Duane Hillegas did a terrific job. He is knowledgeable, polite, and a perfectionist in his work. We will be using his services again. American Electrical Inc., was also thorough in keeping us us up to date concerning the appointment. Thanks Duane.

A little on the pricey side and will require a second visit due to not having all the right parts on the first visit, but they were very nice to deal with so far and I believe they are going to get it right. I liked them enough to add some more work on the return visit.

Very professional, excellent service!

Our air conditioner went out last night, this morning I called 3 different companies none of which could come today (Saturday, on a July 4th weekend). Thank Goodness because my next call was to American Mechanical LTD. LT Brownlow showed up to our house within 3 hours with everything he needed to get the job done! I am now sitting in a comfortably cool house. LT was very courteous even taking off his shoes before he came in through the front door. He is a great guy. Cost was not bad considering it was emergency Saturday service. American Mechanical will be our go to company from now on, we will be converting our home to natural gas next year and this will be the first place we call! Thank you American Mechanical!

Phil and Ryan were professional and explained the process as they went along. Phil filled out the registration card, showed how to change the temperature on the new hot water heater, explained recycling of hot water heaters, and they were both thorough.

Manuel Santiago was our HVAC Specialist and we couldn't have been more pleased! Always on time, thorough job, explained everything he was doing and cleaned as he went! Highly recommend!

Great installation guys and hard workers

As soon as the technician arrived, he started to upsell me on annual maintenance plans. He wouldn’t do the service I hired him to do, because what plan I decided to buy, if any, would dictate my charge for the service call. I couldn’t swing an additional $1,700-$2,500 for an annual plan at the time, so he proceeded to do the work hired to do. He changed a filter & did a few things, was there for about 15-20 min, collected his $265, & left. Just a few days later, it was discovered that the gas pipe leading right up to the generator was rusted out in 3 places & had significant leaks. When I called to report to the company, they tried to say he checked those pipes, and it must have rusted and started leaking after he left. Then they tried to sell me on another part (a small door that covers the breakers, which had a broken hinge on the unit for another $180; a $25 part I actually purchased elsewhere by the way) This was a house my son was purchasing. The leaks were discovered after closing occurred. At this point I had no leverage to go back to the seller to pay for the repair, which was significant in cost. The gas meter was locked out from the City due to the significance of the leak; terribly unsafe. We hired American Mechanical in good faith to make sure it was safe. Terrible customer service. Instead of offering to come out and to try to do something to help remedy the situation or at least offer to fix at a reduced fee since they missed it, they made excuses. They just want to sell you something but were negligent in doing what they were hired to do in the first place. I would never recommend or hire them again!

Duane went above and beyond to complete the job in one day. Stayed late to do some inside troubleshooting. I highly recommend American Mechanical
