As you may know I had just survived a massive heart attack when the final installation was undertaken and am just now getting back on my feet, hence the long delay in responding the your request for feedback. My wife oversaw the final installation and was quite impressed. Although we have not yet experienced a power outage since the installation was completed, I am quite sure we will be totally satisfied with the results.

Arrival time was prompt. HVAC completed in 1 day. Pricier than I would have liked. Had to call customer service for brochure on clean effects filter as the only brochure in my folder I was given was on ultraviolet filter which was never even brought up when salesman came to give estimate. Had to research and decide which one to purchase while unit was being installed.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early. Final project turned out great!

This company is by far the best company that I have had a honor to work with. The whole crew from the admin side to the install crew are a pleasure to work with. Everybody is authentic and knows there stuff. Along with the generator I had an electrical panel upgrade. The panel is so neat and tidy inside that the panel cover should be glass so people can se the beautiful work these guys do! A++ rating from me!

Professional, customer-service oriented, answered questions and explained the problem clearly, gave us several options for the plumbing repair -- Jammal Lindsey was the plumbing technician who came to diagnose the problem and give us the options. This review is for that phase of the project.

My technician seemed very knowledgeable, experienced, efficient and friendly. He also expressed pride and satisfaction with his career choice, which I find to be unusual in many service techs. His cheerful attitude and pride in his work gave me great confidence that I had received excellent service. He arrived a little later than what the office had initially estimated, but it didn't trouble me because of the overall high value I received. I will definitely request him by name for my next HVAC service.

Very professional installation crew, answered all my questions

From the very beginning of the ordeal with American Mechanical back in Dec 2017, the unit (after the installation) was making noises at times over 100 decibels! Normally. it is 60 or 65. When frigid cold occurred, the unit was extremely loud. 1 week ago, my unit locked me out with 2 alerts: 184.7 and 184.8. No heat or air. I was unable to use the system. They arrived at my home on 13 Nov at 4:15 pm, it was late, they were supposed to arrive at the home prior to 4 pm. The slot was 12 noon to 4 pm. $85 charge for this initial callout. The tech stated the issue after approx 2 hours was a leak in my attic. Told me that the charge to fix would be the 300, including the 85 for the initial charge. He wanted 300 dollars for just diagnosing the issue and he left the lower cover off of my 10k dollar unit saying they did not take it off. I would not recommend them to anyone. The technician also left my home without powering back up my thermostat. Reached out to management, but no response yet!

Repairman Avi was VERY knowledgable, courteous and patient. I am a better generator owner because of his expertise and advice. HIGHLY recommend him for generator repair and advice.

They were fast to respond with an appointment. They were quick to diagnose the issue. The price was fair and they were done in less than 1 hour. Great customer service. The technician explained everything and what maintenance was need. Would recommend them to a neighbor and call them again for any issues.

James and his team was very thorough in their explanation of repairs making understanding what was needed and why very easy. They finished when they said, tested the system and advised on future preventative maintenance. Angela in Customer Service was very helpful, pleasant and spoke with a smile in her voice. These folks make it easy to do business with!

I hired them to install a whole-house surge suppressor on my meter box. The technician who installed it was very knowledgeable and did a good job with the installation. I think the price was fair, but don't have a comparison as I was recommended to the company by the company who installed my generator transfer switch, so I knew they had the equipment I wanted and I hired them without getting a second or third estimate. Communication with me regarding when the technician would arrive was not as good as I expected, but he'd had a long day and volunteered to stay late and do my installation.

James Canadian was very knowledgeable and professional. He was polite and was so helpful. I like the fact when you call American mechanical with a problem they are able to come that day to fix it. The people that work in the office are friendly and polite and helpful also.

Jon Vandergraff was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained every thing he was doing and answered all my questions. I was very anxious about my electrical problem and now I slept good for the first time in awhile. I was completely satisfied with his performance.
