BROWN'S GLASS

It all happened in one day. The showed up within two hours of giving them the measurements. They brought it in the house and put it on the table. It was a very easy and pleasant experience. We were surprised they were able to come the very same day.

Mr. Brown was very nice and kept all appointments and returned all phone calls. He had the window ordered and replace within a week of my first phone conversation with Mr. Brown. I hope that no other windows get broken in my home, but if they do I will call Mr. Brown and have him replace them. Thank you Mr. Brown.

He was very responsive in getting out and giving me a quote, but he had to cancel a couple times before actually completing the work.

I usually get at least three competitive bids before making a decision, however I picked Brown's Glass off of the list because it had good grades. I ended up paying too much, haste makes waste. A company can charge what it wants and if you are foolish enough to pay for it, you have no one else to blame, but yourself.

I was less than satisfied with the end product. The first time Mr. Brown came to install the window, he cracked both the old window and the new window as he attempted to install it. He said he'd have to get another new window, and he left with a cracked window in place. Things happen. I was fine with that. After he left, I noticed glass chips both on my front porch and in my front hall. I was surprised to have to clean up after him. As promised, Mr. Brown returned a few days later with a new window. He installed it using quarter round on 3 of the 4 sides. Then he ran out of quarter round and used another mismatched piece of trim to finish the job. My father-in-law noticed the trim didn't match. When he asked Mr. Brown about it, Mr. Brown acknowledged the trim didn't match but said he'd run out of quarter round. Mr. Brown left my house with no intention of returning to make the trim right. Now my husband will have to finish the job properly. What a disappointment!

Mr. Brown came when he said he would and charged what he said he would, even though the building's age resulted in the replacement requiring more work than originally anticipated. I offered to pay more for the additional work, but Mr. Brown would accept only the agreed upon price. I appreciate not only the workmanship but the integrity as well. Thank you.

Mr. Brown performed the service himself. He has over 30 years of experience and he took excellent care of my older house. He arrived promptly, worked around my schedule and was very very professional. He took charge and gained my instant trust. My windows had been damaged for some time. Around 3pm I called Mr. Brown and he arrived at my house at 6pm that day for a free estimate. He performed the work the next day. Within 24 hours Mr. Brown had solved a problem that had been nagging me for years. Now that is service. I was concerned that the job was too small for him but he was fully engaged in my repair and I appreciated that. Use again? Definately!!

Mr. Brown provides excellent value. He offers 30 years experience in glass repair. He is very customer service oriented, punctual, timely returns phone calls, performs work in a professional manner, and is very price competitive. Excellent is every respect. Would definitely rehire and highly recommend.
