CertaPro Painters of South Charlotte

The main contact for CertaPro (Joe) came to my house and quoted doing the work. The work was contracted and scheduled for a time when we would be away. They started on a Monday and before we left to go on vacation, they were finished and out of the house. The work was excellent, the mess everyone speaks of was not there, but we did not move furniture in place until after the dust settled. We were totally pleased with the efforts of Joe's painters and look forward to having them perform other painting needs in 2015.

Joe Cardone got back to me right away, was able to schedule the work on very short notice (we were having company coming to town for a funeral), and got the job totally done in one day. The price included paint that they purchased using their professional discount - they are a Sherwin Williams shop, which was perfect since I had selected SW paint. Joe ended up working with us on that, and we were very happy. They cleaned up everything beautifully and other than two beautiful rooms, could hardly tell they had been there.

We have a 4th bedroom that has always been used as a storage room and now we want to turn it into a guest room. The room has never been painted other than when the house was originally built 23 years ago. We have used Joe twice in the past and have been very happy with his work so I called for a quote. He gave us a price that instantly vanquished any thoughts we had of painting the room on our own. Not only was the price reasonable, but they could do it the very next day. Deal! Joe and his crew are very professional. They arrive on time, get the job done and leave everything very clean and tidy. All three of my experiences with CertaPro Painters of South Charlotte have been nothing but positive. They will be the first call I make when we have our next painting project!

It was an absolutely wonderful experience, from the first meeting with Joe till the final walk through. Joe is a true professional along with his crew. I was so imprssed with not only their professionalism, but with their work that I am going to scheduling another appointment for them to come and paint my kitchen.

Interior and some exterior painting and repairs were all completed as agreed. The quality of the interior work is excellent. Owner Joe Cardone clearly explained what work was needed and gave an accurate quote. The work was completed on time and under budget.

The work was fine. He did a good job. Although, he painted our ceiling with our wall color. As soon as I had pointed it out, he painted it back to white. They were prompt.

This group is great. Joe was honest about where we should use which type of paint. The team that came out were nice and courteous of our family. When they didn't finish on a Friday near a holiday, they came out early Saturday to wrap up.

Joe and his crew were a delight to work with. Joe first came to the house to meet with me, talk about the project and take measurements. His services come with the help of an interior designer to help with color choices - much needed and appreciated. The quote for the job was sent to me very quickly, was approved, and the work began about three weeks later. The crew (between 4 and 6 people depending on the day) were extremely polite, professional and efficient. They also seemed to enjoy working together which may seem like a strange thing to have in a review, but it made the whole experience that much better for me. The finished product is beautiful. The crew was great with the details (painting around moldings, etc.) and added a few little things for me (like patching areas where i had removed curtain rods from window frames) that were not part of the quote. They also made sure that the house was clean (no errant paint drops) before they left. The crew leader was great...making sure I understood exactly what the plan was at all times. I have spoken to Joe several times since that job finished as I am also hiring him to paint the kitchen and bathrooms. That (a follow-on job) probably says more than anything about the great quality of their work and my interaction with everyone from the company.

Joe and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were professional, polite, and efficient. Joe went above and beyond to completThe crew did an excellent job preparing the walls prior to painting, including but not limited to filling in a number of dime-sized holes and sanding. They did a beautiful job with the painting itself and cleaned up everything when finished. I am so pleased with my decision to work with CertaPro Painters of South Charlotte and am thrilled about how fresh and clean my newly painted walls look.

Highly recommend Certa Pro Painters of South Charlotte. They did interior painting for us about 4 years ago. When it was time to paint the exterior, they were our first choice. They did an outstanding job. They spent time pressure washing & prepping before painting. Replaced damaged wood in 3 areas. The painting crew was thorough and did a great job on the painting. They cleaned up at the end of each day and the crew supervisor, Alex, provided an update on work progress at the end of each day and went over the schedule for the next day. Alex was the crew leader 4 years ago when we had interior painting done. I believe having the same supervisor for both these jobs over a span of 4 years says volumes about the quality of a business. Certa Pro may not be the cheapest provider, but they are consistently excellent at what they do and easy to do business with. We plan to call them again for more interior work in the near future.

The owner, JoeCardone, came out to look at the work involved & give me a quote. He was very helpful & pointed areas that needed corking, etc. He told me what they would do & gave me a quote. He called to let me know that his men were coming to power wash the areas to be painted & would, depending on the weather, paint the next day when the trim had dried. The men that power washed & painted were excellent. They were quick, efficient & did a great job. Joe & his crew are a first class operation. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him, down the road, for additional work.

I met with Joe Cardone, the owner, to get a quote to paint the bedrooms. He was on time for our appointment and was straightforward with his recommendations on how to go about updating the house we were purchasing. We started with the bedrooms which needed the ceilings, walls, trim work, and doors painted -- a 2 day job. We scheduled the dates to begin just after closing. We ran into problems with the closing, but Joe worked with me and my changing schedule to get the rooms painted. Once his team arrived they got to work -- they are efficient, paint with an attention to detail, and stayed in contact with me. They called to tell me when they were done the first day so I could lock up and I met them there on time the next morning. The bedrooms look spectacular! I can't wait to get them back in the house to do more painting!

Flavio and his crew did a marvelous job. In one instance they went above and beyond. They were punctual and very professional and efficient. I have always done my own painting and was nervous about quality. They paint as well if not better than I paint. Joe does a good job of communicating about the job. They really wanted me to be satisfied and I was. I hope I can paint again but if not, I know who to call.

I contracted with CertaPro of South Charlotte to paint a few rooms in a house I recently purchased. I did a walk through with Joe to discuss my needs. He provided a thorough explanation of what his company would do and also provided a free consultation with an interior designer who helped me pick out the colors for the rooms. On the day scheduled for painting, Joe came out with the crew and walked through the job. The rooms were painted professionally and everything was left in order.

Very good work. We had peeling paint and inspection revealed that a previous painter had done insufficient priming and prepping of this porch when it was new, and that had led to problems. Joe Cardone came and inspected everything, explained our options, and agreed to work in cooperation with our roofer. The 4-person crew arrived as scheduled and worked thoroughly and efficiently. They prepped, caulked, primed, and painted, accurately matching the paint on the rest of our house. Afterwards, they did a great job of cleaning up, leaving no trace of their presence--except a beautiful porch! Joe made sure we were happy with the work and even gave us a box of goodies to enjoy on our now lovely porch.

The job went well. They were efficient and we were pleased with the end result and price.

They were great. Joe came out to give the estimate at a time that was good for my schedule. They were priced competitively, but provided better consultation. We were very happy with the paint team. They were respectful of my home and my family. They even wiped down our wood floors in the foyer to make sure they had no paint on them. They started on a Friday and didn't finish that day. I assumed at the end of the day that it would take Monday too (and I would have to take off from work), but they came out that Saturday morning to finish up. Just a great all over experience.

We will be repainting again in the next two years and we will probably go to them for an estimate because i felt good about the way they handled it. One thing that does stick out my mind is that the owner of the company came and did the estimate, was also here several times under two days that took them to finish the job. I appreciated that i started with the owner and finished with the owner.

Joe (owner) and I first discussed repainting the entire house but I decided to reside (a terrible mistake) but wanted Joe's team to do the exterior paint. They were here the first stretch of weather that was warm and dry enough. Joe went out of his way to stay in contact with the siding company so as to be able to schedule us when the siding was completed. The crew was very friendly and thorough. Communication was excellent before the painting started and each day of the project. They were respectful of our situation and worked around our schedules and dogs. Job was completed in the time said up front. Even went out of their way to make sure our house numbers were painted.

We have used CertaPro in the past so when we needed to get our house ready to sell, we called Joe. He gave us an estimate and helped advise us on what would be most helpful in making the house ready for sale, including what color to paint that would be neutral. My husband asked specifically for Alex to be the supervisor on the job as he had done a really good job on the previous work done for us. We had the entire inside painted, including closets. Wallpaper needed to be removed from the kitchen and a bath and any marks or holes on walls were repaired. The house looks great and anyone buying it wiil be able to move right into a "like new looking" home. CertaPro did a great job and we will use them for any painting needs at our new house

Joe responed to request for estimate quickly and followed up promptly. Crew arrived on time and was courteous and professional. Would use again.

I am an HOA board member of a small townhouse community. We decided to "refresh our look" as a community by contracting with a vendor to paint the front door and portico areas of each of the 24 units in our community. I reviewed Angie's List (naturally) for potential vendors and CertaPro Painters of South Charlotte caught my eye: for reputation, quality results, and customer focus. Based on our experience with this vendor, all of the above is true. Our community looks much nicer now due to the fresh painting and excellent job CertaPro performed. Joe the owner is very customer focused and continuously provided me (the point of contact for the HOA) with updates or any potential changes. I especially appreciated Joe's willingness to meet me after work and at my home - these kinds of actions speak volumes about this provider and his focus on "getting things right" for the client and making sure all parties are on the same page. I would highly recommend this provider and we would definitely use their services again. If I personally have any painting needs in the future, I will call CertaPro Painters of South Charlotte - the pricing is right, the quality of their work is excellent, and their customer focus is superior. (About the pricing; other Angie's List members should know that we paid about $1,940 for the labor and $260 for the paint itself. Be advised that YOU the consumer make the decision on the type of paint the vendor uses for the job. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. We selected the highest quality and longest lasting ("Duration") paint. We may have paid slightly more for the better quality paint, but in the end, it was totally worth it.)

Their attention to detail was spectacular. If not for them, the primary contractor would probably still be ignoring us. There was a methodical plan to who they scheduled and when. One of the bathrooms had a lot of damaged wallboard from poorly installed and removed wallpaper. Their finish work was fantastic and put my previous home painting skills to shame.
