It went really good, but it took a whole lot longer than we thought it would.

They did a good job and nothing was broken. The movers arrived 15 minutes late and had an extra guy with them. I asked why they had an extra guy and they explained to me they felt they needed an extra guy to get everything done in time and it was heavy. Interesting in that they didn't know how many items were being moved and if they were heavy. They were very careful so it took them a long time to get the job done. We exceeded the time by two hours as they didn't rush and they always used the lift gate on every item instead of lifting the lighter items on to the truck. Plus they all watched the lift gate go up instead of one raising while the others went back to the house to get more items. Again, they were very nice and moved a lot of items for us.

Outstanding from the first phone call to arrange the move. Four movers showed up on time ready to go. Juan, the owner was the crew chief and made sure the crew were extremely careful. It was a hot day here in Charlotte and they never stopped until the job was done. I have moved a dozen times and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.

We would use Best Movers if we have any future moves! They were very professional and careful with our furniture and communicate very well as far as arrival time and the process. We have had movers before and this was by far the best company!!

They were great! Came out and gave us an estimate and then called the day before the move to confirm and 30 minutes before they arrived to confirm. They got everything moved pretty quickly and it went smoothly.

Juan and his team helped us move out of a third story apartment into our townhouse. This included moving a large washer and dryer down two flights of stairs from the apartment and connecting them in the second floor laundry room at our townhouse. They were very professional and personable, and very efficient during the whole process. Also, when we experienced scheduling conflicts due to tile installation, Patricia was very understanding and more than willing to reschedule as needed. I would highly recommend this company and plan to call on them again if ever we need help with a local move!

They were very professional and arrived on time. The three men moved used their own padding and wrap; and although they were 'on the clock' they never tarried. And when the ELEVATOR BROKE DOWN in our building, they carried the second half of the furniture down three flights without batting an eye! These fellows are ACES in my deck, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

I called Best Movers over the weekend seeking quotes for an in-house move. Their's was the only service that promptly answered the call on a Sat morning. Gave them the requirements for the job and they were quick to get me a very competitive quote for the job. We went ahead and schduled the service for the following Wednesday. They called me again Mon evening to confirm appointment for Wed afternoon. On the day of the move, they showed up at my house at the allocated time. They were careful in moving the furniture across hard wood floors and up the stairs. In moving our couch they accidentally caused some minor damage to one of the walls. They were quick to show me the damage and told me that they would promptly get it fixed. What I appreciated the most is that they finished the job, did not take payment, came back the next day, fixed the minor damage to the wall at no cost and then took payment for the in house move. I am pleased with their level of service and reccomend them for anyone considering a local move.

It was the best moving experience I've ever had. They were prompt, courteous, careful, extremely polite, and quick.

The move went great. It was a huge feat and despite the fact they were ill-equipped to deal with the size and weight of the pieces, they did an excellent job of relocating them to my residence without a scratch anywhere. This included going up and down some steps which was a challenge. They were also patient with me as I put felt bits on the bottom (they had to lift while I did this) and allowed me to pop in carpet sliders on the other (also while they lifted). The guys were all great. I explained the weight and girth of these pieces on the telephone when asking for an estimate, but evidently the information did not get transmitted. Their price was less than the competition, which is why I hired them. When Juan said this was a four person job and really should cost more, I did not quibble. He was right. I paid the extra $60.00 because it was the right thing to do. I would most definitely hire them again. People who care and do such a great job deserve repeat business, and good reviews!

After receiving notices of this company's local offers I contact the company in hopes of hiring them for our upcoming move. The number provided went immediately to voicemail. I left a message through Angie's list, 2 voicemails and a text and nothing. I probably should've known something was fishy when the contact number went straight to voicemail. I decided to go with another company.

I was quite impressed with my experience with Best Movers. After leaving a voicemail asking for a quote, Patricia quickly called me back with the details. I was shopping other quotes and about a week later, finally decided to hire Best Movers. Patricia went over all the details with me and emailed me my reservation. She called the day before to confirm, as well as the day of, when the movers were on their way. Juan handled everything with the utmost professionalism. The team worked very quickly to get the truck loaded up and unloaded at the new apartment. While I don't plan to move again soon, when I finally do, I will be calling Best Movers again!

They did a fantastic job. Juan's wife, Patricia, was very helpful in setting up the date and time, and she gave us a reminder call two days before. Very professional and very friendly. They arrived on time and began working right away. They didn't stop until everything was moved in to her apartment. They charge a more reasonable hourly rate than most companies we had checked on. And it was well worth it because she is in a third floor apartment. Her apartment was only about 15 minutes from our house, so they started at 8:00 AM and we wrote them a check when they were finished at 10:30.They took good care of the furniture, were careful not to hit any doors or walls, and placed boxes and furniture where we specified in her apartment. We were very happy not to have had to rent a truck or ask family members to move furniture up to the third floor. I would definitely recommend them.

This was the second time that I have used them. This time they moved our storage building and townhouse to our new home. They did it over 2 weekends and were on time both occasions. They carefully loaded and unloaded our items as if they were their own. I would highly recommend them!!

We have moved 9 times and they were the best movers we had. Very professional, didn't take any breaks, no smokers, no bad language or auguring with each other. It took longer than expected but not due to them not working we just had tons of stuff. They broke one bookshelf but remuburised us for it.

Juan and his team member were great on Saturday. They called as they arrived at 8:30am. He performed an assessment of the apartment and the walk to and from the truck but didn't start the time until they started loading. The move took longer than expected due to lack of access to the closest entrance to my apartment location so they did a lot of walking but make very efficient trips. The unloading of everything into my new house took a quarter of the time. All was moved with ease and nothing was damaged. The price was great and I would definitely use them again (but hopefully I won't be moving for a long time!)

Company was great to work with. They came out the same day and arrived slightly early. They were very careful with my house and came prepared.

King bed with massive headboard, marble-topped dresser, chest of drawers, and nightstand were placed in second floor bedroom and bed assembled. Two-man crew were very professional in their work. Took their time. Getting headboard up steps was greatest challenge, but they worked at it and finally got it maneuvered past the close point.

Juan and crew did an awesome job -- They arrived on time and were upfront about costs. They moved quickly, but handled our things with care, and were very courteous and easy to work with. Made moving day 100x less stressful. Highly recommend!

The guys were great!! They were on time and very professional. That took great care in making sure all of my furniture was packed into their truck without any damage. Then they delivered everything to my storage building and unloaded the truck and then took the same care in packing it into carefully into the storage unit. It took right at 3 hours to do everything so I had to pay for an extra hour but that was fine with me because of the care they used in moving everything. I will definitely use them again when its time to move again and will also recommend them to all of my friends and family!!!

Not only did they clear things out of the garage for me, but moved kingsize tempurpedic mattresses and furniture from one upstairs room to another for me. They followed me to the public storage facility. The storage facility had broken glass all over the floor. They swept that all out for me before putting any of my articles in there. They were so helpful, courteous and professional.
