Scott was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable over the phone and he was flexible in his availability as well. My renters were a little scatterbrained when it came to locking in a time, but Scott was patient when we had to reschedule. My renters let me know he was so quick and they he absolutely knew what he was doing. This really put my mind at ease. Everything is running great and Scott saved me from having to buy a new fridge (what a lot of other repairmen would tell me when I explained the situation). Great stuff!

Unfortunately he has not followed up after I provided the information he needed, so no work was done.

Called on a Friday morning and I got his voicemail and had to leave a message. After an hour or so when I didn't get a call back I called again to give him my wife's mobile number because I would be gone in the afternoon for a meeting. During a break in my meeting I answered a voicemail from my wife saying he called her back and was at our house within an hour, found the problem, had it repaired and was gone by mid afternoon. We ran the dishwasher through a wash cycle and it worked fine. Response was great, work done well and the price reasonable. The serviceman was courteous and professional. Will definitely call this company for future appliance repairs.

After finding ACC on Angie's list I called and left a message about our refrigerator not cooling. Scott called back within an hour and Scott was at my house by noon. He quickly identified the problem and although he had to empty my freezer, he had it repaired (he had the needed,part on his truck) and cooling by 1:30. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised with the bill.

Scott was great to deal with: honest, thorough, effective, professional. It's clear he takes pride in his work, and on top of all that, his fee was very reasonable. Had about given up on these old appliances, but Scott's good work made it possible to make do with what I had. Will definitely call him whenever I have an appliance that's acting up.

Came promptly, went out and found the part, came back and fixed it quickly. He was honest, prompt/

He had me run it again that night and came back the next morning to see if it leaked at all. It did not leak again. So while he didn't find a leak, the machine is now fine. I was grateful he didn't charge me again to come out the next day! I think the machine has a problem when the temperature drops too low. We had a couple of other trouble codes that solved themselves when the weather warmed up a little.

He located the problem a clogged drain in the freezer and cleared the ice and cleared the drain. It was taken care of in a short while and we did not have to get a new frig. Yep. I thought it was so old that we needed a new one. I was relieved that this quick fix was enough to get it up and going again. We were glad there was no more water and ice on the floor of the frig and the floor in front of the frig. Thanks to their prompt service call.

As described above our refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling. I tried several companies on Angie's list starting last night. I sent a message to Appliance Care Center through Angie's List this morning at about 9:30. Scott was the one out of four companies, including GE, who said he could fix it today. He called before he came and was here by 11:00. He later said he worked me in because he realized that when a fridge goes down, the food goes bad a lot of money goes down the tube. His conscientiousness on that one fact was worth the call. While he was trying to find the problem, he indicated it could be the computer board which is an expensive part. But after testing it he found it was a relay to the compressor - not as expensive. It's always a pleasant surprise when a service provider communicates with you, tells you how expensive it could get. It ended up costing less than expected. Scott was very professional all the way around. He owns is own business and you can tell he cares about it and knows what he's doing. He's polite, courteous and from this experience I'd say honorable. I'd definitely recommend him or call him again. By the way, the way the cost of the service call was about 40% less than what GE was going to charge. One last point, if you're thinking of buying a refrigerator/freezer, don't go with GE. This is the 3rd repair in as many years. If you can't afford something like Sub Zero, stick with Whirlpool, Kenmoore, Maytag.

Scott was professional, friendly, and easy to work with on scheduling. He explained the complications of correctly diagnosing the panel issues before any work was done so that I knew it wasn't a simple fix. Then he did the work neatly and quickly. The only hold up was waiting for parts that had to be ordered. I now have a range that works like new!!

Scott returned my call right away and came the next morning to diagnose the problem. It was a faulty water control valve. He replaced it at a very reasonable price and it's been working great since. I will definitely call him in the future if I need any other appliance repair work done.

I have used Appliance Care Center in the past and because of the great service, great, price, and prompt efficiency, I will not call anybody but else. Once again he did a great job. He came out and diagnosed that a new mother board was needed. It would have to be ordered from the manufacturer and would take about a week. Before leaving, Scott did a "temporary" fix by doing some sodering which allowed the washer to function until the part arrived. When the part arrived about a week later, Scott took about 30 minutes and installed the new part. Our washer now works even better than it did when it was new.

The first time we had him out was to repair an ice maker on our refrigerator. He was very good about calling to let you know when he would be arriving. He had to order the part and found that he had ordered the wrong part. At no charge to us, he over-nighted the correct part. He really took it upon himself to make it right. The part had the same issue. We had decided to just get a new refrigerator. When we had him out to repair the oven, he asked about the ice maker. I mentioned having an issue, and he insisted on making everything right. We have been very happy with his work. He is very personable and is great with our pets and has been very persistent in trying to fix the issues.

I looked them up on Angie's List, I called them, they came out the next day for an estimate and see what was wrong and then fixed it. They were really good. I needed somebody quick and I called several people who couldn't get out here quickly. It was a very good experience. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

I called Scott on Wednesday 8/21 and left a vmail explaining what was wrong (Dryer started squeaking loudly and left a slight "buring" smell). He called back a couple of hours later and set up a time to come out the next day. He called back saying he could make it even earlier that day than initially stated and wanted to be sure that was OK which it was. He called when he was on his way the next day so we were ready. He was prompt, knowledgeable and professional and fixed the problem quickly. I would definitely use him again for other appliance issues.

Scott was able to schedule me quickly, for the next day. He researched my fridge's model number to bring along the appropriate spare parts for the likely potential causes of what had gone wrong. He quickly diagnosed that my heating element had gone bad. Within two hours he'd replaced the element, including removing layers of accumulated ice behind back panels of the freezer. When he was done everything was working and good as new -- and I was shocked at the low price. Scott was friendly and professional throughout the appointment. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing appliance repair.

I called Scott on Friday after 5:00 pm and explained the problem I was having. He was quick to provide his perspective of what needed to be repaired and thought it was the water pump. He came by first thing on Monday am (he had to buy the pump from his distributor) and they were closed for the weekend. He came as promised at the agreed to time. Was very professional and caring and finished the job within 1 hour. He charged $158.00 for a pump and service call and I thought that was very good. Scott is a very good man and I would highly recommend him for other appliance repair.

It went very well. I contacted Scott through Angie's List. He came over the same day. Got right to work. Fixed the problem in no time. Gave me some helpful advice. Charged a reasonable fee. Very nice guy who I will definitely use again in the future.

Called him the morning we found a pool of water next to our fridge and no cool air coming out. He called back an hour later and after hearing the details, he turned around from a trip toward waxhaw (we're on the north side of town) so he could check our fridge asap. Was very professional and really took a lot of time checking possible causes.

Scott came promptly at the appointed time to fix my refrigerator. He was not able to complete the repair due to a needed part so he did a temporary fix at no charge, reschedule to come back, showed up promptly again, fixed the problem, cleaned up after himself and was pleasant and professional throughout. I will definitely call him again if I have any other appliance service needs.

After calling Scott on the phone, he came out that day or the next and was able to get our dryer working almost immediately. He did have to come back the next week, once he got the parts, to do a permanent fix. He did this in a timely fashion. Was very professional and thorough.

I've used Scott at Appliance Care Center several times over the past decade for a variety of appliances and have always been pleased with his service, workmanship and pricing. Our GE gas convention oven stopped heating so, after a quick check of Angies List to make sure his recent work was still getting all top marks (it was), I left a message including a description of the problem and brand/model number of my oven. *I remembered from past experience that Scott's "process" is to try to pre-screen the problem and with the oven information he's able to make sure he brings the part(s) he thinks are most likely the culpit Scott returned my call the same day and after talking through the issue a little bit more we scheduled him to come out a couple days later. (Note - he offered to come out the next morning but I delayed it until later in the week to better fit my schedule) The day of the service Scot called about 30 minutes prior to the appointment time and advised that he'd finished his first call sooner than expected and offered to come a little bit early if it was convenient for me. Once at my home, Scott immediately got to work on the oven, first ruling out the control panel as the problem source before disassembling it enough to access and replace the ignition element he suspected was the problem. As he worked he talked through what he was doing including a basic primer on how the oven worked as it related to our problem. All together he was onsite about 1/2 hour and tested the oven thoroughly before leaving. It's been 2 weeks and the oven is heating perfectly. Based on this and prior experiences, I will continue to call on and recommended Appliance Care Center for all of my appliance issues.

Evidently the particular machine I have is rare and there were several companies I called for a repair and they would not consider fixing that model. Scott did not hesitate, he called ahead and asked for a specific description of the problem as well as the model numbers so that he would have the parts to repair the machine. He was prompt. He was knowledgeable, and professional. He even took the time to explain to me hints that I may do in the future to avoid potential problems It was very pleasant. He made me feel at ease. I had no anxiety and felt secure that he was doing the best job possible.

I received a text from my tenant saying the dryer wasn't heating up. I check available appliance repair people on Angie's List. I selected Appliance Repair Center/ call Scott and told him the problem. He gave me a window of time when he might be available. He agreed to call to give me a 30 minute heads up- which he did. He had a replacement thermostat kit with him when he arrived. There was a wiring update that he knew to attend to. He replaced the part. Once we had the unit back in place he noticed the venting hose was partially blocked when the unit was pushed against it. He suggested I get a different style vent. I can do this myself so this did save me some money as well as possibly preventing this same repair in the near future.

I provided the model number to him and he was able to obtain a replacement switch. Unfortunately that replacement didn't function properly so he had to get another new switch. The repair took 2 visits he was very professional and completed the installation on a Saturday morning.
