Thought I had a venting problem, but they investigated and made several recommendations. Decided to replace two toilets (which I ordered and picked up). Doug visited first and Larry did the installation. Both were very professional. Larry was especially knowledgeable and thorough. He was by far the best technician/plumber that I have used and their prices were very reasonable. They left the bathrooms very neat and clean and even disposed of the old toilets. I have not used Angie's list often, but this contact made it worth the expense.

The owner did the estimate - he was on time and very professional. I felt like the estimate was fair and appreciated that it was emailed to me. The team came out to start work on time. There were quite a few of them working on the jobs concurrently. However I had to have them come back out to fix a few items once complete. First - They needed to increase the water pressure the new line into the house as the pressure was not nearly enough. Second - They did not cap the end of the pipe they cut for the old main and as a result had a lot of rainwater in the basement during a heavy rain through this cut pipe. They did fix everything and came back promptly. For these two reasons I feel it appropriate to give them a "B" rating.

Larry was awesome - called ahead saying he'd be 15 minutes late since he had to pick up parts. He spent about 3 hours installing a recirculating water pump and 3 separate valves. He also found and repaired two leaks in one of my bathrooms. I had called another company about this same installation and their quote was $350 more than the quote from this company. Based on that I think their prices are reasonable and they provide great service. And he didn't even mind my very curious dogs keeping him company!

Excellent. Plumber was very knowledgeable and quick. Price is a little high, but I don't mind paying for quality work.

Got their name from Angie's; estimate on the first phone call. Arrived at appointed day and time, pleasant personnel. First person who came out took longer than had been extimated and left with the job not completed, and not detailed professionally. Upon calling their office to see what was going on, one of the owners came out right away and was very upset at his employee's performance. He promised to come back the next day and make it right. He came when promised and not only finished the job (again, more than they had thought the job would be), but also went back and redid some of the work, as well as throwing in a few extras. He checked back with us a few days later to make sure all was going well, and to make sure we were satisfied with the work, which we certainly were. Several days later, we also received a check from them for having had a less than superior first encounter and for allowing them a chance for redemption. I would not hesitate for a heartbeat to call them again or recommend them to anyone who need their service. Great company, great response, superior workmanship. These guys know what they're doing and and know how to keep customers coming back!

The house has a wood burning fireplace. The previous owners put in a vented gas log insert, which wasn't working correctly. I told All About the Pipes that I wanted to go back to a wood burning fireplace. They took out the gas logs and installed a gas log lighter, along with an on/off valve. My fireplace is now back to wood burning, and has the ease of a gas log lighter to start the fires.

Overall, the service went very well.

I contacted All About the Pipes Plumbing to try to address several issues and concerns about our house plumbing. They scheduled a time convenient to my schedule and we discussed their rates. I was informed that they do not charge for a review of our house plumbing. The issues I had included how to (or actually do it) change out two external hose outlets, what was causing a loud sound from our bath tub faucet, to repair a faucet handle, check to see if our waste pipes under the house were installed properly and any care for our hot water heater. Larry showed up prompty at our scheduled time (he even parked in the street so he would not block our cars in the driveway). We reviewed our list and he took the time re go over every issue with me. I was seeking an "expert consultation" and he provided it! We reviewed how to replace the external faucets, said that the waste pipe I installed looked fine ("well supported" he said), how to maintain my drains from clogging, what to be concerned about and what not to be concerned about for the hot water heater and what parts were needed to fix the tub faucet. He even showed me the parts and suggested the placement of a pressure reducer for our water supply. Larry offered to do all the fixes, but assured me that with what he saw of my work so far, he was comfortable that I could handle the tasks myself, should I choose to. He did look at the tub faucet handle (took it apart) and found the issue, but since he could not repair it then, he didn't even charge me for that (the tub faucet parts have a lifetime warranty, so all I had to do was order them, then replace them myself). Larry spent an hour with me, going over a shopping list of issues and questions. He never pressured me to do repairs that I could handle, but offered to do whatever work I would like. I offered to pay him for his time (a worthwhile investment in my opinion), but he said that it was not necessary. All About the Pipes Plumbing is the first place I will call for any plumbing service I need (I have needed it in the past and will in the future, regardless of my ability to do small repairs). Paul was scheduled to come out and give me an estimate for a new hot water heater. When he arrived I told him about the sink backing up the night before. He checked the pipes, called for someone to bring him the necessary equipment and cleared out the pipes. THEN, he took the time to look at the hot water heater and discuss with me the different options. He emailed the estimate the very next day, with estimates for all the different options.

Well, to the extent an unexpected major repair can go well, it did. After discovering a large puddle in the middle of my lawn, I called All About the Pipes (who have done a number of repairs for us) on a Saturday and asked for a return call on Monday. They called first thing and Chris, the owner, came to give an estimate right away. I confirmed the work the next morning and a team of three or four plumbers was there the same afternoon, and they all stayed until almost 7 pm to get the work done that day. They filled the trough where the pipe was installed and planted new grass as part of the service. Although the work was expensive, I think the price I received was about right... it's just an expensive repair, I think.

They were clean, prompt, pleasant, and did their work as promised.

I choose them because they had good ratings on Angies list. They came out very punctually and gave us an estimate which was a fixed price for the job. They were ready to start in a few days so everything went fine that way but the guy did not do that great of a job. We had to have him come back. I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be a great experience judging by the estimate and what he said. The valve was wobbling. It was loose. The whole front lined up. It was see through around the fixture. Another person came back and he fixed it all. He was polite and everything went fine. They did not charge anything for that. Everything?s fine now. They came back within a few days. They were professional but the job itself wasn?t. It was a good experience with reservation. I will use them again but I will ask for a different plumber.

I have been using them off and on for over a year. I like them because they are prompt, very efficient and nice fellows.

It was a great experience! AATP sent two guys to do the work and they arrived first thing in the morning (next day after I placed call/order). Little problems (like low pressure and small leak elsewhere) were dealt with timely and professionally. The water heater / electrical jobs were completed by mid-afternoon (county inspector comes the next day though). This was my second work order with AATP (the first was to snake out kitchen pipes). I was initially going to contract with a major retailer but the contractor they deal with was not very upfront with me and failed to mention that I would need to do all the contracting for the electrician and county inspection. This would have been time consuming as well as costly. I highly recommend AATP!!!

They came out early for the appointment. The plumber who came out was willing to answer all of my questions and explain what he was doing. He talked with me and explained all of the details about the pipe and the pros and cons. They did good quality work, however we have still not been able to completely stop the leak.

I called another Angie's List highly-rated plumber and got an estimate of $1,195. I thought this seemed a little high so I called All About The Pipes to get another estimate. Chris, the owner, came out the same day I called, evaluated the project and sent me an estimate the next day. Since the price was more than $250 less than the first quote, I emailed them and set up an appointment. The team arrived early and were really delightful to deal with. They didn't even mind my very hyperactive and loud chihuahua! The work was done quickly and described in detail. I would DEFINITELY use them again.

They actually arrived a little earlier than promised. They answered all my questions patiently, gave me an estimate and offered to match a lower price I had from a competitor. Some of the estimates I had were lower, but did not include all the services required, and their explanation matched the other stories I heard. No surprises on the price, I was charged the amount we had agreed on. I believe I got a reasonable and fair deal. They did the work promptly, cleaned up the mess, and gave me some tips for maintenance, and provided a little extra service. Installer's were professional and personable. I'd be glad to do business with them again.

I called on Friday 9/11 and set up an appointment for Wedsnesday 9/16. Marta, the representative who took my call, was pleasant and helpful. On 9/16, Dan, the assigned technician showed up at my house around 7:50am - a full ten minutes before he was supposed to - really liked his promptness. Also liked the fact that he placed "surgical slippers" over his muddy boots so he did not track any dirt into my house - nice touch! Dan was pleasant and patient in answering my questions - he quickly diagnosed that two rings within the faucet had worn down and needed to be replaced - this was the reason water was seeping out the side of the unit. He had to drive to a supplier to get some replacement parts and gave me a very clear estimate (about 30 mins) on how long this would take. When he got back, he installed the replacement rings but also cleared out what he called "some junk" (mineral deposits) that had built up in the faucet housing that caused the swivel to not move as freely as it should. He was efficient -his work is excellent - the faucet no longer has water seeping out the sides and the swivel moves very freely from side to side. I am very pleased with the work he did and would highly recommend others use this company.

Fantastic Experience! Chris Murphy was the plumber sent and he did a fabulous job. I explained the situation from my layperson perspective. Chris did a quick analysis and knew exactly where the problem was based on the pipe layout. He knew to snake the pipes at the right spot and was done within an hour. There was no mess, confusion or problems whatsoever. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!

Very pleased with the experience and expertise of All About the Pipes plumbing. Not all plumbers are qualified/experienced with installing tankless water heaters, so I had to dig through Angie's List entries to find a few that were. All About the Pipes gave proposal that made the most sense (direct vent vs. outside mount, etc.) and were fairly priced. I am very pleased with their follow up (excellent office staff) and their cleanliness (very focused on leaving a clean work area). The electrical work quote was higher than what was actually needed for the install, so they gave me a credit on the proposal price to reflect their lowered out of pocket costs with the third party electrical contractor. Also pleased with results -- our gas bill has been much lower compared to same months last year (and we only use gas for hot water in the summer, so it is an accurate comparison). Also 2009 tax credits can make the tankless hot water heaters much more competitively priced compared to tanked hot water heaters. It was worth the minor upfront cost difference in the end.

He did an outstanding job. He was punctual and very thorough. He checked out the main lines underneath the house to make sure they were fine, and then cleared out the two bathroom sinks. He did everything I asked and was very courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

The company responded immediately, literally within the hour. After determining that the valves were in fact old and faulty, they replaced both. Work was clean, and the plumber walked my property manager through everything. Very thorough and professional.

The disposal became clogged on Saturday night. On Sunday morning around 11:15, I called All About The Pipes and left my contact information with the person who monitored the 24 hour emergency repair line. After completing another job, Doug was here just after 2:00pm. He was friendly and repaired our disposal within 30 minutes. He also offered advice regarding the repair of my master shower pan liner. In sum, the overall customer service was excellent.
