Description of Work: It was only a short distance to move me but they were prompt and loaded all my furniture and belongings without any mishaps. The move went smoothly. I had an option of paying them by the hour or a flat fee. I chose the flat fee. There were 3 people doing the moving and it went well.

Description of Work: They were prompt in arrival and moving of entire home. What I appreciated the most was although there was a small ding that occurred on my refrigerator, they came to me directly, acknowledged the damage and immediately engaged in how to make it right. I appreciate the integrity of the movers and the ability to handle the situation on the spot. Thank you for a job well done!

Description of Work: We purchased a special of 3 1/2 hrs moving service to move several rooms of furniture to a new home. They were very prompt and courteous, and were careful with the furniture. It did take longer than expected. We also needed some items moved from a storage unit, which they were happy to help with. After the initial planned move, we asked if they had time to go back to the storage unit to move another load, they were again happy to help since they did not have another move scheduled that day. So a 3 1/2 hour project basically turned into an all day project, which ended up costing quite a bit. But again they were very helpful, courteous, and careful with everything. I would use them again.

Description of Work: This company moved our belongings from one house to another. They did a good job and were very careful which I find is rare in this business. One downside is that their method of loading and unloading required them to move everything twice. For example items were brought out and put down before being later put on the truck. This made the process take longer (and put more money in their pockets). Nevertheless, I would use them again because, at the end of it all, our belongings were moved and had no more scratches than previously.

It went very good. They were very fast which was very impressive but they didn't look very professional. They were not very well prepared for moving furniture and stuff like that. Usually, people bring foil to wrap the furniture so it won't be damaged. They didn't do that. The job they did for me was a really huge job because it involved a couple of places where we would be picking up furniture. It ended up that I had to pay one additional hour of service. It was reasonable for the amount of furniture that we put in. I will use them in the future, depending on what I will be moving.

I am 100% delighted with Juan, Marvin & my entire experience with Best Movers. On 10/21/13, I purchased an Angie's List Deal for a moving truck & 2-man crew for 2 hours, mileage included. As part of the purchase process, I provided 3 options for moving dates that were pretty optimistic, or so I thought. I received a reply within a couple of hours, and was scheduled for today (just 2 days later). It was explained via the confirmation email that there is a 3-hour minimum, which added $90 to the Angie's List price of $119 -- seemed reasonable. I received a confirmation voicemail the night before. Juan & Marvin arrived on time and packed, moved and unpacked our furniture quickly and efficiently. I hightly recommend Best Movers.

The job was done fantastically and they were extremely professional and personable. Juan's crew is simply the best in class!!!!
