The company bid on the job as I was planning overlapping concrete work. The scope of the work was reduced after the initial bid, since the concrete company handled part of the originally quoted job. The plumbers were very flexible about the work being shifted, and reduced their price accordingly. The plumbers who did the work were very personable and thorough. The lead plumber took time to plan out the details with me at the start of the job. I asked that the sink remained unattached until I could complete some related work; he spent time with me at the end of the job, so that I had a good understanding of my finishing tasks.

Upon calling All About the Pipes I was very happy with the urgency with which our situation was treated. The woman that answered and schedules the plumbers was very friendly, professional, and helpful. A plumber arrived in a timely manner. I believe that his name was Chris. He quickly problem solved the situation and presented me with options. He was patient and gladly answered all my questions. We opted to have the new expansion tank installed on the hot water piping (correcting the original issue). He completed the work promptly and was very respectful of our home as he completed the work. I had used them for a minor issue previously (after finding them here on Angie's List), was happy to have called them again, and will definitely call them should I have a need in the future.

They are very easy to work with. They did a great job.

Very pleasant experience from making the initial call to the completed work. The receptionist was very friendly and courteous and scheduled an appointment right away. When Chris arrived he was very courteous and very professional. He handed me his business card as he identified himself at the door. He listened to my concerns, did an evaluation of the situations, gave me his opinion of what needed to be done, and completed the work in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the quality of his services, from his introduction til the presentation of the invoice! He's only been gone a couple of hours and I have already recommended him to two friends!

Left message, which was promptly returned by Mary. She recommended a place to check about purchasing the toilet, and even gave me directions to their store. Scheduled installation for Monday at 8:00 AM. At 7:00 AM on Monday, Chris called to say they had gone out on an emergency and would be about 30 minutes late. He arrived at 8:30 AM and completed the job very quickly and efficiently, with no mess. Chris is very friendly and personable, chatted with my husband about his truck, and even played with the dogs.

Excellent. Chris was on-time. He quickly assessed and fixed my problem. Stayed an extra 20 minutes to look at some other problems we were having. Helped to educate me on various aspects of my 1938 plumbing system. Gave me the Angie List's discount without even having to ask for it.

The representative estimated the job and the people showed up on time and did the work and cleaned up when they were done. I am quite satisfied.

Kevin and Daniel came to do the work and did an excellent job. It was a lot of work but only took them about 2 and a half hours. Everything seems to be fine so far so I am very pleased with their work. They take their shoes off and try not to make so much of a mess which is also a great plus. I would definitely call this company again for plumbing services. The office personnel is also very responsive if you have questions.

I would recommend him time and time and time again. He came, was professional, on time, and I don't have enough good things to say about him. The price was right. Not only did he work on the house I had inspected but I had him come and change out a garbage disposal and change out a stopper cover on my tub. The approximate cost is for two homes.

We called Mary at All About the Pipes and could not have had friendlier or better service. They got a great plumber here the same day and removed all the dog hair in the drain from the previous owner of the house. I don't ever plan to use a different plumber while in Charlotte.

Water heater tank (15 years old) in crawl space began leaking. Called Chris and he came out the same afternoon with estimate for 1) replacing the tank or 2) replacing with a Rinnai tankless system. Although the tankless system is more expensive the pay back is about 4 years due to energy costs saving in addition to providing unlimited hot water and takes up much less space. We chose the Rinnai. Chris came out the next day and installed the tankless system in the crawl space. His crew came out the following day and removed the old water heater tank. Every thing was done in a professional manner and on time.

Work was stared on time, guys explained everything they were doing. Very friendly and professional. Covered my floor and walls which in the end were covered with dust and concrete. Did a good job cleaning up.

They were very quick to give me a reasonable estimate and were able to come the next morning. They actually showed up 15 minutes early and knocked out the job in less than half an hour.

Very satisfied. They called to let me know they would be 15 minutes late. They then arrived when they said they would. Introduced themselves and I showed them what needed to be done. They did everything as promised. They even removed their shoes when entering the house.

The company fit my non-emergency visit the same day I called. The receptionist was so helpful and kept in touch about the time they'd be coming. The gentlemen who did the plumbing repairs was very polite and informative about what he was doing and why. He fixed it all quickly and was patient with my boisterous puppy.

He came on a weekend, and got up on the roof. In fact, he's the one who told us we needed our roof repaired. This is the plumber we've always used. We got his name off Angie's List and we won't use anyone else. If there was a rating higher than "A," I would give him that.

When I called to inquire and schedule an appointment, I spoke with Mary. Mary was very helpful and pleasant. She called me back right away with an estimated price and possible appointment time. Chris arrived just 10 or 15 minutes late, but Mary had called prior to let me know he'd gotten delayed with heavy rains and bad traffic - I thought that was very considerate and appreciated the call. Chris was very professional and attentive to keeping his work area clean, protecting countertops and floors. He was efficient and completed the work and was gone within 45 minutes. No more drips! Chris did a fine job and I thought the price was fair. I would hire All About the Pipes again if future plumbing needs arise.

Kevin got to my home on scheduled time at 8:30 AM. I explained to him the problems. He proceeded to the 1st bathroom and after looking over the inside, pointed out to me the situation. I already had most of the parts so he proceeded to fix that toilet. Then to the next one, and it was the same situation. He replaced everything inside the toilet and was done in less than one (1) hour.

Chris called early to see if it was okay if he came early, which turned out to work well for me. He did a great job. The shower had had the same problem a few years ago and seemed to be a tough problem for another plumber, but Chris fixed it easily and corrected some work the last plumber had done. He also did a great job on the drain. I asked him about our kitchen faucet which hasn't been spraying correctly and he showed me how it just screws off and told me that the company would probably send me a new one for free if I called them. (I did and he was right). He kept everything neat and clean the whole time.

Made phone calls on schedule. Performed tasks -was courteous.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY GAVE A FAIR PRICE FOR THE WORK THEY DID.

Excellent job. I initially was impressed that Chris called me three times the morning of the appointment to first confirm the appointment and then later to tell me he was running late. This contact was very much appreciated. I was impressed with the level of expertise and professionalism he and his employee demonstrated. The toilet had problems due to previous owner and others trying to fix something without knowing how to fix the problem. Chris immediately saw the problem and it was fixed correctly. I asked for suggestions on providing hot water quicker and was given helpful information as well as an estimate for additional installing outside faucets. I highly recommend Chris and his company.

I received excellent service. Chris gave me a bid over the phone thinking that the connection would be made under the house in the crawl space but when Gary came to do the work he discovered the hose bib would be too low to the ground so he connected from within the house, drilled through the brick, and installed at the proper height. He did the job for the amount quoted although it was more work than anticipated. He was very considerate of my house and put "booties" on over his shoes when entering the house. This spring the hose bib leaked. Chris came and replaced it. The cause may have been my fault because I might not have taken the hose off for the winter but Chris just charged me for the part, no labor.
