Description of Work: I got the Angie's List deal, whole house painting for $1499. The actual cost was considerably more due to dry wall touch up and additional square footage. They don't subtract out the area for doors and windows when figuring wall square footage, so their square footage numbers were higher than mine. Just know that if you are planning on buying one of these deals, you are likely to end up paying extra. | |Overall, they did a pretty good job. Some of the dry wall wasn't as flat as I'd expect given the extra charges.

Description of Work: Sam came out and gave his estimate for my exterior painting project and I had forgotten to mention the big deal. When I emailed him about the big deal I was told that it was only valid on interior projects. So I returned the big deal to Angie's List and did not use it.

Description of Work: I contacted Sam from Charlotte paint to ask if the paint included would also apply to stain as that's what we have one our house. Sam came out to measure our house and informed us that stain is much more expensive than paint and supposedly takes a lot more. I've tried several times to contact him again regarding a refund as its just out of our price range at this time and haven't had any luck getting him to return my calls or emails. That's why I've turned to you for my refund. I appreciate your speedy reply to my request for a full refund. Thank you.

Description of Work: Sam (the owner) and his colleagues did an excellent job. They moved my furniture off the walls and back, and painted most of the inside of my house one Sunday. If it was possible, I'd give him an A++ for value. Very professional. My only reservation was that there are a couple blemishes in the paint job, so if you want a perfect paint job done, maybe not be for you.

Description of Work: I saw a Deals & BuyNow deal for exterior painting for this company and was going to buy, but we were forced out of town for a family illness before we could purchase. When we had returned it had expired, and now we are very happy that we did not buy it. When we returned I e mailed this company and explained the situation and wanted to get an estimate to paint our house. I sent on 4/13/13, on 4/14/13 (which was Sunday) we got an automated reply saying that someone would contact us soon. I am not sure what they consider soon, but it has now been 5 days and not a word. How can people give them an A rating with this kind of customer service? I am going to pursue another company to get our house painted, and I would advise staying away from this company. Unbelievable.

Description of Work: Sam and his team showed up when they said they would, reviewed the areas of work prior to starting with me and completed the job in a timely fashion. The painting team was professional and courteous and performed the job well. Thank you Sam.
