Bad experience and all due to lack of responsiveness on the part of Kyle ( which seems to be a recurring theme here ). It took a month to get a quote despite numerous calls to try to get a response. Not a company that I will hire for any job. Also, I called the owning company ( seegars fence) of Allison Fence to discuss the situation as they should be aware of the reputational damage of such actions on part of their affiliates . They apparently reached out to the owner of the Charlotte Allison fence franchise. No call to discuss. Not important to them to improve. Hence this review.

I called once and was told I would receive a call back from Kyle. After 2 weeks and no response, I called back and was told (again) Kyle would call me back. Again, no response. I received a recommendation about Allison Fence from a very highly reputable tree company in the area...I will be sure to let them know NOT to recommend this company anymore since they are completely non-responsive!

Looks great. Minor problem corrected.

Mark and Lee were very cordial. Mark orchestrated the creation of a new gate on site. It looks great! Since we had done similar repairs in the past, I was interested in the "why's" in their method of replacing the posts. Mark was patient and explained how cement should not be poured to the ground level as that encourages future rotting of the post since there is no where for rain to run off.

Allison Fence did a good job installing a gate to our house. However, recently the battery died and we went to put new batteries in but it called for a master pin for us to use the keypad. They did not give us a master pin when they installed the gate. My wife and I have called at least 7 times now trying to get the pin and have not gotten a response. We have left messages for Melinda on her cell phone and in the office (and with the receptionist) and we have yet to get a phone call or email acknowledging that we have a problem. I asked if someone else could help us and apparently there is no one else in the company that can help. My wife and I have been as patient and professional as we know how to be...This is frustrating because we have to leave our gate open, which presents a possible security issue. I never write reviews/feedback from services performed, but my experience has been so terrible that I feel obligated to warn other potential customers. I would not recommend using Allison Fence if you want any type of customer service.

The company was quick to respond and provided regular updates both on their quote and work. The work was completed quickly for a fair price. The work is well-done and the finished product looks fantastic. I highly recommend this company!

They were fine. The pricing was fair and they're very professional. They responded quickly to giving a price. They did a good job and I was satisfied with them. I would use the again.

The sales staff at Allison Fence was totally unresponsive. I called their office to obtain a quote to replace a 2-rail split rail fence. They took my name and number and said someone would get back to me. They never did. I called back a week later and they transferred me to the salesman's cell phone. The call went to his voicemail, and I left a message explain what I wanted and asked him to call me back. I never received a call. I moved on and hired another company to do the work. I would not recommend this company based upon my experience.

Allison came when they said they would and began work immediately. There was an on-site supervisor and two workers. The fence posts were perfectly spaced and vertical. The fence was perfectly straight. They left the site completely clean

After Melinda came out and measured she said she would email us the quote. After 7 days I emailed her and asked where it was. She then gave us our quote and said it would take 3 weeks to get it in. That was fine as we had to get the old fence taken down and new concrete poured and we were in no hurry to get new fence set. She said she would have to get contract and deposit before she could place the order On July 30th I emailed asking for possibly a picture of what the new double gate they were going to install would look like and also stated we would then be ready to sign contract and give deposit as everything else was done or scheduled to be completed. 3 weeks have passed and we have never received a response to our question and there is no more communication with her. I guess our $1550 dollar job was too small for them or they just lack any customer service. So now I will be calling another fence company to come give us a quote to match our current aluminum fence. Would never ever recommend this company to anyone.

The company representative quickly responded to my quote request and came out the next day. There price was lower than other quotes I had received. The work was performed about 3 weeks later and the quality was good. The contractor came on time and kept me informed of their schedule completion. Everything was cleaned up when they finished.

From start to finish, everyone was responsive and professional. We had an estimate within a day, and then had to wait 3-4 weeks for gate and fencing material to come in. Once the fencing had arrived at Allison, they arranged installation. Installation took only a few hours, and then made sure that we were happy with the work before they left. Paid for half of the job up front, and then the balance was collected a few days after installation.

This was the only job that I have EVER had done that went without a hitch. From the very beginning this company provided the upmost professional work. The fence was exactly what I wanted and looks absolutely beautiful. The men who installed the fence went out of their way to make sure that it was right. I really appreciated their hard work and have not regretted any part of this experience.

The fencing company was very efficient and did the job quickly. Their work was satisfactory and the fence is leveled. They were thinking about making adjustments to satisfy the building inspector.

It didn't go well, because they never bothered to show up to the appointment we had scheduled the day before. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone seemed decent, but after we scheduled an appointment to go over options and placement for the next day ... neither he, nor anyone else from the company even showed up. I had arranged my work schedule so I could stay home that morning for the appointment, but not only did no one show up from Allison, they didn't call beforehand (or since, for that matter).

Great Job! First of all Richard was the only one of the several company reps. who understood the design and some of the specifics of what I wanted. Secondly, I was really nervous about this, as the largest section of the fence had to be installed between mature shrubbery and my neighbors chain link fence. The two guys who did the work were so careful and just gently pruned the shrubs and moved in and out of them with such care, that you cannot tell they were ever there. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!

The fence now looks good, the part that they did, but I will never work with this company again. My salesman, Jamie Craft used to be with Craft Custom fence and I guess he was bought by Allison Sunbelt because when I called the number after I had hired Jamie a woman answered Allison Sunbelt. Jamie told me no more than a month and my project would be completed, took my deposit, got brick guys in here to start the brickwork and then disappeared! After a lot of calling I got a message saying to call Terry, the actual fence supervisor about timing and he said my job was still 3-4 weeks out and behind 4 others. I was outraged because I had renovations starting and needed this done so the new driveway could be poured on time. Terry was super helpful and came out to get me started when I told him the situation and when he got here he said they had measured wrong and built the brick walls to close together. Long and short, it looks good but it cost way too much and no professionalism.

I was told that a salesperson would call me in 2-3 days. Its now been 2 weeks with no call. I saw this lack of response and follow-through in other comments so am not going to "chase them down" to give them my business.

Out of six fencing contractors I contacted for estimates and pricing, Allison-Sunbelt Fence and Supply Co. was the only company that did not return my call.

I would never recommend this company to anyone, and it is nauseating to know that they would treat a customer this way. Even after they've given us a written, signed letter of support, they stab us in the back. I would strongly advise Angie's List members to beware of this company because their integrity is questionable at best.

The estimator called at the appointment time and wanted to reschedule due to rain. I told him it was not raining here so he said he would be at my place in 15 minutes. When he arrived, he did not want to come in the house, he only wanted to measure the yard. He did not give me a business card or any information except that he would call me on Monday with the quote. He was also going to measure my neighbors lot for a fence as well. My neighbor met with him outside to discuss what he wanted but the estimator seemed like he couldnt be bothered. He called me on Wednesday (not Monday) and said he had been sick but would call me Friday with the quote. Its been two weeks and neither myself nor my neighbor have heard back from him.

We originally thought we needed to replace our entire backyard fence. However, when Richard came out and checked our fencing he said the existing split rail portion was in good shape as it was locust wood and not pine. He said only selected rails and posts needed to be replaced. It was great to get someone that honest these days. We did need to replace the split rail gate as it was falling apart and we knew that. And we had already decided to replace the falling down picket portions with new aluminum picket style fencing. Once they had the parts, they scheduled and came out very promptly. The work was done quickly and professionally. They took extra care not to break my neighbor's invisible fence wire(which was just lying on the ground). Very good job.

Work was done properly but it took me three phone calls including an irate call before the work was perfomed.
