Steve was great - showed up on time, called ahead, very nice fella! He determined that the problem was with the thermostat, not the heat strips. Although I had, through the Angie's List appointment purchase, a $60 credit toward any work done he and I determined that I could replace the thermostat myself at a substantial savings. I hope this review doesn't get him in trouble, but I did replace it myself and because he was so honest and helpful Absolute Air will be our service and maintenance provider from now on.

They were very responsive. They were not the cheapest, but they seemed to be most reasonable. I got the price for the same identical product from another company and it was thousands of dollars higher.

Steve was professional, responsive and explained in detail what the problem was. Thankfully it just required a tune up which he did. We're now good to go for the winter cold!

I ended up not needing the deal and had it refunded. This is no reflection of the provider.

I called and he set up an appointment but never came out to do the work. I found a new company to come tom so I would like my money back for this deal.

Excellent service was provided and I am very happy with the new system.

Could not be more pleased with the response, reasonable price and efficiency of the repairman. Good to see there are really good honest companies out there that cares about the customer.

I wanted a yearly check on unit for the winter. I was told they would only honor if there was a possible repair. Very deceiving special !

absolute air was very prompt in returning calls and arriving to provide an estimate (especially since the air went out Saturday night and they were kind enough to come on a sunday) their price was fair/competitive. they were very busy, but they actually provided a temporary unit so there was cool air until they were able to install the actual new unit when their schedule allowed. I'd never heard of this, but was grateful for the service since there was very little downtime. once the apt was made to place the actual new unit, they were prompt and efficient. unfortunately, there were some problems with the unit that required absolute air to come back a few times in order to get it running properly, but they always answered my calls and came out in a timely fashion to fix the problem. they did finally get it running properly and I haven't had a problem since. I was impressed with their professionalism, their arrival outside of normal business hours to help, and their offer to provide a temporary unit until they were able to install the real one. I'm not sure exactly why the unit didn't work properly the first few times, and I'm sure that was frustrating for all people involved, but the technician did try to explain it to me. ( I didn't quite follow) but point was they always answered my calls, came out to address the problem, and did their best to make it right! (which they did) I would recommend this company to others in need of air conditioning service or a new unit like myself.

He came out quickly and didn't try to up-sell. To my pleasant surprise or even shock, he said the problem was minor, he thawed out the lines and got it working again. I didn't pay a cent more than I already paid for the cheap coupon from Angie's List. $59 for what I thought would be hundreds (and probably still would be with other providers). This was my first experience using Angie's List, so I highly recommend it. I never would have found them on my own.

He was very thorough and very professional. His previous job did run later than expected which in-turn would make him late for my appointment. He called and advised but the time he was to come now conflicted with a meeting I had. He said he would work around my schedule and come when was best for me. He came at the new time I set that day. I was well pleased with Shawn.

Air wasn't working. Guy came out and told us there was a stick in the fan. He took it apart and got the stick. Didn't charge anything over the $59 fee for coming out. Talked to us about maintenance. Would call again.

The guy was great. He cleaned the unit for an hour to get it spotless, he checked everything out. No pressure to buy some other service. He was awesome frankly.

It went well. The mechanic informed me that due to the age of my HVAC unit (25 yrs), that it may be best to let the unit run its due course and replace it. I thought the advice was very helpful and will now prepare to replace the unit.

Arrived on time. Did just what I wanted done. Assessed the future needs, size etc.

Technician (Steve) was punctual, knowledgeable, and educated me on older system we have. I purchased a 'deal' for $59 that paid for the technician to check and evaluate the system that included a voucher for $60 against repairs. Steve said everything looked good but the problem we were having is due to the fan motor being 'on it's way out'. He suggested the fan motor be replaced but said to be absolutely sure that was the problem, just turn the system off when the fan overheats, then when it cools, turn the system back on. They have the motor in-house and when it fails completely, call them and they will be right out. Couldn't have asked for more. Excellent job!

This company did a great job! Service and professionalism were excellent. Shawn called to follow up just recently and I would definitely recommend using this company for any of your needs, 100%. Also, I was not even charged for the service due to some confusion with the appointment time, which shows much integrity and pride in customer service and makes me feel very valued as a customer. The first time I was serviced was an emergency for my tenant, the A/C was out and I called Shawn and he had someone out there immediately. Not many service people you can get to do that! Excellent, he was very professional and I strongly recommend him to anyone and will use him for my future needs. He did only what was needed and on a timely matter.

I was surprised that my phone call was answered late on a Friday night after not being answered by two other organizations. After discussing my need,a time was set to come Saturday to look at the problem. The technician arrived on time, entered my home using clean boot covers, and determined the problem in short order. He corrected the problem quickly and charged me reasonably for the work. I asked if they do any gas furnace work, and he was able to look at my gas fireplace and make a repair he did not charge me for. I was impressed with his knowledge and work ethic and will definitely use them again.

When another AC company told me I needed to replace both my HVAC unit and duct work, I was shocked and obviously nervous about how much it would cost. I felt I was being pressured to replace a unit just because it was old. I got several bids (6 in total), and Shawn was the first company that I felt wasn't trying to pressure me into something I didn't want to do. He was very honest and said that I really didn't have to do anything right now if I didn't want to. After thinking it over, we decided we wanted to proceed with the replacement since it was an older system and I didn't want to put money into fixing and cleaning it. The bid from Absolute Comfort was very competitive, and better than all others especially for the equipment he was suggesting. I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions, which Shawn was very patient in answering. They came out and did an superb job top to bottom. His co-workers were very courteous and respectful. The work was top notch, and he did some extra things that we didn't even talk about in the original bid that he didn't charge me for, which was very kind of him. All in all, I could not be happier, and I plan to use them again when it comes time to replace my lower unit. Don't let the bigger companies trick you into thinking that they do things "better" or more correctly. This is a great company and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Steve arrived as scheduled and performed inspection, determined that coolant was low, so he added a pound and charged $70. I was very pleased with his professional manner and would use him again.
