It is rare to find a company with the excellent service combined with the quality products that Custom Cabinet Studio offers. Jim Daniels exhibits a commitment to excellence that is unparalleled. In addition, Jim understands the value of communication with his customers - quotes and options are clearly explained in detail. He also let me know what the refinishing process on-site would involve, and the time frames for various steps of the project. He is always timely in his responses, communicates the project scheduling, and stays in touch throughout the entire process. In our initial contact by email, I sent photos of the existing cabinets so Jim could get an idea of the scope of the project. When he came out to measure, he already had a good idea of what was required. He also met the contractor who was doing the rest of the bathroom updates, and made a special effort to work within the schedule of the overall project. Jim provided valuable suggestions regarding design of the new vanity to fit in the existing space. The door designs and hardware options offered are extensive enough that we were easily able to find something to fit our desired style. Jim can match any paint color you choose for your cabinets, and was very flexible when we had to change colors due to a change in the flooring midway through the project. The new vanity box was installed first, and then the doors and hardware were held and installed after the rest of the room was mostly finished. This allowed us to avoid the chance for having the new doors banged up by the other contractors working in the space. Jim finished one of the doors and brought it to us so that we had a chance to look at it before completing the rest of the work. He also helped guide us through selecting hardware that would complement the style of the room, with sizes and placement that worked well with the design of the cabinet itself. The vanity, doors, drawers and hardware are all top quality - nice finish and feel, and the soft-close doors and drawers are first class! By this time we were so impressed that we also asked him to refinish our kitchen vanity to a painted hand-rubbed finish to match another piece of nearby furniture. The results are perfect! Throughout this project, Jim has taken excellent care to protect the surrounding areas where he was working - extensive taping and covering - and, thoroughly cleaning up at the end of each day he was here. Custom Cabinet Studio is now my first choice for future cabinet needs, and I highly recommend them!

The designer and builder, Tony, did a fantastic job at communication, asking us what we were looking for, and proposing modifications that would meet the required structural needs as well as provide an asthetic look and feel to match the room and home's decor. Each section of the shelving unit has a unique mix of heights and widths, giving the unit an overall random but finished look. He also suggested the lighting features and upgrades which made the piece truly unique and absolutely gorgeous! The wood is absolutely amazing and the grain is clearly visible, making the shelf so much nicer than anything you could purchase in a store. The finish is so well applied that you can't even tell that there is a top coat, yet it is strong and durable. As part of the installation, the team also assisted with drilling an extra hidden hole to accommodate our stereo cable, so no wires are visible. The job was completed within our requested timeframe, in order for us to be able to enjoy the bookcase as a Christmas gift. I have photos that I would like to attach, if that is possible.
