D & D Drywall and Painting for a quote. I needed to rebuild my closet, replace crawl space access door, repair large hole to wall in den and paint the entire den, hallway and small bedroom. Denis provided the most reasonable quote and gave me a time table for work to be completed. Denis and his assistant were very prompt, courteous, and professional. I was very impressed with the level of skill for the repairs and painting expertise. I actually fell in love with the results! The closet looks brand new and I can't stop admiring the beautiful improvements to my home!! I have several other projects planned and will always call D & D Drywall and Painting for their assistance. I was very pleased that they showed up on time, worked hard and completed the job just as promised!! Thank you again D&D Drywall and Painting!!!

These guys are professional and do a bang-up job, immediately. They do not delay starting and do excellent work and their craftmanship is superb. Their quotes for various work are very reasonable and hard to reject, working with good attitudes, respecting the owners property while following a work schedule and sticking to it.
