Wonderful experience! My front door has 9 glass panels and I was so nervous about tinting it. I wish I had done it sooner. The final product is so fantastic that I had them complete the dining room as well. I will definitely call them for additional tinting.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at Charlotte Glass Tinting. Rob (I believe that was his name) came out and we walked around my vehicle to make note of any existing scratches/marks and to talk about what the service entailed. I filled out my paperwork and he got started. The waiting area had a TV was clean, comfortable and furnished with coffee and water. Scarlett was professional, friendly, I enjoyed our conversation and she was personable. They offer tons of other services that if I ever decide I am in the market for that Charlotte Glass Tinting is where I will be.

It went great and was done just the way Rob said it would be. Rob is a great guy to deal with. He took his time matching my new window film to the existing film his company had applied about 17 years ago. We needed new film because we had replaced our large foyer window due to a broken seal. We also replaced our full glass storm door and needed film on it as well. Rob took care of it all and it looks great. So glad the company was still in operation since our last job with them was 17 years ago. We were happy with their service then and wanted to use them again.

They were excellent and the product has really reduced the glare and sunlight - which is what we needed.

They performed this service on our Matthews home and they were excellent, prompt and very responsive.

I looked on the internet at hundreds of film choices. They ordered the exact privacy film I chose and it was received in less than a week. They were flexible with installation date and time. The film was installed beautifully, and all without charging me up front. They did a great job and left no mess behind.

I can't tell you how pleased I am. I first talked on the phone with Scarlet and got an idea of what the cost going to be. She was very nice and help answered all my questions. I got to the store and both her and Rob were there to help me. Rob went over the everything with me and made me feel confident in what was going to be done to my windows on the car. Rob and Scarlet both were very professional and the job they did was very professional !! I would go back to them again and again !! Thank again Scarlet and Rob !

Everything was EXCELLENT!! The car was taken to be worked on immediately after I arrived and the work was done quicker than estimated. The tint looks great. The tint on the storm door of the house also looks great. It does a great job of keeping the heat from blazing through that door during the day time. This is a very hardworking, honest and trustworthy company. I would highly recommend them.

I called Charlotte Glass Tinting (CGT) for an estimate on tinting 2 cars - the side windows and rear glass. After shopping around, I decided to give them a try so I scheduled 1 of the cars (my Son's car) for Friday of that week. It was nice that I could get an appointment so fast! 2 days later my calendar became clear and I called them to see if I could move my appointment up to Thursday. CGT said that would be no problem - they could bring in another worker to accommodate. On the day of the install, when we arrived at their location, I came to the conclusion that the front windshield would need to be tinted also to block all the heat coming off the black dashboard. When I informed them that I needed to have the additional tint - they were still able to accommodate me, and didn't need to reschedule. This was wonderful! I picked the middle tier 3M Color Stable film - and when the car came out of the shop - the tinting looked great! They did a great job of getting all the glass tinted without any flaws that I can find. Having the the 10% off coupon also helped with the final cost. No regrets at all - I will use them again!

Our double front door gave us very little privacy. We used Charlotte Glass Tinting to install a frosted 3M film on the two doors and two sidelights. We are very pleased with our experience dealing with them, the quality of the work, and how nice the end result looks. There's a faux leaded glass panel between two outer pieces of glass and the film really brings out the leaded glass look. Neighbors who were skeptical about our doing this later remarked how well it turned out. We are now considering added some frosting to our shower doors for added privacy.

All went well. Price was competitive and the work was well done.

Scheduled the visit, arrived on time,and quickly completed. Professional. A couple of weeks later I received the warranty info from 3M.

After the repairs where completed I found a dent on the drivers door and when I pointed this out to the owner he denied causing any damage. Tried to explain that this is a brand new vehicle and there was no damage on there. He kept making excuses saying there was nothing in his shop that could have caused the damage. It turns out I was talking to the owner of the shop and he got very upset when and accused me of wanting something for nothing. I assured him I am very capable of paying for my bill as the only reason I drove over 40 min from the house was to use a quality company to do the tint work on the vehicle. His wife was very polite and apologized several times, but neither would admit to the damage. Mrs. Porter insisted that they did not want to charge me for the work. I did not file a claim with my insurance carrier as I do not want my rates to increase. The repair to the vehicle would easily cost $800-$1000. And since the shop would not admit to the damage, I'm sure he has no intention of repairing or paying for the damages he has caused. I would never recommend them for anything just based on the poor customer service and the unprofessional behavior expressed by the owner Mr. Porter. If you need anything tinted, find another shop.

Professional. Knows what they are doing. Knows what application works where. Careful to explain the potential problems. A small problem with some bubbles that remained, they immediately replaced film to the area. Easy to work with. Available.

Whole job took six (6) hours. Pleased with the look and finish of the installation.

They came, measured and installed the next day. Wonderful service.

We contracted with a glass replacement company to replace 28 broken plate glass panels in our retail center. They used Charlotte Glass Tinting to do all the tint work before the windows were replaced.

The estimator & later the installer were both on time, very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They had the answers to all of my questions.

David provided us with a quote to supply & install window tinting film to our great room window. He gave me a price for the top specification & one lower level of film. He took the time to discuss the differences & how much light would actually be reduced. The higher level of film is barely noticable but offers a better level of heat & UVa protection. We decided to go fo this option & we scheduled an appointment for installation approximately 10 days later. The installer arrived on time with everything he needed. We moved the furniture away from the work area. If we had not seen him install the film we would not know it is there. It looks great & the work was untertaken without any mess or drama.

I made an appointment to have work done on my car this morning and he changed the price he confirmed via the phone the previous day. He quoted me $165 to do the four windows and the rear window. When I came in this morning it was abruptly changed to $190. I told him I won't deal with anyone who changes prices. He lost my buisness for both my cars, along with one of my co-workers who was going to get his two car's tinted that will no longer be using their services. So this company has lost buisness on four vehicles over a $35 increase.

Charlotte Glass Tinting parked their work vehicle in our new driveway (brand new home we moved into 05/20/11). Installed the tinted film on the porch window. Vehicle leaked fluids (transmission, brake, oil, not sure) onto the driveway. Technician came back to try to remove the stain - could not remove it fully. Company has not responded to a request to have insurance company review or to have the driveway re-sealed to remove the stain. Our brand-new driveway is no longer new for our home that is a month old...Major unhappiness since we see the stain (lightened, but still there) every time we enter or leave our home.
