I am very happy to report that traditional American values still exist - if you are willing to look for them. For your appliance care choose Scott at the Appliance Care Center and look no further. You will find absolutely terrific service that is prompt, courteous, and efficient. I was completely floored by the cost of the repair. The price charged by Appliance Care Center including parts and labor was less than 4 other appliance repair shops service call fee alone. On top of that, instead of gouging me for more money by claiming a new CCU (priced new $110 at Sears) was required and waiting 3 days for it to be shipped, Scott repaired it himself in 30 minutes and guaranteed it for 12 months. He did not stop there either - Scott also warranted that if a new CCU was required in the next 12 months, he would use the $75 from this visit towards the purchase of a new circuit board.

Scott, the owner of Appliance Care Center, has always been responsive, informative and courteous in delivering quality service. It is always a pleasure to deal with him.

Scott returned the inquiry right away and was able to come out the next day with a replacement unit in case it was needed. He was very pleasant and helpful. He showed up on time and did the work very quickly. The job was done so well, we decided to have him come back to re-install the dishwasher our builder nevery put in correctly. That went smoothly as well.

Scott came promptly next day after call; having already gotten info to get replacement part in case that was the problem. He demonstrated that it indeed was the ice maker. He replace it at a very reasonable price and it worked fine. The next day, he called to see if the ice maker was working properly. He was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Without hesitation, will call this company again for appliance repairs. Highly recommend!

Excellent. He also works via email so our first contact was that way, narrowed down our open dates and then called when he was on his way.

He was good. He tried for 45 minutes to get my fridge back to life. He told me what to look for and stuff like that so that was good information. I spent $55 on that work. I called and he was able to come out pretty quickly. Someone else tried diagnosing it over the phone. But he wanted to come out and check the fridge and he worked really hard to fix it.

This guy rocks! Called him mid-morning and he called back around three or four that same day. He was apologizing for calling back a couple hours later which was totally unnecessary. I don't know about you, but I can understand if someone doesn't call me back immediately. It's not like it was an emergency it was a dishwasher. I was calling to get an idea about his hourly rate and what he charges just to come out. My dishwasher is not the best model, we'd had some problems with it before and I was really trying to determine whether I wanted to fix it or bite the bullet and get a new one. Anyways, he explains that he was heading out of town the next day and that he wouldn't be able to service our dishwasher anytime soon. OK no problem. So I guess we'll just have to schedule something when he gets back. That's what you'd expect. Well he takes the initiative to ask me some questions about what its doing, make and model, etc.. And then he proceeds to patiently walk me through the repair myself. Problem solved. Amazing! Rather than try to make a buck, this man saved me time and money and asked nothing in return. That is the sign of a man with real integrity. I told him I would write Angie’s list to tell about my experience and his reply was that I was too kind. I would hire this guy to do any service he provided!!

My rferigerator wasn't getting very cold, getting progressively worse over a few days. I called Scott this at 8:15 and got his voicmail. He returned my call at 9:25 and sai he could be out today. He showed up before noon. and got to work. When he finished I offered a tip because I don't think he charged enough for his time (about an hour and a half) but he wouldn't accept it.

I called on a Thursday regarding my washer not spinning after the wash cycles. Scott came the next day on time and determined the problem. He would order the part/timer and have it to install by that coming Monday! I asked that he come on Tuesday and he was on time and quickly replaced the timer and had my machine working again. Scott also spent time diagnosing my broken light problem inside my Dacor oven. The part needed to repair was more than I was willing to spend ( a motherboard etc) so we didn't go ahead with that work. Scott was very thorough with his explanations and professional. Scott even makes a follow-up call to ask if the machine is working properly and if I had any other questions he could answer. I think this is the sign of a conscientious worker and very professional. I doubted at first that I would ever use Angie's list enough to justify the monthly membership fee. In just this call alone I saved enough money not to mention stress and inconvenience to pay for the years membership I'll now switch to. THANKS, Scott and Appliance Care Center, AND Angie's List!

I got up one morning and found my 2 year old refrigerator dead. I called LG to find a technician but they do not have any representatives in Charlotte. I couldn't believe it! The closest was in Rock Hill, SC and I assumed that would cost me a higher trip charge. I looked on Angies List and called several places but they didn't service LG products. I continued to look through the list and found a report someone had submitted saying that Scott at Appliance Care Center repaired her LG refrigerator. I was so relieved!! Scott called me back very promptly after I left a message for him. He came to my house within an hour after that. The fuse had blown in the control board. Scott took the control board with him and worked a way to fix the fuse so the entire control board would not have to be replaced. He came back 3 times while trying to determine what acutally made the fuse blow, but only charged me one time at the end when he was sure all was working correctly. Scott is a perfect example of how a business should be run and how to make customers happy!

As always, it went very well. Scott showed up as promised and he had it all fixed within about 30 minutes. I wouldn't use anyone but Scott for my appliance repair.

Excellent, I called Scott and he was at my house within 20 minutes because he just finished a job in my area. His estimate was right on, extremely knowledgeable, and had the dryer repaired quickly. I highly recommend and am going to use him to repair my dishwasher.

Excellent, could not have been better. Great guy, knows what he is doing and very reasonable priced.

Scott returned my call promptly and made himself available to come by to look at the problems on Saturday. After evaluation, he had to get some supplies. Came back on Tuesday and within an hour, the dishwaster was running and the ice maker was functioning. Scott was very polite and conscientious. I would recommend him.

Response was timely. Arrived with parts. Quick work, and a good experience from my point of view.

My wife was doing laundry and after she put the clothes in the dryer she realized that the dryer was getting hot but the drum wasn't turning. I suspected the belt was bad and immediately called (about 4:30 pm) Scott Jones, owner of Appliance Care Center. Scott answered, I gave him the make and model of the dryer, and he said he would be out the next morning. Scott showed up in the morning as he said and worked to detect the problem. He checked all areas of possible problems and determined that, even though still in tact, the belt was slipping. Scott replaced the belt and the dryer works fine. He said it is unusual for belts to slip but that appeared to be the only problem. Scott has worked on this dryer before . He does a great job. I will call him any time I need an appliance repair person.

Scott responded very quickly to my email request both via email and a phone call and was able to schedule an appointment right away.

Dishwasher wash pump would not run. After much diagnosing of the electrical panel and system electrics, he suspected a bad pump or pump motor. When digging around in the pump he found some tape, and later, a chip of bone or plastic smaller than a dime. After much effort he was able to remove the foreign item and the machine runs fine. This involved two trips and his acquiring a new pump as a last resort back-up. His "worst case" estimate was $250 and we were ready to pay that since the machine is less than two years old. He refused more than $100 in spite of the amount of time spent. I have to call this episode a great example of being ready for all problems and finding the simple solution. And ... he didn't leave a mess to be cleaned up.

Scott knew exactly what he was doing, and completed the repair expertly. Instead of telling us we needed new parts (that would have cost a bundle), he repaired the existing ones. He is tops. He had to delay the completion of the job so that he could get the proper tools to do the repair, but he did not charge for two visits or anything extra. He is a rare example of a good repairman. We were lucky to have found him on Angie's List. A++++++++++++++++

Appliance Care Center is an honest, small business operation. Scott was professional, punctural, polite and most important, careful and detailed-oriented. I could not have asked for better service! We have put Scott into our speed dial and will recommend him to friends and family without hesitation.
