Description of Work: I purchased the voucher on a Thursday and filled out the request to be contacted within 2 business days. as this request fell between a weekend, I spent 5 days w/o AC service. Still no communication from the company. I looked their number up on line called them and no one picked up after calling 3 times. I checked my message boxed several times a day and even before filing this claim and still not response.

Description of Work: Our condo was not cooling well on the second floor, so we saw a deal with this company on Angies list. We called to see when they could come to see what the problem might be. They said they would try to get there that day, so we bought the coupon. They showed up that day and found the issue, fixed it and charged a reasonable price. I was most impressed that they came the same day we called.

Description of Work: I thought that the service was for an A/C tune-up. When the vendor reached out to me, he clarified that it was for a service call (and not an A/C tune-up), which was fine. However, I scheduled an A/C tune-up with the vendor for Monday, August 18, and decided that I would use the voucher at a later time. The vendor never showed up, never called me to reschehdule, etc.

Description of Work: Had just decided to purchase a Big Deal diagnostic service package using Absolute Comfort. It was the evening before Memorial Day and our AC unit for our second floor stopped working. I called the morning of Memorial Day, not really expecting to reach anyone but Shawn answered and after listening to my description of symptoms he offered a couple of possible diagnoses and said he could be out to my house that afternoon. I was at work so was unable to meet him but my wife was very impressed with his courtesy and professionalism. He quickly found the problem, repaired it as well as performing an inspection and cleaning of both units. He also left a brief written description of the work performed and some recommendations regarding our aging system. |Very satisfied and would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Description of Work: It was a great experience. Shawn is a very polite and engaging person. He is very knowledgable and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. He didn't seem hurried and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Absolute Comfort Heating and Air.

Description of Work: Service contract plus repairs to ductwork. Price for service contract much more reasonable than company we used to use. Very thorough in reviewing problem we were having with our duct system. Performed repairs. Came back to fix a repair that wasn't completed to my expectations after I noticed it with no complaints and no additional charge (although it would have been better to fix it completely right the first time). Very thorough in explaining any issues they uncovered, and friendly service technicians. Would be helpful if service technicians could call when 30 minutes away or if going to be late as they were more than an hour late to one of appointments.

Description of Work: Shawn Shive, President of Absolute Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning really did a great job for our situation. We have a house that's 6 years old and have had chronic issues with our AC units needing add freon to both units year after year. We initaly had another company come out to recharge the units, and in that process found leaks in the coils. That same company told us our units were no longer under warranty, and we should replace both AC systems, which would cost us over $10,000. I called around for a couple opinions, and finally found ACHAC. I worked with Shawn at A.C.H.A.C and the distributor to find out that both coils were actually under warranty, and I would only have to pay for labor for one of the units. Shawn helped coordinate the entire project, showed up on time, and did a great job replacing units. He cleaned up so well you couldn't tell we had any type of work done in our house. His price was literally half of what the other company wanted. It was very refreshing not to feel like you were getting ripped off. I highly recommend this company for your residential HVAC needs. They also run a great and affordable maintenance program that is much more affordable then the other companies I've talked with. So in the end, I have two functional AC units, brand new coils, and spent zero $ out of pocket because of the coverage. I use Angie's List a lot, but this is the first time for me to leave feedback. Highly recomend this company.
