All About The Pipes Plumbing

I called All About the Pipes and the lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful. She had a technician call me within an hour. Bill arrived at our home on time, was very courteous, and had a great attitude. He explained that the seal on the toilet had basically worn away and explained that he could replace it but we would want to replace the flooring around the toilet due to mold. I had BIll complete the repair and he did so in a very reasonable amount of time and was very conscientious about keeping the work area clean. I must say, Bill was top-notch and provided a great experience.

I am a service provider and little things are what i notice, Chris Came to my house and on his way down the driveway he grabbed my newspaper and handed to me. That is the little stuff that separates him and his company from all the others, he did a great job of answering all my questions and getting he estimate done. He was prompt in getting the estimate back and scheduling was easy. Brian the technician was on time and very pleasant I showed him where i wanted everything and he went right to work, I went to work and my wife stayed until he was complete, everything was neat and clean and very professional. i am going to have them put in a gas line for a gas stove this spring, they are the best. Their price was a little higher then others but well worth the price.

I discovered a leak in my powder room toilet on sunday. I called All About The Pipes Plumbing around 9:00 on monday.Although, the lady scheduled me for 1:30. The plumber called and told me he could come earlier which was slightly before noon. This is the first time that I used All About The Pipes Plumbing. I decided to call them based on reports I read on this site. Before this, I had used another company exclusively. I wanted to try another company. I have to say that I was very pleased with the entire process. Doug the plumber actually came over earlier than scheduled. He called first to let me know. He did a great job working on my repairs. Also helped me with the loose shower fixture. Doug worked non-stop, was neat and courteous. I am very happy that I decided to give this company a try. I was also pleased to see they use braided supply lines. I would definitely use them for other plumbing issues in my home.

The technician, Dave, arrived on time. He was very professional and listened to what he needed to do. He worked very efficiently through the house on the multiple tasks. He also did a good job up clean up as he went from job to job. Dave was very knowlegdeable regarding different products when asked by my wife.

Company representative arrived promptly, as scheduled. Employee was competent and courteous. He immediately went to work, cleared the drain and professionally completed his business. The cost was reasonable; and the employee wasted no time, ours or his. We thank you for the honest, reliable referral. We waited a week to confirm; and we confirm the job he did fixed the problem.

I recently had new granite counter tops installed which included a new stainless steel sink. I contacted "All About the Pipes" to schedule the installation of a new faucett, sink drains and garbage disposal. They were very helpful in scheduling their services so that I would not be without a ktchen sink. They even told me that if the granite did not get installed when scheduled that they would accommodate any changes and of course the granite did get delayed by one day They arrived on time and did a great job with the installation. I highly recommend this company. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

On the appointment day they called to postpone due to an emergency at another customer's house. On the rescheduled day, Clayton called to say he would be about a half hour late. Clayton arrived and performed a thorough plumbing fixture inspection and flushed the water heater. He was very courteous and professional. We received a written estimate on the repairs needed. We were very satisfied with our All About The Pipes Plumbing experience.

The inspection went fine. The plumber discussed and put in writing some items that should be done and why.

We called All About the Pipes as we had had a positive experience with them in the past. The response on their emergency line was within 15-20 minutes. The technician was excellent. He advised my husband to purchase a water meter key to stop the problem until determination of where the leak was located. He explained how to use the water key and waited while my husband turned off the water at the meter. On Monday morning, I received a call at 8 am as follow up. We were fortunate, the problem was with the City of Charlotte so they fixed it on Sunday. We were delighted with the helpfulness, follow up and responsiveness of All About the Pipes during the experience.

I came home to a wet garage floor and a hissing water heater. I have used this company before so I called their after hours number. The lady on the phone excused my panic and walked me through finding the breaker and turning the water off on the water heater. She sent the plumber by at 7:30 am rather than charge me for after hours service since I could live without hot water for the evening. The plumber was professional and very prompt. He looked at my water heater and found that the tank had rusted through and there was a pinhole in it. He also told me that the water heater was most likely original to the house and should have been replaced 15 years ago. He drained the tank while he went to the supply house and picked up the new water heater. He returned promptly and replaced the unit. He even took the time to show me where the main water shutoff to my home is located at and how to shut it off if needed. He explained that my old water heater had not been up to current code and showed the adjustments needed to install the new one properly. It didn't add a whole lot to the bill so I decided to go ahead and make those changes. This is the third or fourth time I have used this plumber and each time I am pleased with their service and professionalism.

We have used them before for an entire house inspection and loved them. We got a very high water bill, and this alerted us to the problem that we were having. Mary (receptionist) sent the owner of the company out to our home the very next day on an emergency basis. They were completely booked and they went out of their way to help us. The gentleman that came out was very helpful. We will continue to use them because of their honesty. He could have charged for the consult, but didn't charge a dime. He explained that our problem was our irrigation system.

Did a thorough inspection including going into the crawlspace. Gave me a detailed report of items that need to be corrected and repaired. Very impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and promptness. Even called ahead to let me know he was on his way and when he expected to arrive.

We selected All About Pipes from three other quotes primarily because of their apparent knowledgeability and product availability. We selected the Eternal Hybrid hot water heater because of Chris' information, the strong reviews nationally, the cutting edge technology that it provides, and the efficiency of the system (98% gas efficiency). Chris educated us about the features, allowing us to make in informed decision that we still feel good about seven months later. The Eternal has a 2 gallon reserve tank that is kept warm and prevents the slow heat up of typical tankless hot water heaters. The recommended $495 recirculating pump prevents the "cold water sandwich" in the shower by recirculating cooling how water back to the reserve tank via the cold water pipes. I just turned the pump off for the summer (b/c I want cool cold water at my fixtures) and can tell the difference in the hot water. Our two full bath system is instant-on, unlimited hot water with no cold water sandwich. The outdoor hot water heater installation was was done by a knowledgeable crew, and they brought in their own electrician to run new wiring to the location. My one complaint is that the insulation around the hot water line is not cut square, runs off horizontal and is, as a result, unsightly. Functionality - awesome.

This is the third time that I have had Chris and his crew do work for me, and I would never call another company to do plumbing work. The only small hitch was that he got tied up a little longer than expected on a previous job and forgot to call. But as a rule, every experience has been top notch. I have recommended AATP to friends who have had similar excellent experiences.

I liked their quality of work. They workers were excellent and very thorough. I would recommend them to others.

The guy that came to the house was polite and seemed knowledgeable. He did go under the house and turn a valve to possibly help with the water pressue in the house but otherwise just did what he came to do....flush the hot water heater and check fixtures. We already knew about the fixture issues we had and mistakenly thought that since he was there he could clean a tub drain that was slow ( for an extra charge $ of course - we did not expect this for free ) but he could not and said he didn't have the equipment. No big deal - To sum it up : glad we took advantage of the deal for $99. If we had paid what they advertised as what they normally charge ($225.00) we would have felt like we overpaid for a water heater flush. My be just us ,,,, don't know. They did say they would give an estimate for installing an outside faucet for us so we'll see what they come back with and if it seems reasonable we'll call them back.

Excellent Service! Doug called to say he had a cancellation and to see if he could arrive earlier. He was professional and friendly. He assessed the situation within 10 minutes. He then left to get the part he needed and came back promptly and replaced it. I couldn't ask for anything more! It will be so nice to use that shower again :) Thank you!!

I am very surprised by the number of A ratings that this company has received. We did not have the best experience with them setting up the plumbing for our store. The first plumber that came was great, unfortunately he got injured and couldn't finish the job. I think they had more work than they could handle and hired some inexperienced replacements. It took more than 4 appointments for them to complete the job, even though on the 2nd & 3rd appt, all equipment was there, but they couldn't dedicate the time to us to finish the job. It took more than 2 months to finish. They were very messy and spilled purple glue on our new floor and didn't clean up and now the floor is damaged in one place. They installed the drain for our espresso machine and we would have failed our building inspection if my dad hadn't changed it. Once we opened one of the sinks they installed was leaked immediately. Obviously something that they didn't test well, but the issue was blamed on a faulty part and they charged us for the service call instead of covering their work with the 1 year warranty they supposedly have.

Timely, thorough, cheaper than expected.
