Carolina's Grout Pro's

I do not recommend this company based on our experience with the quality of work. We paid $1,730 to have the tile in our master bath and additional 3 baths cleaned and sealed. The work was completed January 18, 2024. Michael was on time, worked the entire day, then showed me the bathrooms after he was done. I noticed our master bath tub was not cleaned or sealed. I asked why, and he said it was not in the quote. I had sent photos of the tub and mentioned it in the video I sent, but when I looked closely at the quote, there is no specific mention of the tub area. I am not sure why he did not think to ask why we would be getting every other piece of tile in our house done, but not the tub area. So, I asked how much it would cost to get it done, and he said he did not have time. I asked how to do it, and he gave me instructions on what to buy to do it myself. My husband decided it would be best if they did it, so I asked for a quote. The quote was $400 - I am assuming it was high because he did not want to come back (he is in Charlotte, we are in Greensboro). Fast forward a month, and we notice the sealant is coming off in our shower. I schedule Michael to come back to fix it, and said I would pay $200 for him to do the tub area seeing he was going to be here for warranty work. I never got a response on the offer. He came to fix the sealant March 12, 2024. My husband was here, and said Michael was on his phone most of the time, seemed distracted, and is pretty sure nothing was done. He left us some sealant, told my husband how to apply it and left. Today is April 30, 2024, and I am attaching photos of what our shower currently looks like. Regardless of using the recommended cleaner, running the fan during and after showers, and using a squeegee, we have mold again, which was our initial problem. I have not reached out to him this time, because I feel like it is a waste of time. It is an inconvenience every time they come out because we cannot use our shower for 2-3 days before or after, and someone has to take time off to be here. We are really disappointed. We were impressed how the shower looked after, but it seems to have been a waste of $1,700 because we are back where we started with an unsealed shower growing mildew. We loved that Michael is a former marine (one of the reasons we contracted with him), and we thought he would show pride in his work, but it does not appear he cares.

Carolinas Grout Pro caused an issue with our plumbing and took no ownership to try to resolve.

Great team, fair pricing, and (unlike others we have used in the past) they cleaned up perfectly. Plus the work made our two bathrooms look like they are brand new.

Michael did an outstanding job of replacing old chipped and missing tile in our laundry area with porcelain tile. He s a perfectionist and it s apparent that he takes great pride in his work. The outcome was beautiful. We would definitely work with Michael again. He is a true professional, his price is reasonable and his work is impeccable.

Hired CGP to clean and reseal two showers. They did a great job- showed up right on time, explained everything, took time to make sure they didn't cause any damage to the rest of the house. Best of all, my old showers look brand new again.

I was a little concerned that re-grouting a shower floor tile would be too smaller job but no. We will definitely call on Michael and the team for the next tile job we have planned. Michael also organized and sub contracted the installation of a new glass shower door to we didn't have worry selecting a supplier. Everything came together wonderfully.

Michael knows everything there is to know about tile and the surfaces that surround them. My shower and kitchen backsplash have never looked better. From start to finish, first phone contact, estimate, onsite work and finished product were all professional, courteous and excellent. I highly recommend.
