Carolina Seamless Gutters and Roofing

Kevin and his crew are Incredibly difficult to work with. Tried to install scratched black gutters on our home after the owners 2 workers dragged them across my rough terrain. Also, The machine they use to cut the gutters leave a stamped impression on the metal as well as square bare marks every 12" & Kevin tried to tell me that this is Normal. They thought black spray paint was the answer. No sir it's not. Who wants scratched up black gutters!?! Upon leaving our house they broke branches off of our newer Japanese Maple tree that cost us $250 It took us awhile to select the perfect one. Kevin the owner said he will compensate us but has yet to do so. Buyer beware. Kevin tries to intimidate customers and has an incredibly bad attitude.

Kevin arrived the same day I called and had a crew out to make the repair the very next day. I was impressed with the quality and speed of service, would hire again!

When they were originally were installing the gutters they ran out of the cover materials for the gutters. They said that they had sent a representative out to complete the work. Which never happened. We've gone back and forth for years. I finally called another company to come help since we are now having issues with the rain water flooding into our garage. They took photos and showed where the work was not done properly. There were nails that were pulled out. Also just a metal strip that had be put in place where they ran out of webbing and there were spots with nothing covering them. The work was done totally wrong. The rest of the house is done fine, except for where they ran out of materials in the front of the home.

For the most part everything was installed correctly the first time. Once the issue was addressed with the owner he made sure he came out to look at it and ensured that it was completed accurately and within a timely manner. He was great to work with!

Kevin came out for a quick estimate. The crew was slightly late, but they provided good service. Kevin updated me on their arrival. The price appears a bit high for less than one hour's worth of work. However, the quality of their craft seems to hold up.

Service was great! I appreciate that Kevin was to the point; he was able to come out to the house next day to provide an estimate, within a few weeks he was able to execute. There was a slight hiccup in that the workers were not aware they had to clean the gutters on the detached garage, but Kevin corrected the issue instantaneously which is admirable. I would use this service again.

The company arrived on time. Worker pleasant and professional. Job looked great upon completion. The first time I saw it rain brought the problem to light. Rain running down the back of the gutter unit not into the gutter in about a 1-2 foot section. i called the company, sent them the video and photos I had taken. They said they would be out the next week to check out the gutters. No call, no show. I called them back and there had been problems but that they would be out the next week to check the gutters. No call, no show. I'm at calling them back for the third time.

The guys were very good. They came out, did most of the work in one day. Took the old gutters away and it looks great.

Kevin's crew showed up on time. Removed the old gutters and all that went with it. They removed the old and cleaned up in no time. We had to keep rescheduling over and over again because we were having 51 new windows installed and that company kept messing up pushing back all other exterior work being completed. Kevin was so accommodating working with the push backs. Three months later from the contract date his crew came back to install all new larger gutters and the works. They arrived on time when scheduled, and they did the work in a very professional manner. CAROLINA SEAMLESS GUTTERS are an EXCELLENT team to work with. Thank you Kevin (Owner). Their pricing was a tenth of what other estimates were. The work was done efficiently, very quickly and clean up was very good. The work was very good and the pricing was far less than anticipated.

the installation of the gutter shields and the cleaning went well. however, the leveling, not so good. water was still overflowing in the middle of some gutters and running down the backside of the gutter and down the side of the house. we called him back to fix and he came right away. however, they still weren't flowing correctly. called him back again, he came and said it was fixed. however, it still wasn't fix. as a matter of fact it was worse in one particular spot. the third time we called him he became obnoxious and told us it was the roof's fault. basically, he said he would not come back again. i told him i wanted $200 back so that i could get someone else in to correct the problem. to date, no response.

gentleman came to house, reviewed work I wanted to have done, provided an estimate. I requested work be done on Monday or Friday. We scheduled for Friday. No show. Said he left a message, I have no machine. The workmen showed up on Tuesday morning. After a bout of round and round, permitted them to complete work. We discussed an area of rotted wood that was agreed to replaced. When I returned, discovered the wood had not been painted, they obligingly sprayed some paint on it but now I have to hire someone to paint it property. This was agreed on at the time of the estimate ... or so I thought!

Work started on time, stayed on budget and was completed very quickly. The clean-up was thorough. I highly recommend this company for roofing and gutter work.

This was a great company to work with. Kevin, the owner was very responsive to calls and was very responsive to requests to work with a paint crew that we had coming to do some exterior painting of our home during the same week. The guys that came out were very hard working guys that knocked the job out in a very short time. The work looks great. Good company to use.

Kevin had installed gutters and gutter guards across the back of my house in March, 2013. In August 2013 I called to have the front gutters replaced - gutter guard will come later when I can afford it. He came and took measurements as scheduled. His workman came a couple of days later as scheduled, quietly did the replacement, quietly cleaned up after himself ...I didn't realize he was gone till I looked out later. Job well done, just as before. I'll be calling Kevin in a few months for the gutter guards.

I called Carolina and Kevin returned my call the next day, He came out and did an estimate on Thursday. I called and told him I wanted to schedule the work, he said they would be out first thing Monday. The crew arrived around 9:30, and by 1130 they were finished. High quality work and they cleaned everything up before they left. I had told Kevin I had some minor roofing work that needed to be done, he came out and did it himself. The gutters and the roof look great! I would recommend that anyone needing gutters or roofing, give Carolina a call.

This was a small job, but Kevin was able to fit us into his busy schedule, while in our area. He looked at the gutters, gave an estimate, and the crew did the work later that same day! We appreciate their responsiveness.

When I initially contacted Carolina Seamless Gutters, I left a message and Kevin (the owner) called back in a very timely manner and came out when he said he would. It took us a while to make a decision, and he was excellent with following up with us to answer any questions we may have had without being pushy or intrusive. He gave us options on products and pricing and really was interested in earning our business and staying within our budget. Although we had some delays due to weather and his schedule, he always called to let us know if he wasn't able to have workers here and would let us know when they would be here and they were. The workers that did the job were very respectful and did an excellent job - finished the job in one day, cleaned up all the mess and when I didn't like the placement of one of the downspouts, arranged to come back the following day to move it and they did - no problem. (they would have done it that same day, but didn't have the necessary part with them) As for pricing - Kevin's estimate was $1000 cheaper than another provider on Angie's List for the same exact products/job, but I specifically chose him because he was so responsive, had great follow up and was really interested in gaining us as a customer. I would highly recommend Kevin and Carolina Seamless Gutters. As a sideline -- after 2 weeks, and lots and LOTS of rain - the gutters are working great!

Kevin responed quick gave me an estimate and fixed it all within 5 days. Greate service !! The only tick would be someone from his crew step on some Mint plants I had growing in a fenced garden but other than that very happy with service.

Went very well. No problems, no issues. Work was completed in 2 days. Area was well protected while they were working and they thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished.

2 workers showed up at 9:30 or 10 removed my existing gutters and had the new ones up by 2 pm. I was pleased that they were able to come so quickly and got the work done quickly. The owner called me the next day - as he had not come on site during the work - asked me to mail him a check. I did receive 100 dollars off thru Angie's list - owner did tell me he only wanted to give me the discount if I wrote a review as others had gotten a discount but not left a review. Only negative comment I would make about the overall job was that I continue to find small whit nails and screws in my back yard from the old gutters. They also dumped the asphalt that had accumulated in the old gutters on the mulch of my bushes and left a few parts laying on the ground. All things I can live with - but cleaning up afterwards would have made it a better experience.

They did great work. The work was done quickly and cleanly. So far we're very satisfied. The only reason I didn't give an A for the overall experience: I had to have some rotten fascia boards replaced and then repainted. Kevin's carpenter took a few days to get me an estimated cost (I was told I'd have it in 1 day). The estimate to do the minor carpentry work was, in my opinion, WAY too expensive (about half the cost of the entire gutter job). I then had to get my own estimate from another company to do the fascia repair and repaint (which was 1/3 the cost of Kevin's carpenter). Because of this unexpected step, I was w/out gutters for almost 2 weeks, which isn't great when it rains for 3-4 days.

Checked Angie's List after another contractor failed to respond for add-on work. Kevin Alexander, owner, came out and gave me a quote on site. I accepted offer and we scheduled the work. Three men removed and installed the larger 6" gutters on the front of our home and installed their Flat Lock covers on all of the gutters front and rear. Very pleased with work, professionalism, price, quality of materials and timing of installation. Would recommend Carolina Seamless Gutters and Roofing. Would recommend Angie's List for choosing a contractor (the contractor also gave us a discount for selecting them from Angie's). Quality of work allowed us to give gratuities to the workers over and above the cost of the job.
