This company seems to have follow-up issues. Tom was supposed to call and come out to see the trees needing work. Never called. I went with another company.

I am building a new home in Davidson, NC and a large oak tree is located close to the construction site. I became worried about damage to the tree by construction vehicles driving near the tree roots. I contacted Bartlett Tree Experts to seek their advice on what I should do. Bartlett responded very quickly and one of their staff evaluated the tree and surrounding area. They recommended a comprehensive plan including fertilizer and and additional procedures to preserve this valuable tree. I strongly recommend Bartlett as one of the best places to work with for excellent tree service.

Inspection was fine, arborist was very knowledgeable, but never heard back from him (even after re-contacting him).

He did good work when they were there. He was suppose to get me scheduled,he forgot to call me back, so I had to call and ask when he was coming out. I had to follow up on when he was coming, he never called me back to schedule, after I got the estimate.

They were pricey. It was difficult because the tree was between my house and a neighbor without a lot of extra space and I also had a retaining wall. They had to bring in a crane. They were careful about the underground drainage system to protect the property with the weight of the crane. I think I had the right people. I just didn't like paying their bill. In that situation I would use them again.

I am going to use them again. What I like most about them is their knowledge, they have good knowledge and their expertise.

Called them on Monday 1/11 to schedule evaluation and estimate of limb and possible tree removal. Was given an appointment on 1/14 at 10:00. Received a call later in the day saying that there was a calendar mix up and they needed to come at 9 instead. Today, 1/14 at 9:00, the rep. no showed. I called the company at 9:15 and was told they would try to get in touch with him and call me back. At 9:30 I called them back and was told that the rep. was stuck at his 8:00 appointment and my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I declined. I understand things come up and companies get behind, but when they don't have the courtesy to tell you they will be late or if you have to reach out to them for updates on what's going on, red flag. There are lots of other companies that provide this service in the charlotte area. I recommend avoiding this company as they seem to be unorganized.

Our house backs up to property owned by a private school, and they had a tree that was leaning from their property, onto our property, and I was going to get one of my tree services to get the tree down, so I was just getting permission from the school, that I was about to cut down one of their trees. I called them, and they said they will send people out to do it. They came out, they let me know they were here, did a wonderful job of protecting my fence and everything. They took out two extremely large trees, and how they managed to not kill my trees while doing it is amazing. They could not get down one of the tree pickers into the location, so they had to do it by climbing up into trees, it was an amazing operation. After they were done, they said that we needed a couple of bushes that needed to be trimmed, not that they had taken the trees out and asked if they could come over and do it. They came and did it for free. They said that it didn't look very good now that the trees were out of the way. The school always uses them.

The arborist returned my call and arranged time to do an on-site survey. He was on time and then gave me an estimate. A few weeks later the technician came and treated the trees. They were treated a total of three times over the summer. Each treatment was uneventful and carried out with no problem. I was very impressed with the arborist and the technician. The quality of their work was very good.

They did some pruning and treatment. I really like their responsiveness and they did a really good job. I had to call them back out to finish the job. They guy I dealt with was really good. They said that they had to finish early because it was hot. They came back and finished the work.

Applied a liquid to the soil around plants and shrubs to prevent disease.

The Arborist that came out gave us suggestions and tips for all our trees and bushes. He noticed bagworms in our evergreen bushes and we removed them ourselves. He gave us the names of two trees that we were not sure of what we had. Our River Bruch is dying out in the top and appears it may have to be removed. My husband did not like the way the Japanese purple plum was cut. He felt that one branch mid-way up the tree, was cut back to the trunk. It left a gap in the tree. It has not repaired itself and looks like it will not. It does not have a great look at this time. Two other trees were trimmed up and did very well. Overall the job was very good except for the one branch that left a gap purple plum.

All went well. Tree appeared a little stronger this spring/summer/fall and we have arranged for Bartlett to make this an annual event.

The treatment worked; my tree is free of fungus. Bartlett treated the tree and a nearby vine that harbored the fungus for $90 a treatment. The arborist was knowledgeable; I will use Bartlett again for any sort of tree or shrub problem. By the way, I was concerned about the use of a fungicide for ecological reasons; some fungicides kill bees. The arborist explained the minor impact of the fungicide they use and I did have lots of bees in my garden this year.

I have used Bartlett Tree Service for more than a decade. They are always great no matter whether it is a tree trimming service, diagnosing a disease or providing me anti-infestation control. They have performed all of these services over the years. My beautiful signature tree continues to live in good health regardless of her age.

We have used their services for 5 or so years. They took over the company we had used before and the high degree of service was maintained. They always do exactly what you ask and they educate you about your trees and bushes during the consultation.. I have any number of trees in my yard that they have planted. I told them what I wanted, we agreed on a price, and they have always brought a healthy tree that is usually a bit taller than discussed. When they have taken down trees for us, all debris is removed, beds are cleaned, stump and roots ground up before they plant a new tree. I have given their name to our next door neighbor and she has used them for several years to trim her trees and bushes. I have them come every year and they sometimes take my bushes "way down" with my permission to control and encourage fresh growth. Other years they just trim the bushes back a few inches, making it very easy to then maintain the rest of the year with my periodic trimming as I have a correctly formed bush to follow and trim back to.
