+ -1 moreWe finally called Tony at Contain-a-pet and he installed it less than two days later. Our big boy is now happily contained every day - and has not gotten out yet, two years later. Tony is punctual, professional, and helpful. I've called a few times over the past two years for questions, and Tony calls back so quickly, even after hours. Definitely recommended. I don't remember what we paid for the service.
Description of Work: Our dog is quite an escape artist, and had worked his way through two different fences - chain link and aluminum.

Description of Work: Had a good experience with the initial fence installation and it worked well, with the exception that the box on the collar of my 20 pound dog is huge and gets in the way. The problem is that with subsequent calls, for a collar replacement and, now, for a new battery- which went out in less than a year, it takes forever to get any response. We are extremely unsatisfied.

+ -1 moreAfter 2 no call-no shows in 1 week finally got the fence fixed.
Description of Work: Jeremy says he has had trouble getting the parts from the manufacturer which puts a MAJOR strain on the customers who are wanting their fences fixed (ours went dead after a lightening strike). Very nice guy but would super appreciate calls when he doesnt show up for scheduled appointments.

+ 0 moreA great experience. Punctual, reasonable, pleasant. Works perfectly. Our dog was trained by the first day he turned it on. It worked exactly as he told us. He helped us train our dog. It was very easy. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: He came out for the estimate. When we decided to do it he came and installed it then showed us the easy things to do to train our dog. He then came out the next week and turned it on and it worked perfectly.

Description of Work: I had my system installed 2 years ago. it is prone to lightening damage. i've had it repaired once. today had a service call b/c fence not working. Jeremy came out and found that someone mistakenly shut the system off. He charged me $75 to flip the switch on. stated he had to travel to me all the way from kannapolis so with the prices of gas and his time he had to charge the $75. I live in weddington. he argued that his prices beat his competitors. i will not use him in the future if i can avoid it- cost of the system at beginning was high, 2nd repair was high, 3rd time to turn a switch to on position was $75. i was completely irked and he had no consideration for what i've paid so far. stating on the site here he does not charge for travel is bunk - there was not a thing wrong with my system today and he insisted on $75 fee. unbelievable.

+ -1 moreJeremy Scarafino is polite, professional, courteous and caring. He took time to describe in detail (in the pouring rain) how the fence would be installed, where & how the receiver would work, where & how the transmitter would be located.
Description of Work: On installation day, Jeremy Scarafino and his crew quietly and proficiently buried the wire and flagged the perimeter. Jeremy spent time with our neighbors and us to thoroughly review the five day training schedule for our 3 cats. On the fifth day, Jeremy returned to implement the system and helped locate a wayward cat that hid under three different neighbor's decks. His knowledge, expertise and compassionate for the safety of our pets is above and beyond our expectations. The Contain-a-pet system is working well and I would highly recommend it for your pet.

+ -1 moreJeremy Scarasino was the 3rd pet containment system installer we consulted out of 4. We decided on Contain-A-Pet because of Jeremy's professionalism, dog training abilities, knowledge of all the systems, but mainly because of his honesty. Jeremy's little girl was very ill the Saturday he was to install the system. He called to let us know he would have to reschedule to the following day, which was Sunday. He came and installed the system on a very cold and wet Sunday. Once Jeremy had installed the system, he taught us how to work with our 2 year old Aussie for 15 minutes a day for the next week. At the end of the week, Jeremy came back and placed the electronic collar on Levi. After working with him a short while, we walked down the street and Levi stayed inside the fenced area. When Jeremy left and told us to we could call him 24/7 if we had any concern or problem. Our 12 week old Blue Heeler will be ready for her collar soon.
Description of Work: Installed braided, made in the USA digital fencing. Trained us how to train dog for 15 minutes daily for one week. Came back at the end of the week and worked with our Aussie and put electronic collar on. Left the premises several times and Levi remained inside fencing. Levi is no longer an escape artist. Prior to Jeremy coming, Levi would dart out the door anytime it was opened. Since getting Contain-A-Pet, we often have to invite Levi to come outside. He has become a much happier and more obedient dog now that he has Contain-A-Pet. We feel this is the best money we have EVER spent! Knowing that Levi can be outside safely is the best feeling in the world to us!
