I could not be happier with our decision. The long story - we had a mouse in the house. We hired a large, well-known company to handle the issue. This led to an attempted upsell of $14k. We received another quote from a separate company that also quoted $14k. This is when I met Justin & Briar Creek - he informed us that this was a small issue that he could fix for a fraction of the cost. I was concerned by the polar opposite quote, so we hired a home inspector to provide an unbiased answer. The home inspector proved that Justin / Briar Creek Wildlife was telling the truth, and the others were simply trying to scare us into spending far more money than needed. We were truly lucky to meet and work with Justin. We will be using him in the future when needed. Tyler

Justin is the man! Dependable and great service. He has been keeping snakes away from my in-laws yard for 10+ years. He treats our yard for snakes periodically. Briar creek will take care of any of your wildlife needs. I would recommend their services to anyone! If you have any type of critter issue-give these folks a call.

We live down on Lake Wylie and had squirrels in the attic. Briar Creek Wildlife came to our rescue. Justin was very professional, on time, and did what he said he would for the price he quoted. All work was completed to my standards. We remain squirrel free and continue to be pleased with the work.

Absolutely outstanding! Justin did a fantastic job for us 8 months ago and we have had no problem with squirrels ever since. The previous animal control firm we were working with before we found Justin and Critter Control wanted us to keep paying and paying - and the squirrels kept coming back. Justin just charged us a one-time fee and took care of the problem - at least so far. And when we needed him to come back by this summer and seal up and repair some rotten wood that had since opened up under the shingles of our back porch he came right by and took care of it before any squirrels or other animals had a chance to move in. A true professional!

We have been doing business with Justin for a couple of years and he is very nice to work with. His knowledge of animal behavior and the best way to remove problem animals is very helpful.

I called Critter Control to find and remove a dead mouse that smelled awful at my house. Justin was able to come out the next morning. He was very thorough, honest and I felt completely comfortable with him in my home. I would use Critter Control again in the future if the need arises.

We heard some scratching coming from the attic and one of the wires run through the attic was chewed through. Investigation by our pest control company confirmed: we had rats! Sadly, our pest control company only baited but did not dispose of dead rats nor did they look to abate any further infestation. So, we called Critter Control out to take a look. Within about 24 hours, they were in our house looking for ways for the little vermin to get in. They also found 3 dead rats that had stumbled and died within our crawl space. They provided a written estimate for the cost to and quot;patchand quot; up the house and took care of the dead rats. The cost for the rat removal seemed a little high, but it's not that much when considering you don't have to deal with a bloated dead rat! The patching estimate seemed about on-par with other quotes received. We will likely be using them to complete the job!

Justin was very professional and very prompt. He kept his appointments and came fairly quickly when I reported an animal in the humane trap. The price was much more reasonable than other companies. My only comment concerns the per animal removal cost which, as explained to me, was to cover time and gas to come out to remove the animals. I have no problem with that, except regardless of whether there was one animal or three in the trap, you paid a per animal charge. I think a per trip charge would be more appropriate.

I called to set up the appointment. On the day of the appointment he called and said he would be delayed due to an emeregency but would call when he was on his way. He called back to say he was close and gave an approxiimate arrival time. He assessed the area I thought the yellow jackets were coming from. He assembled the necessary tools and after several cannisters and further inspection he determined all the yellow jackets in the nest were dead. Things took longer than I would have expected but he was very thorough and checked the nest for activity multiple times. He removed the entire nest. He warned me that over the next few hours and day that some of the workers out of the nest may return trying to find the nest. I was concerned about possible nests in other areas of the yard. He walked the entire perimeter and back yard to ensure me no additional nests were present.

I had a good feeling about dealing with this company right from the start. The gentleman answered the phone, and scheduled the appointment. He also let me know what the initial inspection would cost, and was very clear about how what to expect as the project progressed. I had to change my appointment time which again was very easy because he answered the phone and was very responsive. My pastor was the one to meet with him. We were all very impressed with the responsiveness and follow through. There were several holes that the squirrels were using to get into the attic, so all but one were repaired. The trap was placed at the remaining hole, and once a day, the company would come to remove any trapped squirrels. We were also told that if we noticed a squirrel in the trap, they would come right out to remove it. So they came out once a day regardless, but they would come out more than once a day if a squirrel needed to be removed. Once all the squirrels were removed, the final hole was patched. We are now squirrel free. I highly recommend them based on their responsiveness, their clear communication about the expenses, and their reasonable prices.

I had perused Angie's list and did not see Critter Control listed. Found them in the Phone book and they had a very detailed and helpful web site. I decided to go with them after calling them. They were punctual and gave us an estimate that was way less than all of the jobs that I had seen from other Angies list vendors. We had squirrels entering our attic. They found the spot and trapped 3 squirrels over about 2 weeks. They then repaired the hole in the vinyl just under the roof. The entire job was about $400.00 which seemed very reasonable compared to other prices that I had seen. I believe our contact guy was Justin and he did a great job. I would absolutely recommend these guys and I would use them again for sure.
