This was a local move just two miles apart and the job is an hourly rate. The original estimate was $1,400 for 9 hours of work. These guys finished in 7. They took care of all our house hold goods with GREAT CARE and we also joked a little with a few of the guys. OUTSTANDING SERVICE from the two Reps to the guys doing the move.
Description of Work: A rep came to our home to do a detail estimate. She was great explained everything with no pressure to a sale. The movers (4 men) were right on time at 8:00 am. We had everything packed prior, but, the movers brok down all the beds and moved the dresser mirrors and put everything together at the other end. The sofa, chairs were all shrink wraped and all the furiture were wraped in moving blankets and taped.

We had used the Allied national franchise in the past, so we decided to go with them again because we had had a good experience. The last time around, they moved a lot of stuff for us, and there was no breakage. We may use them again in the future.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. TOOK A 15 MINUTE LUNCH BREAK AND SPENT THE ENTIRE DAY EITHER CARRYING BOXES AND FURNITURE TO THE TRUCK OR UNLOADING. THEY WERE THE MOST AFFORDABLE OPTION I FOUND.
Description of Work: THEY MOVED A 4 BEDROOM, 3 BATH HOUSE IN A DAY. THEY BOXES ALL MATTRESSES AND WRAPPED HEAVY FURNITURE.

IT WAS A TERRIBLE MOVE, WITH SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE AND PROBLEMS. THEY ALSO OVER-CHARGED US, AND IT TOOK MONTHS TO RESOLVE THE MATTER.

WE HAD APPALLING SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE 4 HOURS LATE AND DIDN'T RING, THEIR HEAD OFFICE COULD NOT CONTACT THEM EITHER. WHEN THEY DID ARRIVE THEY SWORE THAT THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF THE UNPACKING SERVICE, WE FOUND OUT LATER THAT THEY WERE LYING BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO GO HOME EARLY.......PLEASE NEVER HIRE THEM EVEN TO MOVE YOUR PET PARROT!
