I called back after five days with no catch, concerned because we could hear squirrels very active from my kids room. I asked them to escalate to "kill traps" and was told that we needed to expect two weeks to catch the squirrels. On the sixth day when a squirrel was finally caught, I was informed that another hole had been chewed in my roof. At this point, feeling like they were causing more damage and Critter Control was unable to prevent this with their methods, I suggested they use "kill traps". At this point Bobby told me that Critter Control will not use Kill Traps. Frustrated that the process was taking long and more damage was being caused, I decided to pay my balance and move forward with another firm, A1 Wildlife Control. I would recommend Critter Control if you want to catch and release squirrels and don't mind potentially having more damage done to your house in the process. Otherwise I'd suggest going with a provider willing to kill the squirrels.
Description of Work: Had squirrels chewing into my siding and climbing into the gutters. Bobby came out, assessed, set up two outdoor traps. Cost was $189, plus $59 for removal of each animal. He also said there were three holes chewed which they could repair for $149 each.

Very good experience. Techinician arrived on time and patiently waited while I arrived late from an appointment. He captured the bat very quickly and inspected the house for possible points of entry. He also gave me suggestions on how to fix areas of possible entry.
Description of Work: Remove bat from inside home

The animal was never caught and there was distinct evidence the animal had been there. The repair work itself was not up to par. The charges of ~$160 per hole repair were extremely high ($480 in total) for poor workmanship done in less than 30 minutes. The communication during the trapping period was not good either. I had to call to get them out to rebait traps, etc.
Description of Work: Services were for trapping raccoon in attic plus repair to holes in roof and trim underneath roof line where raccooon had chewed thru to gain access

I loved working with these guys. Every single guy that came out made an effort to be courteous and friendly, talked with me about the problem and were always helpful. It took a long time to catch all the squirrels, as the last one (there were three) was very resistant to the traps. Once they were all caught, they set up the traps for another week just to make sure before closing the hole. They were very good about closing the hole with metal sheeting to deter future nests. They were also good about helping with prevention - as most houses have a fascia board gap that runs along the whole front of the house - they provide the service to close the gap and we will likely take them up on it, to prevent any infestations in the future since we live near a natural wooded area. By the way, all the traps were live traps, but they have lethal traps available too. It's up to the customer!
Description of Work: They set traps to catch the squirrels nesting in my attic space. Also closed up a hole chewed by squirrels once they were all caught.

WHILE THEY PROVIDED A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM, THE MADE A LOT OF MONEY DISPOSING OF THE CAPTURED ANIMALS BY LURING THEM INTO THE BAITED TRAPS. THEIR ONLY SOLUTION WAS TO PROVIDE ANOTHER WAY TO ATTRACT THE ANIMALS WHICH, OF COURSE, MEANS MORE MONEY FOR THEM. DID NOT PROVIDE A COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM.
Description of Work: HIRED TO SOLVE A PROBLEM WHERE SMALL ANIMALS WERE COMING UP FROM THE WOODS TO FEED ON GRUBS IN LAWN. BASICALLY, PROVIDED BAITED TRAPS THAT JUST ATTRACTED EVERY ANIMAL IN THE WOODS AT A CHARGE OF APPROX $40 PER ANIMAL.
