Description of Work: They installed a new high-efficiency heat pump and air handler. There were no issues, it went as well as it could go. total install time was between five and six hours.

Description of Work: They replaced a heat pump. The service was professional and everything was completed in the time scheduled. They even relocated the heat pump to the side of house instead of right beside the deck. We couldn't be happier. I don't normally write reviews but they earned it!

Description of Work: We purchased a deal from Angie's List for a diagnostic visit. The cost of the visit ($59) was to be deducted from the final bill if the recommended work was completed. At the time both our HVAC/Furnace and Electric Water Heater were broken and they sit next to each other in our basement. I had numerous companies come out and look at both pieces of equipment. Absolute Comfort, along with other repair companies, each blamed the other piece of equipment. HVAC guys said all the flooding in the basement was water heater, plumbers said it was HVAC. Finally I had someone from Horne come out and look at both issues together and fixed the problem which involved both pieces of equipment. I did not feel like Absolute Comfort spent enough time really looking for the problem. He saw water leaking from the water heater and assumed that was the only leak. When I called him back after watching water come rushing out of the furnace he took a closer look, but still did not fix the problem completely. Very nice, just not thorough.

Description of Work: Steve (the technician) quickly diagnosed that the problem (i.e., heating cycle would not start) was with the pressure switch. The switch was under a Lennox parts warranty; so Steve obtained a replacement from the Lennox distributor, replaced it, and confirmed that the heating system then worked. My only charge was for the labor.

We called absolute for a 2nd opinion and they were able to replace the entire unit for the same price. |They showed up when they said they would, honored their quote, and were very professional. |Would recommend easily.

Description of Work: HVAC install in basement. Price was more than competitive and the consultation was refreshingly honest. Gave us a number of options and informed us of the pros and cons of each. Never pressured us in to buying something we did not need and the installation went not only smoothly but he also found ways to exceed the expectations. Very highly recommended

Description of Work: There was a misunderstanding pertaining to the service I paid for and what I expected to be performed. The technician was great and provided A++ customer service. He acknowledged the misunderstanding and performed what I had expected to be completed without any additional charge. Customer service like that is hard to come by anymore and I would recommend this company to everybody needing any heating and air work done.
