From my first interaction with Mike I was confident that the work I was having done would be done right. Jennifer worked with me to insure a timely installation of my new heat pump. I had been without a working system for 3 weeks at the time and my crazy schedule made installation a problem. David and his crew showed up worked quickly and efficiently reducing a two day installation to one day. Everyone was friendly and professional. This was not the most expensive or least expensive company I received estimates from but sometimes you have to pay a little more to receive quality work.

Tom got our old GE generator running smoothly again. I was afraid we would have to replace it but now we can get a few more years out of it.

Their responsiveness was phenomenal. Work was done super quick. The technician was great. The reason for my discontent is I advised the company that the city code requires a permit and inspection because this job was reported as a safety violation. The technician called the office to verify that this will be arranged and gave me thumbs up to proceed with the repair. As the work was progressing, I called the office to verify that I will receive the permit but was advised that they don't know anything about permits and this is second time this week that it happened. Eventually, I was advised that they can do the permit for me but it would cost me an additional $150 (actual permit cost $40). I like them very much for being super fast to address the issue. However, in a professional company that does work on items that city deemed to have a safety hazard should have much better knowledge of local code requirements.

American Mechanical, Inc. was extremely professional from the woman who answered the phone to Mike who explained my pricing options, to Tony J, and his crew Taylor B and Brennon O. I was impressed with the email they sent before the technician arrived with his picture and credentials, the quietness of the crew while working, and especially Tony J. checking in on my 89 year old mother and I to make sure we were comfortable and to keep me apprised of the progress,

Tony J. and his crew arrived on time and worked hard to complete a new AC/Furnace in my home. Tony kept me appraised throughout the process and was very helpful in explaining what was being done. Very professional, courteous, and respectful. I would highly recommend them.

Just for snaking the drain was very expensive

I did not expect it to be so expensive.

The technicians arrived on time and were very cautious not to disturb anything around the house. They are very knowledgeable and answered every question with great detail. They went over each phase of the install and made sure we understood what to expect. When the project was complete they cleaned up all their materials and left things neat and clean.

Tom and his partner are true professionals; their attention to safety and code was very evident in the work.

Seemed a bit expensive for the minor tasks completed. That being said, they fixed what we asked quickly and successfully. Took me a few calls for them to email me the receipts which I needed asap for closing on our home.

The whole process was excellent. I was looking for an HVAC company for annual preventive maintenance service and as our "go-to" company. Initial call and scheduling was efficient with excellent communications. Technician was outstanding. He arrived right on time and completed his work efficiently and effectively. In addition to being obviously technically excellent, he was excellent communicator. American Mechanical is not the cheapest around, but is a professional and first-rate HVAC company worth the extra cost to ensure HVAC systems are in great condition with reduced chance of emergency surprises.

From my very first interaction, they were so professional. They even were running behind by an hour and called me to let me know. Most companies don't do that. Thorough job as well and explained everything so it made sense.

Great overall company. one stop place for all my needs

HVAC specialist, Mr Santiago, came to inspect my dryer vent system in the crawl space. Already had two other folks, including a dryer vent company, clean and evaluate without resolution. He actually took the system apart and found that it was still clogged with compacted lint! He disassembled, scrubbed out, and then reassembled the entire duct and got everything working in short order. Not only that, but he had a super Get it Done attitude and didn't complain once about crawling underneath the deck to reach the door to the crawl space which is some distance from the duct work. I know it wasn't either pleasant or an easy job and the cost was very fair!

Excellent service and work quality. A bit expensive but great work, communication and fast.
